The hivemind is conquering for me?

”I’ll see you all in a bit, ok?” I said to my loved ones as I entered the shuttle with Hailey and the Praetorians.

”Of course, my baby. We will get ready for the party tomorrow. So much stuff to do, so little time.” Valerica spoke.

I gave everyone a short nod before closing the shuttle doors.

...

Once Apollo took off, Valerica turned to Hecate and spoke. ”Take these two to my seamstress then come back for me in a couple of hours. Buy yourself a dress, on me, as well as a thank you for everything the past few days.”

Hecate smirked hearing that. ”Oh? I see. It’s about time I bought the most expensive dress imaginable. How fun. Oh, don’t give me that look, you know you can afford it.”

Valerica didn’t rebuttal, it was true, she could afford it. Having generational wealth going back hundreds of thousands of years made compound interest scary.

Once everyone had gone through Hecate’s wormhole, Valerica casually walked back into the house. Humming a slight tune, she made her way to the kitchen where she proceeded to pour herself an extra large glass of water and also picked up a kitchen towel.

Taking the beverage and the towel, she made her way to the longue. Her almost naked sister was still on the floor, passed out.

Valerica continued her little hum as she walked over to her sister. Kneeling down beside her, she got Serena on her back at which point she gently draped the kitchen towel over her sister’s face.

Climbing atop her sister, she carefully pinned Serena’s hands to her body and used her legs to keep them in place. She then reached to her side, picked up the water and dumped it over Serena’s face.

Before Serena could even gasp as the cold water woke her up, Valerica grabbed each side of the kitchen towel and with as much force as she could without ripping the thing, pressed downwards against Serena’s face.

Valerica counted calmly for sixty seconds while her sister squirmed with all her might to break free.

Once the sixty seconds was up, Valerica removed the cloth and watched with total indifference as Serena began to cough and sputter, tears burning her eyes making her look a mess.

After barely recovering, Serena looked up and wheezily asked. ”Valerica? What the fuck?” She then grimaced in agony as the hangover she was feeling hit her like a brick.

”Shut up!” Valerica yelled, grabbing Serena by the throat. ”I warned you. Make a move on my son and I will kill you. The only reason I decided to waterboard you and not slit your throat is because you didn’t fuck him. But that was your plan, wasn’t it? To do so anyway, even when I asked you not to, you fucking slut.”

Serena glared at Valerica for a few moments. However, her eyes quickly turned surprised, then shocked, then mocking. ”Wow... You are jealous.”

”Jealous?” Replied back perplexed, like the words were alien to her.

”Ha! HAhaha!” Serena began laughing hysterically.

”Stop laughing.” Valerica spoke, increasing the pressure around Serena’s throat.

Serena began to choke, but continued. ”I just- Thought you were being- Protective... No. You are jealous. Ha-ha”

Valerica increased the pressure around Serena’s throat for a few moments. The urge to off her sister was beyond what she thought capable. She might have actually done it, save for one thing. If she killed her over that statement, it would mean Serena was right...

Valerica swiftly let go, stood up and moved to the side.

Serena quickly got up to her feet, nursing her neck with her hand. ”You crazy bitch!” She spat venomously while she continued gulping in air.

”I’m not crazy. You are just suicidal. I warned you, you didn’t listen. My baby-”

”-Apollo is a grown ass man. He is not your ’baby.’ He can do what he wants with whoever he wants.”

”Oh Thats right he can. With whoever he wants. Except you.”

Serena just blinked in surprise. ”Are you really that petty?”

”Yes.”

”...”

”...”

The silence lingered on for a short while before Valerica spoke up. ”How far did you two go?”

”Why? Are you jealous?” Serena smirked.

Valerica narrowed her eyes dangerously. ”Answer.”

