The hivemind is conquering for me?

Lia looked down at the woman in front of her and just laughed.

”Hahaha! Are you for real pipsqueak? Watch your tongue before I put you in timeout.”

”Watch your tone before I put you in the ground.” Keyla replied back and before Zorina had a chance to reprimand one of her staff, Lia punched out at a guest.

The large woman’s fist connected with the side of Keyla’s head. She expected to see the small woman go flying, but instead it sounded like Lia connected with Metal as a horrific clunking noise was heard.

Keyla rubbed the side of her head and checked her hand for blood, at not seeing any she frowned. ”Really? You act that tough and can’t even back it up? Let me show you how to actually punch.

*WAPOW!*

Keyla punched out hard and fast. She couldn’t reach the woman’s face so she went for a gut shot. A moment later Lia keeled over and threw up.

”Ugh! It’s all over my floor! Leo, find someone and have them clean this up.” Zorina exclaimed before turning to Lia and shaking her head.

”I don’t know what has gotten into your head, assaulting our guests, but if you do it again, I will put a bullet between your eyes. Do you understand?”

Lia just nodded as she held her torso, prompting Zorina to shake her head.

”When you can stand, take yourself to the infirmary, we shall make our way to the dining room now.”

Once out of the room, Zorina turned to Keyla and asked. ”Are you alright dear? I offer you my deepest apologies for the way my staff acted.”

Keyla shrugged her shoulders. ”Meh, It’s fine. I am used to training with stronger people so her little love tap was nothing. In fact, it was fun so I hold no ill will. Though I am hungry now, it’s like I haven’t eaten yet today...”

...

The group made their way to the dining room, the lavishness of the room was even grander than the rest of the house at this point. ”I fear if I stop squinting I will go blind.” Keyla muttered after having a look around, prompting Zorina to laugh.

”Yes, Sorry about that. When you make as much money as we do, you need to spend it on things and spend a lot to clean it up. I won’t bother you with-”

Suddenly the doors of the dining room were pushed open, almost simultaneously as a crash of thunder exploded outside.

In the doorway was a man who appeared to be in his early fifties with silver hair and a full beard. He looked around the room, his amber eyes talking every detail of the individuals present. His gaze lingered upon each guest before turning to Savitri and grimacing before finally turning to Zorina and asking.

”Which of the women is Samantha?”

”Kasimir, this one here is Samantha.” Zorina said, wrapping her arm around Samantha’s.

Kasimir looked Samantha up and down with a deep appraisal before grunting.

”You can do better than the piece of shit I have to call my son, I can tell you that. But it’s your life, ruin it how you want.” He spoke coldly before walking into the room and taking a seat at the head of the table.

”Well? Sit down. The quicker we are served and eaten the sooner this can be over.”

Zorina looked like she wanted to boil over in rage, but a simple squeeze on her hand from Samantha calmed her down.

Everyone then took their seat. Samantha sat next to Savitri while Keyla sat on the other side of the table and Zorina took the other head.

A few moments later a series of servants entered the room holding silver platters while another walked up to Kasimir and whispered something into his ear, prompting him to frown.

No words were spoken for the first meal, the tension in the air was heavy. That was until after the servants took the platters away once more then Kasimir spoke, turning towards Keyla.

”So. Who do you think you are? Coming into my house and assaulting one of my guards?”

Everyone turned to Keyla, all for their own reasons while she just picked up a piece of table bread and munched on it for a few moments before turning to Kasimir. ”The bitch was off her leash. She tried to bite me so I disciplined her. Plus, if you have weak ass guards that’s on you, not me. Oh, I’m Keyla by the way, if that was the only thing you meant by that question.”

The tension grew even greater for a few moments as Kasimir just stared at Keyla.

Zorina felt like she should speak up, but Kasimir then finally spoke.

”Mmmh, fair enough. She was supposed to see if anyone was dangerous. I suppose she did her job, even when she failed- Oh Zorina, we have a meal with Archon Lamon and his new wife next week. Wear something revealing, you know how he gets sloppy when you are present. I might be able to get something out of him if you do.”

His changing of conversation topic mid way proved he really didn’t care one of the guards were injured prompting Zorina to just reply. ”Yes dear, of course.”

Zorina then looked at Samantha apologetically, but the sweetheart was still all smiles. Not bothered by her twat of a husband. Her eyes then turned to her son who must have seen her looking for a way to find something to speak about so he did.

”So, dad. I was wondering if you heard about-”

”-Next dish!” Kasimir roared and instantly a group of servants entered the room. The plates were placed down and then the room was hastily evacuated once more.

”Ooh~ This looks yummers!” Keyla clapped excitedly as she instantly cut into the large juicy steak in front of her. ”Mmhhh~ A good rare steak is the best.” She said and cut off another piece.

”Agreed.” Kasimir spoke before also eating.

The sound of eating was all that could be heard for a few moments before Zorina attempted to make conversation again.

”So, Kasimir, Samantha has quite a few business ventures to accommodate her other hustles, like what we do, one of those is a wonderful liqueur that I think will be wonderful for us to invest in. It tastes really good.”

Kasimir looked up from his plate and looked at Samantha. ”What’s the percentage?”

”About 25% Though it is-”

”Too low, feminine drink. You can invest if you want Zorina, but with your own funds.”

Zorina then looked over at Samantha who looked upset and wanted to give her husband a serious piece of her mind, but he spoke up again.

”So, Keyla. How long have you been in the business? You might have a small stature, but I know a professional killer when I see one.”

Keyla giggled. ”Oh, you big flirt. Your wife is right there. I started when I was a kid. Just been from one job to another ever since. I’m good at it so I’ve profited immensely. Though not to your calibre. Your house is nice.”

”Mmh.” Kasimir simply grunted.

Savitri looked at each person present at the table. He didn’t know what to do, this wasn’t going well. It didn’t help that his master had sealed off her link so he didn’t know if she was actually sad or not.

And his mother looked ready for war.

He looked at his father. He used to be scared of the man. Cripplingly scared, but so desperate to please him. He understood why his father hated him so much, a man who couldn’t take responsibility for his actions after fucking up so bad? He also hated the person he was. The life he has now was infinitely better.

Giving his master another glance, he would try and do something to at least improve his fathers mood, for her. And was ready for punishment if he fucked up.

Reaching into his pocket, he noticed his mother glance suspiciously for a moment before relaxing as he pulled out a piece of folded paper and passed it to his father who was still eating, not even bothering to look.

”I found out the planet the Sharktooths have set up their base on. I also found three leaks in our security. I think-”

”-You probably fucked up and got it wrong and now we have more than three leaks. Excuse me everyone, I have to go and deal with this now, enjoy dessert on your own.” Kasimir said standing up, not even glancing at the paper, prompting Zorina to slam the table so hard her end broke.

”OI! Don’t you take another fucking step! Your son and my future daughter in law came here tonight to have a family dinner and you have been a cunt the entire time. Sit back down and engage before I kick your ass!”

Kasimir and Zorina suddenly made eye contact and non verbally both got prepared for a fight. However, before either could make the next move.

*SLAM!*

The door to the dining room slammed open, prompting both individuals to yell

”GET OUT!” Without looking at who was there.

”D-Daddy?” A sniffling female voice was suddenly heard and Kasimir instantly disengaged as he turned towards the door, so did everyone else.

In the door was a young woman, soaked through, tears pouring from her eyes as she continued to sniffle.

Kasimir looked like his heart had just flooded with relief and ran over to the woman while yelling.

”Wendy!”
