The hivemind is conquering for me?

Savitri looked at the woman who his father had run over to and hugged and felt a knot in his stomach.

’No... Why is she here? I thought she died!’ He couldn’t help thinking as he suddenly felt a hand reach out to him.

”Savitri? Who is that?” Samantha asked, innocently, while Kasimir just hugged the woman gently.

”What are you doing back here Wendy?” Zorina snapped, ”Do you think you can just disappear for months after flooding a section of our home after being confronted about your drug habit? What? Are you out of money and come looking for more? Are you looking for a place to get your next fix? Well it won’t be here. Leave.”

”ZORINA!” Kasimir practically growled out as he hugged his daughter tightly.

Zorina wasn’t intimidated in the slightest. ”No. She weakened the family. She destroyed our home! She became a liability. She is a drug addict, just fucking look at the state she is in. If she was recognised and ransomed. She-”

”-If anyone dared to hurt my little girl, I would flay them and keep them alive in agony for as long as possible.” Kasimir barked back, prompting Zorina to spit on her floor in his direction.

”You hypocrite. Your son made a mistake in the field that cost our family greatly and he is ostracised because of it, but this fuckup makes mistakes constantly, never mind this latest low of hers and you see no wrong? Tonight was supposed to bring you closer to your son, to see how he has changed, but you just don’t want to see it, you prefer to keep the wool over your eyes. You are weak Kasimir.”

”You don’t call me weak, woman! That spawn may be of my loins! But he is not my son! It should have been him that died, not his older brother and our daughter was upset at me. That’s why she lashed out and left. How about you show some compassion? She needs it right now.”

Zorina took several double takes at what Kasimir just said and lost it.

”Are you fucking kidding me! Do you not see how you are acting? You shrivelled prick?!? There is something seriously wrong with you if you don’t understand that right now, that disappointment has done worse to our family than Savitri at his worst and you talk compassion? *Spit* What a joke you are. She needs to be taken out back and put down like the animal she is. I mean, look at her, she reeks of piss and shit. No Cacia should be presenting themselves like that. Ever.”

Kasimir looked ready for murder, but before he could speak, the voice of his pride and joy spoke out, breaking him.

”Daddy? S-Should I leave? I’m sorry. I didn’t... I didn’t...” Wendy began crying as she pulled herself into her fathers embrace. Kasimir instantly scooped her up and turned his back to everyone in the room.

”Of course not, you are home. Come, let’s get you out of those clothes and I’ll have a servant run you a nice bath. We will get through this, my darling.”

Zorina watched as Kasimir left with Wendy and the moment the room turned silent she yelled and threw a metal plate so hard, it went through the reinforced glass window before she stormed off.

Savitri also got up and was about to follow his mother before Samantha stopped him. ”Savitri. I will go to your Mother. You go and be a good big brother and do your duty to the family while your parents are not in the right state of mind. gather the guards, use coercion for those that don’t trust you, use deceit. Just get it done. This small action at this moment will do your prestige a world of good. It will show you care for your sister even now. Even when your father hates you. It will do more good than giving him information I did not tell you to obtain...”

Savitri felt pressure in his mind at the last sentence. He fucked up, but not as bad as he might have guessed. So showing his subservience he bowed and without words, did as his master told him.

Samantha then stood up with a smile on her face. ’This has turned out better than I planned. It must be because I’m doing this for my Apollo~’ The thought left her tingling as she followed the wake of destruction to Zorina.

...

Keyla sat at the table and looked around after everyone was gone.

’Well that was fun. Dinner and even a show! If Apollo was here this would have been a wonderful date! Mmmh~ Almost perfect. A couple of murders and fucking on the corpses. Now that would be perfect... Uh oh...’

Keyla suddenly looked around after turning herself on too much. It had been a few days since she had thought about him like that with her doing a runner. She then got up and ran off to find a supply cupboard or somewhere where she could relieve her Apollo love in private.

Though just as she got up, the servants came back in to clean up the mess. Upon noticing her, an older gentleman then approached her and bowed.

”Apologies, my lady. We didn’t know anyone was still present. Would you still care for desert? It is a pie made with the Twaupo fruit with a side of ice cream. Outside of Diathama, you will not be able to find it elsewhere but here.”

The sound of that cooled her jets slightly and she ultimately nodded her head.

”Sure, that sounds really good. But might I make a request? Do you perhaps have a guest room where I could eat it in private? I am not sure how long I am staying here for and I could do with some privacy for a short while.”

...

Samantha found Zorina back in her office sitting in her chair, her head firmly planted against the table. Samantha spotted a glass on her desk with a liquid inside she could recognise from the scent alone and it made her smile in satisfaction.

She then put on her ’worried’ face and knocked on the door. ”Zorina? Are you here?”

Zorina looked up and instead of continuing to be rageful, she looked at Samantha with shame as she rose to her feet and briskly walked over to her.

”Oh Samantha, I am so sorry you had to see all of that? Are you ok, my dear?”

Samantha extended her arms out for a hug as Zorina approached and once they hugged, she asked. ”Are you sure you should be asking me that? I think it should be the other way around. Are you ok Zorina?”

Zorina shook her head. ”No, I am the host. You shouldn’t have had to see that. I know you are a grown woman who can take care of herself, especially since I know some details about your background, but I just didn’t want to make you scared. I don’t want you to think less of me after all that. I care about you.”

Samantha smiled and pulled back from the hug to kiss Zorina on the forehead before whispering. ”I appreciate that you didn’t want to scare me. I do. And I care about you... So much so that I am going to tell you a secret about myself.”

Zorina pulled back and looked at Samantha in the eyes, a serious vulnerability was currently within them that she hadn’t seen before, it made her heart flutter.

”What is it?”

Samantha took a deep breath. ”look, this isn’t something I tell everyone. Even Keyla doesn’t know, she thinks she has leverage over me because of her power, but she doesn’t... I am also Psionically gifted.”

Zorina’s eyes went back as she pulled back slightly, though still in the hug. ”You are?” She asked, baffled, prompting Samantha to nod her head shyly.

”Yes... It’s nothing powerful, I have enhanced strength and durability but that’s not all, I can’t really die from normal attacks. Sure I think If I was blown to smithereens, I would, I haven’t tested it. But what I do know is that you can stab me, shoot me the works. dozens, hundreds of times and I just bleed, but I just don’t die.”

”Oh honey!” Zorina exclaimed with sadness and hugged Samantha tighter than she did before, with a strength that would kill a flimsy regular human. Samantha gasped at the strength, though not in pain, prompting Zorina to nod her head.

”Yes... I know what you are thinking. I am enhanced as well. No one knows. Our business partners or any of my other friends. Most of the family don’t even know. Just Kasimir and our children.”

”Why have you told me, Zorina? I’m not even part of your family yet and-”

”-Nonsense! You aren’t part of the Cacia family. But you are part of my family. I’ve never felt such a connection to someone like I have you, my Samantha. I feel like you complete me in a way no one ever has. Now forgive me and may my son forgive me for what I am about to do, but I need to know.”

Samantha looked confused as Zorina pulled away from the hug once more, but a second later she felt a pair of lips press against her own and her eyes went wide in shock...

As though she had not planned for this...