Serena narrowed her eyes as well, getting ready for a fight, but she answered. ”My memory is a little foggy, but from what I recall. We kissed a bit. I jerked him off a little, he rubbed me over my panties using some incredible Psionic energy technique. I was going to blow him, then fuck him, but the drink we had had a delayed fuse. Knocked me into dreamland... Wait, is Apollo alright? He had almost all of that cask by himself. Fuck-

”-He is fine.” Valerica said and paused as she took everything in. A million thoughts went through her mind, but only one question needed answering right now.

”Why him?”

”What?” Serena asked, confused.

”Why him? Out of everyone in the galaxy. You could have anyone with your status and looks. So why him? Why Apollo? Was it to hurt me? Because I asked you not to?”

Serena paused for a moment. The look on her little sister’s face was one of rare vulnerability. They might be arguing and she might have just been waterboarded, but she didn’t want to needlessly hurt her.

”Outside of your Pankration’s with him, have you seen Apollo truly fight? Have you seen what he is truly capable of? Because I have. Sis, he is a one man army. He is young. He is hot. He is powerful. I cannot remember the last time I’ve looked at someone solely for their power and it made me wet. Apollo has that effect on me. We might be strong, we might not need protecting, but we are still women. That redundant biological urge of seeing a man as a protector is still there. Apollo hit that button for me. So I tried to have a nibble of all that yummy.”

”And you don’t care what that might do to your family? I mean, he is Kathrine’s partner. Do you really think she would want her family trying to fuck her man?” Valerica asked, trying to guilt Serena.

Serena frowned. Most of last night was a drunken blur. But she did recall her moment of restraint when she asked Apollo a similar question regarding Kathrine. And his answer was what emboldened her in the end.

The weird word she couldn’t remember, but Apollo did tell her what Kathrine’s ambition was with her family. She was her aunt. A part of her family. That counted, no?

Serena smirked at Valerica. ”Do you perhaps know about Kathrine’s plans for her future?”

”What? Don’t change the subject.” Valerica said, prompting Serena to laugh.

”Hahaha! You don’t! Oh this is just wonderful. You are getting so jealous over such a little thing. I am sure when everything is revealed to you, you won’t be playing the same tune you are now.”

”Serena, what the fuck are you talking about?”

Serena bit her lip and looked her sister up and down. Kathrine’s idea wasn’t that bad actually. She would love to see her little sister void of all haughtiness and shown her true place...

”No.” She spoke.

”No?” Valerica parroted.

”Your intimidation tactic has failed, sister. Do you know something? You have actually emboldened me. I have decided that I now want Apollo for myself. He is going to give me more children and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.”

Valerica tore away the loose dress she was wearing, revealing her sports wear underneath. She then took a combat stance in front of her sister.

”Do you want to bet on those words?”

Serena smirked and took a stance of her own.

”Try and stop me... Do your worst.”

...

”So how far did you two go last night?” Rhapso suddenly asked, breaking the silence that had been permeating through the ride.

”Rhapso!” Nerissa scolded.

”What? We were all thinking about it. Look at the Princess, she is practically dying to know.”

”Oh? is that why everyone was being quiet? I was just matching the vibe.” I said before continuing.

”As far as I recall we just kissed. I have never been that drunk before, it hit me like a Warlord. I know she passed out like an hour before I saw Orchid though, due to my Psionic massage, oh yeah I gave her one of those too, So aside from that, not much could have happened... None of you are mad, right?”

Hailey acted first, kissing me on the cheek. ”Of course not. I already told you I know what I signed up for. Though admittedly I would have been a little upset if you slept with her.”

”I have no problem with it, kiss whomever you like.” Rhapso followed up.

I then turned to Nerissa for her opinion, she gazed directly at me and spoke in a way I had not heard in a while. ”Why would I have objections, Sentinel Lambdason?”

I smirked at her, prompting her to look away and out of the shuttle. It was cute when she was shy and tried to remain stoic.

Nerissa must have felt my gaze and being cute, interrupted the silence as she spoke,

”Look, we have arrived. I’ll bring the shuttle down manually.”
