Incredible Insight: Toy Factory Discovers Swarm Drones

Chapter 153 Let this scorpion fly and show the world.”Think about it, what if there’s a war one day... bah, I mean, what if a solar flare erupts, or satellite signals are jammed, or even if the plane flies into signal dead zones like deep forests or ten-thousand-foot abysses?”

Li Jiajun knocked on the blackboard, teaching a lesson to the hundreds of thousands of Netizens in the livestream with a serious face.

”At that time, if the plane is blind, wouldn’t President Wang’s package be delivered to savages? That absolutely won’t do! What we want to make is a legendary plane that never loses its way and always delivers its mission!”

”So, we must abandon our dependence on external signals and find a signpost etched into the Earth’s genes.”

Having said that, he skillfully switched screens and opened that familiar video website again.

”When in doubt, ask the biological world again.”

While searching, Li Jiajun started his voiceover complaint mode, muttering to the air:

”Humanity’s bit of satellite navigation technology was only developed in the last few decades, and it still depends on the weather. Animals have been migrating for millions of years without anyone getting lost. Real black technology has to be what the ancestors left behind.”

He typed a few keywords into the search box: migration, navigation, geomagnetism.

Soon, a flock of grey homing pigeons and giant sea turtles migrating in the deep sea appeared on the screen.

The narrator’s voice flowed slowly:

”A migration path of thousands of kilometers, with no landmarks and no satellites. They rely on biological compasses buried deep within their bodies, sensing the faint changes in the Earth’s magnetic field. No matter where they are, as long as the Earth is still spinning, the magnetic field lines are their way home...”

”Geomagnetism...”

Li Jiajun’s fingers lightly tapped the tabletop, his gaze gradually becoming hollow.

But he soon shook his head; he seemed to have grasped something, yet also felt it wasn’t enough.

’Relying on geomagnetism alone won’t work. Geomagnetism can shift, there can be magnetic storms; there needs to be a more constant reference point... for example, the stars?’

He constructed a grand coordinate system in his mind.

There’s the magnetic field on the ground, the stars in the sky, and one’s own inertia in between.

If these three are combined...

Ding!

[You researched the biological geomagnetic sensing mechanism, combined it with principles of astrophysics and quantum mechanics, and gained insight into the ultimate composite algorithm for geomagnetic fields, stellar positions, and inertial navigation!]

[You have realized the Starlight-Geomagnetic Composite Guidance and Quantum Gyroscope Attitude Calibration System!]

Boom!

It was as if a supernova exploded in his mind.

Countless complex star maps, geomagnetic models, and gyroscope structural diagrams instantly reorganized, forming a flawless set of navigation logic.

”This is it! The Trinity! Absolute precision!”

Li Jiajun suddenly grabbed a pen, rushed to the whiteboard, and drew three complex modular structures under the large word ’Navigation’.

Swish, swish, swish!

The pen tip danced, and lines of dazzling formulas and structural diagrams appeared on the board.

Ten minutes later.

Li Jiajun dropped the pen and pointed at the whiteboard, his face flushed with excitement like a primary school student who just scored a hundred.

”family! Look here!”

”This is the ultimate navigation system I’ve built for Shunfeng Group, the Sky-Eye Earth-Heart System!”

He pointed to the first module:

”The core is this, the High-Precision Quantum Gyroscope! It’s responsible for inertial navigation. As long as you give it a starting point, it can calculate where it has flown by memory, without relying on any external signals!”

Then he pointed to the second module, a small transparent window on the back of the fuselage:

”To prevent errors in the gyroscope, I designed this on the back of the plane, a Starlight Sensor! It can capture the positions of dozens of stars in the sky in real-time, perform triangulation, and automatically calibrate the route!”

Finally, he pointed to the belly of the plane:

”The most brilliant part is this! The Geomagnetic Matching System! It can sense every tiny change in the Earth’s magnetic field, just like reading the Earth’s fingerprint!”

Li Jiajun became more and more excited as he spoke, waving his hand with grand ambition:

”These three systems serve as backups for each other and calibrate each other! Not to mention no signal, even if the satellites in the sky go completely blind, even if the ground base stations all explode, it can rely on the stars and the magnetic field to deliver the package precisely into the customer’s hands!”

”And!”

He held up a finger and added with a proud face:

”To ensure precision, in this algorithm of mine, I’ve factored in the annual and diurnal variation rates of geomagnetism, and even the errors caused by the Earth’s curvature! The error will absolutely not exceed one meter!”

After speaking, he looked at the bullet chat expectantly, waiting for the Netizens’ praise.

However.

The livestream fell into that familiar, suffocating silence once again.

After a long while.

The bullet chat finally drifted out sparsely, as if frightened silly.

”...”

”Don’t ask; if you ask, it’s just high school physics.”

”Quantum gyroscope? Starlight guidance? Geomagnetic matching? Streamer, are you sure this is for delivering packages? With this configuration, it’s enough to deliver nuclear bombs, right?”

”I suspect this thing is already capable of intercontinental strikes... Error not exceeding one meter? Are you planning to deliver it precisely into the customer’s bed?”

”Dongfeng Express, Mission Always Delivered? No, it’s Shunfeng Express, Mission Always Delivered?”

”President Wang: I just wanted you to help me save some gas money, and you gave me a strategic-level navigation system?”

”Streamer, stop while you’re ahead. The outside is full of Experts from Chengfei and the aerospace sector; they’ve already surrounded the factory.”

...

Looking at the screen full of bullet chat, Li Jiajun rolled his eyes with a speechless expression.

He curled his lips and unconsciously started his voiceover complaint mode:

”These people, why are their thoughts so complicated? Intercontinental strikes? That’s illegal. I’m just doing this to take service to the extreme. Think about it, if a customer lives in the deep woods and the navigation is off by a hundred meters, what if the package falls down a cliff? That would be irresponsible to the customer! Precision is the lifeline of the delivery industry! Do you understand...”

Complaints aside, the design drawings were all complete.

Appearance: twin-tailed scorpion.

Power: Intelligent Variable Cycle.

Skeleton: Bionic Truss.

Navigation: Starlight-Geomagnetic Composite Guidance.

All the puzzle pieces were finally complete at this moment.

...

Half a month later.

At the Li Family Toy Factory, the massive funds urgently allocated from the Shunfeng Group turned into various expensive raw materials and precision parts like flowing water.

Under Li Jiajun’s personal command and with all the workers working day and night.

The prototype of the first twin-tailed scorpion drone was finally assembled in the hangar.

It sat there quietly.

The slender wings, the ferocious twin tail booms, and the matte coating full of industrial violent aesthetics exuded a suffocating sense of pressure.

”Boss! President Wang has arrived!”

Wang Dachui ran in out of breath, breaking the silence of the hangar.

Li Jiajun straightened his collar, looked at the big guy in front of him that embodied his hard work, and a confident smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

”Let’s go! Let’s go meet our financial backer!”

”It’s also time to let this scorpion fly for the whole world to see!”
