The hivemind is conquering for me?

After some time, I left the room. The moment I did Nerissa and Rhapso were naturally waiting for me.

”Is everything alright, Apollo? Is Hailey alright?” Nerissa asked me.

”I-uh- Yeah. Hailey is fine. But I think she needs some time to herself. We should head back to Valerica’s- Oh! Actually first. I should go and pick up my other clothes I left in the changing room. Then we can go.

The duo had no complaints with that and in no time we had got into a shuttle and were flying back to Valerica’s.

My thoughts lingered on Hailey... I felt really bad. The last thing I wanted to do after all that fun was give her a panic attack.

I really did assume she had thought about the idea of her mum coming back. It was the first thing I thought about when she said she could reincarnate...

I shrugged my shoulders. She needed space to collect her thoughts. We still left with a kiss and a cuddle so she wasn’t upset with me or anything. She just needed space to think.

”Oh!” I suddenly exclaimed, turning to Ness and Rhapso. ”Hailey wanted to say thanks for watching. I don’t think she understands our relationship just yet, so she assumed you were doing it out of obligation.”

Rhapso giggled. ”It was a treat to watch, wasn’t it Nessy-Bear?”

”I always find watching Apollo to be intriguing. Yes.”

”That was Nessy-Bear for ’It turned me on.’ I could see her vitals in my Hud. They especially increased when you took control and-”

”Rhapso. Don’t bully Nerissa. Speaking of bullying. We didn’t speak about it as we were in presence of Elaine, but what happened between you and your family earlier?” I asked, folding my arms.

The two stayed silent, so I went again.

”Threatening your kin over me? I’ve never asked either of you to go that far for me. I don’t want to cause strain between you two and your siblings.

”But Apollo! They were going to take-” Rhapso started, but I cut her off.

”-I know. I know. Your intentions were pure. I appreciate the two of you, and Phoebe from what I heard for protecting my gear. But! I need the two of you to promise me that our relationship is not going to negatively impact the relationship with your family. If you can’t promise that. Well, maybe we should take a little break?”

The words hit the two like a blow to the gut, sapping their strength. Neither wanted that. Neither wanted to part from Apollo’s side yet. They were enjoying themselves. They enjoyed Apollo. They were happy.

”Apollo. Permission to speak the real truth?” Nerissa asked and I knew what she meant by that.

”Granted.”

She sighed. ”Apollo. It’s hard keeping this secret from the others. When they act against you, it hurts me because they don’t know the truth about what you are... If they just knew, if they-”

”If they knew what I was, there would be massive activity. With how long it’s been since the others disappeared, I highly doubt they would let me, who cannot verify exactly who he is, go. They would keep me prisoner. I wouldn’t like that then I would have to tap into my ultimate power and kill everyone and everything. Then you would also hate me and that brings me great sadness. Well that’s the worst case scenario anyway.”

”I wouldn’t hate you, Apollo. The others should know not to mess with you... It just annoys me when they talk about you behind your back. Actually, it really pisses me off.” Rhapso stated before sighing. ”But I do promise you. I won’t cause more trouble for my kin. I knew it was a bad idea to threaten them, but I just got defensive of my cute human.”

”Your cute human is it? Careful now. Anymore possessive and I might just give into my inhibitions.” I said in a flirtatious tone, prompting Rhapso to begin giggling like a schoolgirl.

I then turned to Nerissa and smiled at her. ”And what about you, Ness?

Ness turned her head to the side slightly, her hands began to fidget slightly. ”Y-You are also my cute human...”

”I see...” I said, a smile erupting on my face. ”I actually meant do you promise not to cause more trouble for your kin? But I will take that little fact happily. I’m glad my Nymphs care about me as much as I care about them.”

”Hehe~” Rhapso giggled both at my statement and at Nerissa before she replied.

”Oh... I promise, Apollo. Anything you ask.”

