The hivemind is conquering for me?

The steam of the hot water clung around her form, the water droplets beaded off her skin, cleansing her of the aftermath of today’s events.

Yet she still felt dirty.

She knew why, she was not some clueless girl obtuse to her own feelings, but it was those very feelings as to why she was feeling so unclean.

Resting her hands against the wall, she allowed the water to run down her body for a few moments and sighed.

”He is your child...” She muttered to herself.

She had spoken those words a lot. Usually, saying it left her feeling bubbly inside. Her son was the best child a mother could have. Smart, handsome, powerful, good to his mamma. He was the whole package, but there were more adjectives to describe him. Adjectives a mother should never think about when thinking about their child.

Yet she couldn’t stop.

She knew Apollo was attractive. That was a given. And they had some ’close calls’ in the more adult section of their lives, such as when he gave her the improved Hyllus technique. If she didn’t have the restraint to tell him to run... She felt a gut-wrenching pain within her to think about it, but if he did not leave, she would have raped him she was so excited at the time.

And then there was that spanking back at the college... She shouldn’t have enjoyed that. She had betrayed her son and that was supposed to be a punishment, but she liked it. She liked being powerless under his oppression and-

She paused.

She was eighty four and knew her body better than most people ever did. The shower might have been wet already, but thinking about those things added a new moisture to the shower that was not water...

She sighed as she collapsed into the wall, supporting herself with only her forehead.

”This can’t go on... If only she didn’t meet him first...” She muttered. And it was not the first time she had muttered it in the last few weeks.

’She’ being her daughter, Kathrine. Whom she keeps trying to actively forget is a part of her life so she could feel less guilty about feeling the way she does about her partner...

”Mommy is sorry baby. She is trying so hard. But she is only human...”

Not wanting to feel sad, as she didn’t want Apollo to think she was upset, she focused on the current and newest source of her frustration. The slut. Her sister.

Just thinking about what she did. Not only to her baby, but also to her just before this shower! She was lucky Apollo had the ability to flip a switch in her and stop her from lashing out as it was disgusting how she was acting.

She was supposed to be the more mature one. The sensible one. And while Serena is an amazing battlefield tactician. The moment she steps away...

’Fucking slut... Trying to take My- NNGGH!’ Valerica punched the shower wall, her fist embedding into the tiling.

Another slip up. He wasn’t hers, not in that context. He was her son. Her son. She adopted him to love him as a son. That is what she is supposed to do. Supposed to feel. She isn’t supposed to feel like this. And because she knew this, rationalised it. Understood it completely, it frustrated her even more when the voice in the back of her mind told her to just give in.

To be a bad mom.

She wanted to think that rushing the adoption was a bad idea. But she could never. As despite her recent predicament, she loved having a child to be proud of. She never had that before. As having Apollo as her only child was the gift that just kept on giving.

She smiled and turned off the shower. 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

The gift that kept on giving.

She could hold onto that for the night. Keep the words in her brain to stem off the other thoughts. He was her gift. In the cold endless universe. It was he that stumbled onto her doors. That cured her of her condition. That has allowed her to continue her growth at a staggering speed.

She loved him for that. She would never stop

’I love him.’ She thought sweetly.

’I love him.’ She thought very sweetly.

I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him. I love him.’

...

”Brbrbrbrrrrr” I suddenly felt a chill down my spine.

”Are you alright?” Janine asked, looking up at me from her nestled spot on my chest.

”Yeah, I’m fine. I’m just pretending to be cold as an excuse to nuzzle you closer.” I cooed before positioning my hand to her rear and squeezing.

”Mmmh~” She said nothing else, just enjoyed the sensation as we watched the tv.

Without even having to look to my right. I copied the position I placed my hand on Janine, On Orchid at which point my love bug smirked and also nestled closer.

”Alright, stop making an old woman jealous and hand me the remote. It’s news time.”

Looking above me, Hecate was lazily floating in the air above the couch. The way she was floating made it look like she was spread across a chaise lounge. With my extremities busy, I resorted to using Telepathy to ’do a lazy.’

As Hecate took the floating remote, she rolled her eyes. ”You know I could have done that?”

”And yet you didn’t.” I replied back with a smirk, prompting her to narrow her eyes at me as she mumbled.

”Too cheeky. It is a good thing you are a Psionic genius or I’d torsion your balls so hard...”

I gulped and pretended I didn’t hear that as she began channel flicking until the news came on.

I immediately lost interest and was about to get my make out on with the blue ball of sexy to my left before a figure arrived in the doorway. She looked a bit gloomy about something so I asked in an attempt to cheer her up,

”Hey Valerica. Do you want me to dry your hair?” I removed my hands from the two most exquisite rears as I showed my glowing hands to Valerica.

Instantly her frown turned upside down as she ran over to me and got on the floor between my legs. She then turned around, rested her back against the couch and I grabbed a pillow so she could lean back without headbutting me in the groin.

As soon as I began to run my hands through her hair, she let out a pleasant. ”Mmmhh~ No hairdryer will ever compare to this.”

”Shush! I am watching!”

Valerica jolted in my hands as she suddenly looked up in the air at the voice that spoke.

”Oh Hecate! Sorry, I didn’t see you-”

”-I swear woman, if you interrupt one more time I will start grabbing clumps of Psionics from that Psionic reactor of a womb you have and will make endomitosis look like an orgasm.” Hecate warned. She didn’t care. She was old. She liked watching the news in peace.

She was also a little cranky at being used as a constant courier throughout the day so it was cathartic to let out that frustration.

Everyone decided it was best to remain quiet until the news was over. As I clocked back into the tv, a new story popped up.

A dark skinned woman who was very, very blessed in the chest region suddenly came on the screen and began to speak.

”In more core world news. A manhunt has begun in the investigation of a missing Noble, Ashley Athena.”

’Athena? As in Hailey’s mother’s side of the family?’ I thought to myself

”Ashley Athena is just eleven years old and fears speculate that this is in fact a kidnapping and ransom situation with the Athena’s being a prominent, ancient noble family hailing from the core world of Athens.”

”Tut, poor baby.” Valerica muttered.

”Indeed. Hopefully it is just a kidnapping though that way she will be safe since damaged goods don’t get a good price.” Hecate followed up.

”Ashley was last seen at resort Oric, a private island territory for wealthy and prestigious individuals on the world of Atlantis. With the amount of security and the isolation of the resort from the infamous Atlantis reefs, an investigation into how one so young could go missing from the resort is underway as we speak. Also-”

I suddenly drowned out the rest of what was being said as I frowned worried.

’Atlantis... That was where Samantha was setting up her new cult, right? I hope the two events aren’t linked together...’
