The hivemind is conquering for me?

I felt a warmth permeate through my chest at Gabrielle’s words, they felt good to hear, but. ”I appreciate your sentiment Gabrielle, truly. But I was never forced to train or anything like that. All my actions in my life are my own choosing. I might seem pretty laid back in general, but that is only because I am always doing what I want to be doing. Trust me, if someone got in my way or tried to ruin my happiness... No more Mister nice Apollo.”

I naturally didn’t tack on the fact that I had already gone through a childhood before so I didn’t really miss out. Even with this one I had bouts of hormone filled shenanigans where I did play, so it wasn’t all serious training.

Gabrielle nodded her head hearing what I said. ”Good. Remember that going forward. You have been lucky so far in the core worlds, meeting the truly good. But it’s inevitable you are going to run into some schmucks. You need to be willing to defend yourself through multiple means when the time comes.”

Nodding along, I added on. ”Yeah, Kathrine told me something similar and how assassins are everywhere. I have yet to see any though, so until that happens, I-” ”-Oh, has Kathrine not told you? That’s surprising, I thought you two were quite close.”

”Told me what?” Gabrielle flinched at my tone that dropped all emotion in a moment due to the topic of current conversation. She shuddered, and not out of fear before gulping back her emotions.

”K-Kathrine has told me she has had four assassination attempts on her minimum since the two of you became... acquainted. And that was a few months ago, it could be many more now.”

...

”Apollo, are you ok?” Gabrielle asked, placing her hand on my shoulder. I shook my head, my voice remaining cold with a trace of shocked amusement. ”Yes, forgive me, my ears have suddenly started ringing. I swore you just said someone has attempted to assassinate MY Kathrine? Please tell me I heard you wrong...” I requested, unknowingly using Psionics to amplify my voice.

”...”

The silence following my question spoke louder than any words and something within me snapped. Smiling politely, I pulled Gabrielle into a hug and spoke softly into her ear. ”Forgive me, I cannot walk you the rest of the way home, I have something to attend to. Good night. And thank you for bringing this to my attention.”

”Y-Your welcome?” Gabrielle said unsure, she had quasi lost the ability to think, her son smelt amazing while manhandling her... It was a lot of stimuli at an unexpected moment. Especially the hand caressing her lower back... It was electric!

It didn’t last long though as he began jogging away. Gabrielle then recalled what just happened and hoped deeply that she hadn’t just upset her son into doing something drastic... That would be bad parenting, even by her already terrible standards...

...

After walking back into the house, Orchid immediately stood up from the couch, feeling my sour mood. Due to some outside factors this time, she decided to attempt to ask what was wrong, but I responded to her, knowing her better than I know myself.

”Wait down here for a bit. I need to check something. Both of you.” I then turned to Janine, who then asked, unlike Orchid who obediently sat back down. ”Is everything ok?” I shook my head. ”I certainly hope so, but I will be finding out pretty soon.” Was all I said before walking up to my room and practically tugging on Kathrine’s link as the door slammed behind me.

...

Kathrine was drinking heavily, being paraded around on a palanquin when she suddenly felt the closest thing to a physical demand Apollo had ever asked of her. ”Talia, hold my drinkie, my condition is acting up. Keep Gavara off me while I’m under.”

Without waiting for a response, Kathrine closed her eyes and fell asleep and travelled down the link, her avatar leaving her Physical body as it did. As she travelled, she felt a deep anger coming from Apollo. Startling her.

The anger was not at her in the slightest, but Apollo’s anger was something she had not truly experienced. It left her incredibly anxious. ’Has something happened to a hive member?’ She couldn’t think of anything else that would leave him so irate.

As she arrived in her paradise, her ’surroundings’ brought with her, she sat on the palanquin confused by the lack of tranquil feeling. The Mindspace felt... Turbulent. An avatar suddenly appeared in front of her and she began. ”Apollo, what’s wrong? Is someone in trouble?”

Her questions were responded to with Apollo’s own steely toned questions. ”Have you had assassination attempts on you since we have met?”