I raised my eyebrow. ”Careful, Nerissa. Those are some dangerous words. Why anything I ask? I might just have to ask you to come and kiss me to seal the promise. Or maybe-”

”Ok.”

Nerissa stood up, her armour still in a sitting position at it split from the middle before taking a step and promptly sitting on my lap. Before I even knew what was happening she leant her weight against me and pressed her lips against mine.

I didn’t even question it as I began to run my hands through her green hair as we engaged in our most passionate kiss yet. Her tongue was shy, yet excited as it pressed against my own.

We kissed for a few moments before I felt a tap on my shoulder. Opening my eyes to look, Rhapso was now sitting next to me, almost naked, her eyes looking at me longingly.

I opened my legs, putting Nerissa on one thigh before pulling Rhapso onto the other. I then pulled away from Nerissa’s lips for a moment, an almost impossible task before switching to Rhapso.

Rhapso was borderline aggressive once more. Being what I was to her. She yearned for my touch while also not wanting to push her luck too far. The balance it caused was a white hot passion that resulted in her exploring my body with her hands as she allowed me to totally dominate the kiss.

After a few moments, I could feel Nerissa’s agitation building so I pulled back and turned to her, smiled sweetly and pulled her chin towards mine for another kiss that she hungrily accepted.

Being curious, I let out a tendril of Telepathy, something she picked up on and allowed connection with her own Psionics.

’Did your heat build up again watching Hailey and I?’ I asked her while our lips were still pressed together.

’Is it that obvious? I thought I was being discreet.’ Nerissa replied meekly.

I sent waves of enjoyment and amusement down the connection before replying. ’Ness, you usually pull back by this point. And I’ve been squeezing your ass and you haven’t even squeaked.’

To emphasise that point I groped harder for a moment, feeling her cheek dint under her body suit.

She let out a soft moan into my mouth, surprising both herself and I as I felt her ’heat’ being relayed back to me through my telepathy.

”Apollo~ Stop leaving me out~” Rhapso pouted, prompting me to link with her as well before turning to kiss her.

While connected to both of them, I couldn’t help thinking through the tendril.

’This day just keeps getting better.’

...

The shuttle landed on its own and moments later the three of us left.

Taking in the crisp mountain air, I let out a satisfied sigh. ”Good day, good day. I don’t think anything could ruin it.”

*SMASH CRASH*

Just as I said that a window of the mansion suddenly shattered and out of it a large bookcase flew through the air before crashing onto the ground below, splintering everywhere.

”What the shit?” I exclaimed before running inside.

The scene was chaotic. The entire house had been ransacked. Furniture smashed. Holes in the walls. The works.

”Graahh!” I suddenly heard a grunt of aggression from upstairs and swiftly made my way towards it.

Was Valerica in danger? Was Serena? Was it someone else? I had seen blood in places, so my heart dropped into my stomach fearing the worst.

I continued to follow the carnage and the voices were getting louder.

Two individuals.

Getting ready for a fight myself if I had to, I donned my armour, minigun at the ready on my shoulder and charged through the wall, they might expect the door...

The wall gave way to me, sending debris flying as I got into a combat stance. I was ready to charge at the first person I didn’t recognise, the assassin most likely. But I paused.

Serena and Valerica were standing there. Half naked as their clothes had been ripped to shreds. They had gashes, scrapes and welts all over their bodies. Serena had an eye fully swollen and Valerica had what looked to be a spear tip embedded in her shoulder blade.

Serena had Valerica by the hair and Valerica had Serena by the throat. Both were currently in the midst of a swing, but had suddenly paused as they registered both mine and the Praetorian’s presence.

The duo took a cursory glance at each other before amicably pulling back.

Before I could even begin to ask questions, Valerica suddenly pulled the spear tip out of her back before tilting her head to the side while closing her eyes lovingly. She then smiled and proceeded to innocently ask me,

”Hello, my one and only. How was your day at the palace? Are you hungry? Do you want mama to make you something to eat?”
