The hivemind is conquering for me?

Artemis observed Apollo as he interacted with Skaja and Serena. Something was going on. Something about him had changed in the blink of time since they last spoke. She cursed her fragmented form for she had a feeling she knew the answer in some way, but also didn’t.

She decided not to push the issue though, like she thought before, she had time on her side. She would just observe and watch her friend and see just what will be unveiled before her... ’Still. Just how is he able to hold my spear like that?’

...

Night fell and I long left Skaja and Serena behind. I had made my way to the elite squad to chat and mingle. Some were still bitter about me leaving again, I was noticing a trend, but all were good people and were forgiving.

Well, most. Another bet had gone around and many had not learnt from the last time. It turned out I had made Iilr and a few others very wealthy from this war and I found that amusing.

”Apollo, can I see your fire?” Lena asked, her body slinked across the top of a Knight chassis, the occupant seemingly not fussed.

”No. Not now, you do remember the state you got in last time right?”

Lena nodded. ”Yeah, but that was then, this is now. I want to see some flames. Please~ I’ll let you cop a feel?”

”No Lena, calm down.” I said calmly, that didn’t work.

”Why not? C’mon!” She then slammed her hand on the knight’s chassis. ”I’ll let you fuck Alex in the ass. I promise it will be worth it.”

”W-What! Lena, don’t say that!” The Knight suddenly spoke and began swatting her large arms at the woman who just offered her up like a pimp.

”Oh, c’mon. You will love it! I’ve showered with Apollo before. Bro is packing a long dong and his cum gutters are yummy on their own. Go on, accept the offer so I can play with some primo fire- Apollo, can I play with your fire?”

I let out a deep sigh. She wasn’t going to take no for an answer and I didn’t want her blurting out facts about my body. ”Lena, come here.” I gestured and the woman closed the distance between us with shocking speed.

She was literally bouncing on the spot with excitement as she waited for me to whip out my fiery balls, but I didn’t.

Instead I grabbed her by the arm, pulled up her sleeve to reveal her burnt arms and applied my Pyrokinesis to my hand. The sound and smell of sizzling flesh instantly began to permeate through the surroundings.

Some of the more normal elites nearby were about to intervene with my burning of Lena, but swiftly stopped their actions as the woman moaned.

”Mmmhhyah~”

I let Lena go and she collapsed to her knees and began to breathe very sensually. A few of the men began looking around uncomfortable. The sound of a horny woman was not common on a warfront.

Lena’s breathing increased as she looked up and her red eyes locked with my own. She continued to stare at me for a few moments before seconds later, a flip was switched and it was like the past few minutes just didn’t occur.

”So, what were you saying before my fix? You are going to the coalition? That’s rough~”

”Yeah, I know, but I am-” I began.

”-I mean, I am going back to the college. How are you going to cope without your bezzy mate keeping you in check? You are a pretty weird guy after all, I don’t think the aliens will get your whimsy and charms... Do the aliens even know what fire is?” Lena then crawled into my lap and was looking up at me backwards.

”Apollo, you should show them your flames! All close up! They should feel them claiming their bodies. I wonder how all those aliens smell burnt to a crisp... The smells of fire cooking their flesh like an all you can eat barbeque... *Gulp* Fuck, that sounds so good... Anyways, are you gonna miss me?”

I opened my mouth to speak, but Lena continued.

”I am gonna miss you, that’s for sure. You and me. We are the only ones that get it, y’know? Us fire fuckers are unique. We are the same. Sure, sure, there are other fire fuckers at school and all that, but they aren’t my bezzy mate. You are. Even though you do often run away for months and leave me behind... But like I said, I forgive you because if I don’t who else will? I have to set an example for you to follow after all... Now can I see your fire?”

...

”Give it here! Stop hogging the flames! They deserve to be with me! Lena was screaming at the top of her lungs.

I had summoned a ball of flames after she continued to ask for nearly two hours straight amidst her moments of... Yeah.

Anyways, I had not given it to her. Instead I had thrown it to one of the elite, as I had beforehand told them about how my fire balls worked and how they could hold them for a bit.

Long story short, a game of keep away was at hand and had been going on for nearly twenty minutes straight. Entertainment was entertainment. Something new was most welcome from the dreary waiting.

However the game was cut short as a figure approached the group. Almost everyone present stood at attention at the man’s approach. The man holding the fireball tensed his entire body at being stared at by the figure, before being flung meters away as a fire addict crashed into his body at full speed, screaming.

”MINE! AHAHHAHAHAHA!”

Lena then ran away, completely ignorant of the presence who had just seen that whole theatrical event.

...

”Fire fuckers...” King Sigismund muttered under deeply modulated breath before looking around. He found who he was looking for, still sat down, stroking the head of that blue snake, stargazing while the Two Praetorians stood either side of him.

’At least it’s in that preferable form.’ He thought before turning to the Psionic elite present. ”At ease, everyone. As you were.”

He then approached the youth with his own two Praetorian retinue following behind him.

As he approached, he expected Apollo to turn to him, but he didn’t in fact he was surprised to hear Apollo singing. And not in the common language, but ancient Spartari. Sigismund just found him standing there, listening to the song.

It was a song about drinking and dancing surprisingly; One he had never heard before. It was catchy, upbeat and he wished he had heard the entire thing as it seemed Apollo was closing up,

”Pa’lin the’lo hore’vin, hore’vin”

”Pa’lin the’lo hore’vin, hore’vin”

One of the Nymphs began to clap excitedly, also unaware of his presence, but the other, Nerissa, had spotted him and stayed still.

”Well sung lad, I wasn’t expecting-”

”-What the shit!” Apollo suddenly got up to his feet and drew his sword from the air next to him.

The two Praetorians took a step forward, doing their job, but Sigismund raised his hand to stop them. ”It’s alright. The lad was just lost in his music. It is my fault my voice sounds feral in this armour.”

...

”Sigismund?” I asked and got a nod. I instantly put Zircon away and bowed my head slightly. I might not be a stickler for authority, but even I knew drawing on a king was not a good idea.

”Raise your head lad, It’s my fault like I said.” Sigismund declared, so I did, letting out a long sigh of relief.

”Long time no see, how have you been?” I asked, breaking the ice. My question prompted Sigismund to let out a chuckle, and through his armour, it sounded demonic. It was pretty cool.

”I am well. Many Drakoshi have died in the last day. I am surprised you have taken the initiative to join the front. Many would take the rest after what you have been through.”

I shrugged my shoulders. ”Why sit when I can fight? The Drakoshi need to be purged. I am able to purge. To sit back and do nothing would be an insult to all those still fighting.”

Sigismund smiled under his armour. It was like he was looking at a younger version of himself with what the lad was saying. He had come looking for Apollo for another reason after finding he was here, but first.

”So, that song. Ancient Spartari in origin correct? It was very pleasant. What do you two think?” He asked, turning to the two Praetorians behind him.

”Very well sung.”

”I liked the fact the founder Aphrodite was mentioned in the middle verse.”

”Yes, I concur. Who taught you that lad? In fact, your Ancient speech is practically better than mine and that is a feat for one so young.”

Filled with so much pride, Rhapso couldn’t contain herself and blurted out.

”Apollo just came up with it on the spot! Didn’t you? Tell them!”

I looked at Rhapso, she was a bit too excited about me singing a song I could remember and sing only thanks to my Linguakinesis.

I then turned to Sigismund and used my thump to point towards her.

”What she said.”