Kathrine nodded her head casually. ”Yes. About Six- Oh wait, someone tried to assassinate me yesterday as well, seven times in ten months... They have been slacking this year honestly... Wait. Is that what has made you so angry? Oh Apollo~ Aren’t you sweet, getting all worked up for me. Come here darling~”

Kathrine stood up and hugged her big teddy bear. She felt a deep love travelling between the two of them. Apollo had opened himself up to her. He was furious after learning this, she had forgotten to tell him as, honestly, it wasn’t news, it was just part of her life... Something she has dealt with since she was barely out of the womb.

She felt sickly sweet as well. She thought Something with the Hive had gotten him so worked up, but it was over her? She was beyond flattered. However, that quickly turned into concern after he asked.

”Who?”

”Oh, don’t worry yourself Apollo. Most were just low lives trying to make names for themselves. It comes with the territory. You should let it go and let me worry about-”

”Who.”

Kathrine gulped as she felt herself get wet. Her master wasn’t asking a question, he was demanding names. ’So fucking hot...’ She gulped back. He wasn’t using his master link over her to force her into speaking, even in his cold anger, but he definitely wouldn’t take her saying. ’Let it go’ again.

”*Sigh* You are too hot like this, you should try this aggression in some roleplay darling~ Hehe. *Ahem* Sorry. I don’t know five of them, but the two I do know are rival nobles An Archon, Axel Belnevis. He is in charge of a core world planet not in the Ecumenopolis and the other is a Lochagos in the army. Cora Pyrmenocles. I’m not sure why she targeted me, I still have my team working on that one, but she is well and truly locked into power. It’s tough getting dirt on her.”

...

”Axel Belnevis. Cora Pyrmenocels... Thank you sweetie.” I then gave Kathrine a kiss on the forehead. Followed by multiple upon her lips. Passion burned bright within me currently and some it needed expelling. I pulled away for a ’Breath’ and Kathrine used that opportunity to use the last of her willpower to put her hand over her own lips.

”Apollo. I’m at a party, we need to stop before I ruin my dress... And what do you plan to do with the names I gave you?” I looked down at my sweet... MY sweet Kathrine and resisted the urge to forgo her request and ravish her this moment, but my thoughts were taken elsewhere.

”You just enjoy the rest of your party, my love. It’s getting late here, I’ll be going to sleep soon. It is a big day tomorrow.” Kathrine bit her lips, part stifling her lust and part concern. ”Apollo, If you need anything. Anything, I will drop my plans and come to you. Ok? I love you.”

I inhaled deeply, bringing my hand up to her cheek and cherished the feeling as she caressed up against my hand. ”Naturally. I love you too.”

Kathrine then resumed her position of her outlined body and shortly disappeared from my Mindspace. I felt sets of eyes looking upon me from around the Mindspace, none seemed bothered by my actions, so I proceeded.

Walking to my cupboard, I picked up my Communicator once again and dialled.

...

” I can’t push her further tonight mama. There is a fine balance to my craft. Leave her alone for a couple of days before we start the brainwashing.” Sophia nodded as she poured herself a drink in her boothe, Taking Keyla’s words to heart.

”Very well, that is what I will do then. As for you, I-” Her words were suddenly cut off and her eyes went wide as between Her and Keyla, the special communicator began chiming again. Sophia moved like lightning and answered the communicator. It was only an audio communication this time, but she wouldn’t take that for granted.

”Apollo! Twice in the same day! What do I owe the... Keyla? Sure, she is with me... Can I ask why- Ok, I’ll put her on.”

Sophia then passed the communicator without fuss, She sensed something wrong with her mate.

Keyla then smugly took the communicator and opened with. ”Heya hotstuff, You call for some phone sex? Hold on, I can use a bottle as a dildo if you want and-”

”Keyla.”

A shiver went up Keyla’s spine at Apollo’s authoritative tone. She never heard that tone before. It was so hot... ”Yes, my king?” She blurted out instinctively, prompting Sophia to raise an eyebrow. Keyla didn’t care though as what she heard next almost made her ruin her panties.

”I’m bringing the butcher out of retirement...”
