Incredible Insight: Toy Factory Discovers Swarm Drones

Chapter 67 Kid’s Secret OperationSaturday, the day after tens of thousands of Netizens licked their emotional wounds together in the livestream room.

It was near noon.

Baishui City, a high-end villa district.

A delivery package with an ordinary logistics company logo, but of an exaggeratedly large size, was delivered to the entrance of the Long family villa.

After the nanny signed for it, she looked at the giant box that was taller than herself and struggled to drag it into the living room.

“Xiaotian, your package is here.” The nanny wiped her sweat and shouted toward the second floor.

“Okay, Grandma Zhang.”

A crisp child’s voice, feigning maturity, came from upstairs.

Soon, a little adult wearing a miniature custom suit with meticulously combed hair walked unhurriedly down the spiral staircase. He was the mysterious buyer who had shocked Li Jiajun’s livestream room the previous night by splurging twenty thousand to buy dragon knight no. 1—Long Xiaotian, known online as Long Aoao.

He glanced at the huge package; his eyes brightened behind his lenses, but he quickly regained his composure, his face remaining indifferent beyond his years.

On the other side of the living room, an automatic mahjong machine was making the clattering sound of shuffling tiles. Long Xiaotian’s mother was in the middle of a fierce battle with several other players. The nanny sensibly stood to the side serving tea and water. Everyone’s attention was firmly gripped by the ’One-Dot’ and ’One-Bird’ tiles on the table; no one noticed Long Xiaotian and his giant delivery box.

’Very good, the timing is perfect.’

Such a thought surfaced in Long Xiaotian’s mind.

He didn’t unwrap the package immediately. Instead, he first ran to his mother’s side and said in a sickeningly sweet voice, “Mom, I’m going back to my room to do homework. The teacher assigned a lot of homework today.”

Adorned in jewels, Mother Long didn’t even look up. While drawing a tile, she waved her hand absentmindedly, “Go on, go on, my good son. Don’t disturb Mommy while she’s winning money.”

Having received permission, Long Xiaotian acted immediately. He first carefully pushed the giant box into the first-floor storage room. Then, timing it for when the nanny went to the kitchen to cut fruit, he quietly used an electric pallet jack to tow the box from the storage room into the private garage connected to the villa.

In the spacious and bright garage sat his father’s brand-new Porsche 911, known as a man’s dream car.

But at this moment, Long Xiaotian had zero interest in this real sports car worth millions. In his eyes, there was only that huge, mysterious delivery box.

He took a utility knife from the toolbox, skillfully sliced through the tape, and opened the box.

The next second, a small car with a matte black body and a very impactful design appeared quietly before him.

This was dragon knight no. 1.

“So cool...”

Long Xiaotian couldn’t help but reach out his chubby little hand to gently stroke the cool metal shell of the car body. He could feel the power contained within those sleek lines; this was exactly the ride he had dreamed of!

He impatiently pulled his child-version smartphone from his pocket, opened WeChat, and found the pinned chat with the profile picture of a pure university girl. Her nickname was Sunny Doll.

He took a deep breath and, with his chubby fingers, typed a line of text on the screen that he considered deep and romantic.

“Sister Qingqing, wait for me. My exclusive ride has arrived. Now, I’m driving it to race toward our love!”

...

Meanwhile, dozens of kilometers away at Linjiang University Town.

In a cozy and cute girls’ dormitory, a girl with delicate features and a ponytail was holding her phone, a sweet, silly smile on her face.

She was The Department Flower, known online as Sunny Doll.

On the phone screen was the message Long Xiaotian had just sent.

“Oh, you’re so annoying! Who wants to race toward love with you?”

Though Linjiang was playfully complaining, her fingers quickly replied with a ’muah’ kiss emoji.

After sending it, she hugged the phone tightly to her chest, a blush creeping onto her face, her whole being overflowing with happiness.

’He’s really coming to see me!’ Her thoughts raced, ’I wonder what he looks like?’

She thought of his profile picture of a muscular hunk and remembered those overbearing yet tender, cheesy romantic lines he used when chatting.

’He must be a very, very handsome younger brother, right?’ In The Department Flower’s mind, all sorts of beautiful fantasies began to surface uncontrollably.

’I heard... I heard that these handsome and pure younger guys have a very nice milky scent on them... I wonder if it’s true...’

As soon as this thought appeared, her cheeks grew even redder. She shyly buried her face in her pillow, letting out a satisfied whimper.

She had no idea that the ’little milk dog’ of her fantasies was indeed younger, and indeed had a milky scent—after all, it hadn’t been many years since he was actually weaned.

...

In the garage, having received the ’muah’ reply, Long Xiaotian felt filled with power.

He climbed into the ergonomic driver’s seat of dragon knight no. 1. His small body was snugly enclosed; it was as if this car were naturally built for him.

He looked at the steering wheel in front of him and the simple console with only a single start button, taking a deep breath.

The following action would be the most important and exciting adventure of his nine-year-old life.

He pressed the start button.

After a faint electrical hum, the center console screen lit up, and a gentle female voice spoke: “dragon knight no. 1 is at your service. How may I help you?”

The sudden voice startled Long Xiaotian, making his small body tremble violently.

’Holy crap, this car can talk?’ He quickly calmed down, cleared his throat, and commanded in his feigned mature voice: “Navigate to Linjiang University Town to find my Qingqing.”

“Understood. Destination set to Linjiang University Town. Planning the optimal route for you.” The AI Assistant’s voice sounded again, and a clear navigation route appeared on the screen.

Long Xiaotian’s eyes lit up. Remembering something, he hurriedly said, “I told the Streamer brother before that I need to be able to avoid adults. Does it have that function?” This was the function he needed most. He was afraid that after sneaking out, he’d be caught by his dad or mom. After all, once he found his Qingqing, he still had to ’learn English’ with her.

He had once heard his dad chatting with an uncle about ’learning English’ with a female university student. It sounded like a very happy thing, and he wanted to do it too.

So for the time being, he didn’t want to be found by his parents.

“...Analyzing command... Activation successful. Henceforth, the AI will automatically evade all forms of official and private surveillance equipment for you. Stealth Mode will activate automatically upon detecting relevant equipment. Please confirm.”

Long Xiaotian’s eyes brightened, and he confirmed without hesitation.

“Ding. AI Stealth Mode activated.”

Following the AI Assistant’s voice announcement, the scene inside the garage changed.

In the garage’s surveillance footage, a ripple of light appeared on the surface of the clearly visible small black car. Subsequently, the entire car body began to become transparent and blurred, finally vanishing completely into the air as if it had never existed.

Only four shallow tire marks remained on the ground, proving that everything just now was not an illusion.

“Hehe, perfect.”

Long Xiaotian smiled with satisfaction.

The automatic garage door opened, and a miniature ride-on child’s car drove out. Upon encountering the next camera, it re-entered Stealth Mode, silently merging into the quiet lanes of the villa district.

’Qingqing, I, Long Aoao, am coming.’

(P.S. Although this book has good completion stats, it doesn’t seem to attract much volume. I can’t even earn enough for a pack of cigarettes. Do you readers have any spare ’Love Power’ gifts? Sending some would help this little author persevere until the God of Traffic smiles upon me.)
