The hivemind is conquering for me?

Samantha felt the kiss linger for a few moments before Zorina pulled away. Her face was a mixture of relief and disappointment.

Her hands then caressed Samantha’s cheek as she said, ”Sorry dear. I was just making sure. I’ve never had feelings for another person like I have you. But I am no lesbian. Sadly. Please don’t hate me or goodness, please don’t tell Savitri. I was just so selfish then. I’m sorry I-”

”-Shhh.” Samantha hushed while bringing Zorina back into a hug and began to stroke her hair affectionately. ”It is ok. You were not a fool for doing what you just did. I am not oblivious to the connection between us, Zorina. But what we have isn’t lust or romantic love. It’s something deeper.”

Zorina held Samantha tight as her curiosity got the better of her. ”Something deeper?” She asked and Samantha nodded her head.

”Yes, what we have. There aren’t really words for it. Friends and best friends are too light to say what we are. Simply, we have found each other. Two souls that need each other in our lives going forward. And I need you Zorina. I need you desperately. Not as my partner, my lover, not as my mother. I just need you.”

Zorina felt her breath begin to hasten. Ever since she was a child, she had always fended for herself. That is what it took to make it in this galaxy. Power and wealth allow you to form some bonds. Allow for family, but even then the ties are weak.

This though, what she felt for Samantha. This was something else. This was the desire to feel vulnerable. The urge to simply be there for one another. Without anything else getting in the way of things.

Samantha was the only one that had ever seen just her. No titles, no money. Just her. That’s why she mistook her feelings of this intimate relationship for sexual love. But Samantha was right. This was more. This was better.

A few minutes passed in silence as the duo just held each other before Zorina spoke up, ”You know? Despite me not liking that kiss for other reasons, the actual kiss itself was electric. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better kiss. Just thought you should know since we have that type of relationship.”

Samantha smiled, knowing why the kiss was good, but didn’t hint at it. ”You have very soft lips as well, but yes. Let’s not do it again. I also only like men.”

Zorina pulled away and gave Samantha a cheeky luck. ”Men plural? So my Savitri isn’t good enough for you?” She asked with a raised eyebrow before laughing.

”Hahaha. I kid of course. Cacia men aren’t that well endowed from my experience. I wouldn’t blame you for getting your kicks elsewhere. Though you haven’t recently though, right? I would hate for Savitri to have his heart broken, I couldn’t just off you like any random harlot. You mean too much to me... Hah~ It feels really good to say that you know? I’ve never felt this way so thank you again for letting me.”

Samantha laughed as the two of them made their way towards the couch where the two poured themselves another drink before Samantha replied. ”Oh, don’t thank me. I don’t require it. It’s just the way things are for us. And to answer your question. I have had no partners since Savitri and I met. Though... Never mind...”

”Tell me!” Zorina said, excitedly, pushing up against Samantha. Her eyes then went wide as Samantha suddenly blushed.

”Back where I used to work, I... Got involved with an Archon. I’m not going to say his name, but... Wow.”

”That good?” Zorina asked, smirking.

”That good.” Samantha replied. ”I’ve not had contact with him since meeting Savitri and I do truly want us to become family, but I have also not exactly broken things off with that man either. I hope you don’t think less of me or think I am using your son. I just-”

Zorina placed a finger on Samantha’s lip and shook her head. ”You don’t need to explain to me. Truly you don’t. Though can I ask? Have you and Savitri...”

Samantha shook her head. ”No. I won’t lie, I have offered to do a few things once we really built up our connection, but he wants to prove that he really has changed and he won’t admit it to you, but he has said he wants to abstain from that type of action for at least a year, then until we get married. However long that will take.”

Zorina went fly catching with her mouth upon hearing that. She knew her son was, in the past before meeting Samantha at least, a drunken whoremonger. So to hear this change... It was hard to believe, but she trusted Samantha.

”Wow... I don’t think I could even last that long.” Zorina admitted, prompting Samantha to raise an eyebrow, at which point Zorina cleared the air.

”No, I don’t have other partners. I sometimes use my looks or let an important figure cop a feel to make a sale, but no I haven’t slept around. I’ve never had the chance to get close enough to trust someone. I just mostly use my toys and maybe once a year when I don’t find that intolerable prick less intolerable I get the best I can from him. I mostly use some toys.”

Samantha let out a giggle hearing that and nonchalantly commented. ”Is that so? Well, if you ever change your mind, I trust my Archon a great deal. If he is ever in the neighbourhood, I could always see if he is interested?”

”Tut! Samantha you are terrible! I could never! I am too paranoid for that, I would need to know everything about him and more importantly, what he looks like.” Zorina said playfully, though she really wasn’t all that interested.

That was until she saw Samantha suddenly reach between her cleavage in excitement and pull out her communicator.

”What are you doing, dear?” She asked, but a moment later her own communicator chimed. Reaching for it, understanding Samantha had sent something, she picked it up and opened the message. It was an image of a man from the neck down. Nude.

”Oh- Wow... is that thing real?” Zorina said, wide eyed, not even registering the naked Samantha at the side of the picture covered in white fluids.

”Oh yeah. It felt amazing. It tasted amazing. It was amazing. And he is actually more shredded now than he was in that picture.”

Zorina took a few moments ogling the picture of the mystery man before shaking her head. ”You really are terrible. Showing me something like that. I should put you over my knee.”

”Don’t promise me a good time if you don’t intend to keep it.” Samantha said with a wink before the pair suddenly began laughing hysterically.

...

After a few hours and more than a few drinks, the alcohol had long begun to kick in and the duo were enjoying each other’s company before Samantha asked a question.

”Hey-Hic!-Hey... Whats happening with whats her name? Wendy! It’s been a while.”

Zorina then slapped her forehead with her palm. ”Fuck! I totally forgot hahaha! She can suck a fat one, she jeopardised the family’s safety with her shit. Until she shows actual change like my darling Savitri has, she is not worth my time. Enough about her though, I just remembered. You told me your secret, but I didn’t tell you mine!”

Samantha looked confused. ”Yes. Yes you did- Hic! You hugged me hard.”

Zorina leaned across and kissed Samantha on the forehead, the place they decided was neutral ground going forward to express their affection. No Silly! That’s not my power! That’s just me being strong after having the power for so long.

”Oooohhh~ So what is your power? Are you going to tell me or did you just point it out to be-Hic! To be rude and mean.” Samantha questioned with a big pouty face on.

Zorina laughed and pulled away. ”Hmmm~ Maybe I might just do that? Make you really work for it? Nah~ I can’t do that to you. Ok, find me something metal, I’ll show you.”

Samantha reached under her dress and pulled out a switchblade from her thigh, catching Zorina off guard a moment and laughed as she took the knife. ”Wow, we really should have searched you hahaha!”

She then looked at the knife and began to breathe heavily as she focused up and looked at it. Samantha looked on curiously, but just as she felt the Psionics in the room begin to coalesce around the blade, the door to the office barged open.

Looking towards the door, Zorina frowned as Kasimir just stood there and asked. ”Where is Wendy? She was supposed to come back after apologising to you an hour ago. Not that you deserved it.”

Zorina just scoffed, not wanting her mood to be ruined. ”She hasn’t come here, you Zestian looking fuck! Leave. I’m with company I actually care about.” Her Diathaorite accent became heavier after the insult.

A few moments later, the sounds of dozens of feet suddenly could be heard running down the hallway. At which point a group of guards came running in, Lia being at the front. ”Boss!”

”Did you find Wendy?” Kasimir asked, worried.

Lia shook her head. ”No boss, but... The safe. Your safe. It’s been opened... Almost everything is gone.”
