The hivemind is conquering for me?

Sigfried looked at the back of Orchid as she walked away. His cheeks felt hot and his heart was pounding. It had been years since he was so utterly humiliated like today. But why did he like the way his new battle partner loomed over him?

However, he brushed the thought aside quickly and rose to his feet. What she just said to him left him curious. ’Foresight? I might need to check the library to see what she means by that.’ Siegfried’s battle intent allowed him to read all his opponents moves and the moves they were thinking of making all at once, but he could only read a few seconds ahead. Which was usually more than enough in a regular fight.

He then stood up and brushed himself down before wincing. That kick was something serious. He watched as the woman, Orchid, returned to Apollo’s side before calling out. ”Franny, can you give me a hand?”

Francesca ran over, having just been treated and placed her hand against Sigfried’s chest. A bubble of water coated her hand and the damaged area for a short while, before the final spar was called out.

...

I was pulled out of watching the healing Psionics and didn’t get a proper look. Nerissa using her life force on me the other day had me intrigued about it, but it wasn’t something I would actively pursue, I already have an incredible healing factor and damaged bones and such a good old nest pod can speed up the recovery if needed.

That and the fact I really need to stop adding things to my plate. I could eat a bunch, but it slowed me down from progressing elsewhere.

Walking over to the clearing, Tamara and I stood apart from one another. She had a scowl on her face while I just smiled at her. I was pretty much in top form again. Breathing in Jewel’s abundance of Psionics constantly since I was a baby has basically turned me into a Psionic energy sponge. I recover my energy and reserves at a shocking rate. plus my stamina recovery was also immense, I couldn’t go for days of intimacy otherwise...

Tamara also looked confident, with her scowl ever present, her back was straight and she was looking up at me with condemnation. This was quite the Psychological tactic on her part and it was slightly working. I had put on more of a show than I was planning today, so for the woman to still look at me that way meant she was either overconfident or she knew how strong she was.

She was strong, but she was clearly weak in one aspect as she declared. ” When the fight starts, I think I’ll let you have the opening move. As once you touch me, you die.”

I looked at the woman in stunned silence for a moment before shrugging my shoulders. ”Ok.”

Thanks to her declaration I was now going to win easily. I looked over to Valerica and nodded. Valerica smiled back and then stated. ”Ok first one on their back in three, two, one. go!”

...

A moment of Deja vu occurred as the two fighters just stood there for a minute. After said minute, Tamara had a big frown on her face and taunted. ”What? Big boy too scared to make the first move? What? Are you a pussy? Come on! Hit me. Do something. Pussy.”

I just stood there and yawned. This was quite taxing, she was weaker than me, sure, but she still had some Psionics in her body and I had to make it gradual so she wouldn’t notice till it was too late.

After another minute, Tamara was sweating and bored and began fanning herself. ”Come on Dick cheese, its fucking boiling out, come and hit me already. I’m a woman of my word, I promise, first attack goes to you.”

The peanut gallery, already bored from the last fight, also chimed in. ”Come on!” ”Do something!” ”Attack her! ”USE YOUR FIRE! USE YOUR FIRE! TURN HER TO ASH!”

I then spoke calmly while staring directly at Tamara. ”I made my first move minutes ago, it’s her fault for not realising she was under attack until right~~~ now.”

...

Tamara felt like Twenty tonnes was just dropped on her entire body, she began sweating profusely. She tried to move, but was stuck in place, she tried to enter her rage, but the weight almost doubled again in a moment and she collapsed to her knees. A moment later she felt even more weight and she fell to her back, gasping for air.”

She gasped deeply once she felt the weight alleviate, she felt her body on the verge of collapse at that moment. ’What the shit was that?’ She thought before hearing a ’smug’ voice coming from her side.

”I didn’t touch you, now you can’t murder me, right?” I asked with a smile. It had been a good while since I used my Gyrokinesis to its full potential. Against Nerissa, not only was her axe a Psionic absorbing material, her entire being was of a higher quality of psionics than I was currently incapable of using.

A similar occurrence with Valerica. Her body was so physically strong and imbued with Psionics thanks to her techniques, I could only partially change her weight while completely expelling myself, but this woman? Tamara. She was strong, but Psionically quite weak, as such my ability to overwhelm her surroundings with Gyrokinesis was almost trivial.

’Her instincts are way off too. Even the chonk’s catalyst was able to tell it was under attack and was forced to engage me, but not ol’ pink hair here...’ Still, I was satisfied. My Gyrokinesis got a win under its belt for the first time in a while against a strong opponent and was even more satisfied now the tests were all done.

Valerica confirmed this after Tamara was checked out by the medical staff. ”Ok everyone. I will be pulling you back here throughout the next few months. Sometimes as a group, sometimes in your pairings. Losers of today’s spar, I want you to think about what caused you to lose and how you can counter that in the future. Winners, don’t get cocky. There is a chance your partner was overconfident, being the strongest Psionic wielder, or greatest body of their respective planet might have built up their ego a little too much, not realising they aren’t actually all that special. They won’t make that mistake again. Continue training. Dismissed.”

...

Everyone began dispersing, Sigfried, looked at his new partner and smiled. ”I look forward to working with you going forward Orchid, you really had my number just then and, oh...” Sigfried realised he was being completely ignored as Orchid was walking away back to Apollo.

He watched her for a moment and how her face instantly turned into a most wonderful smile upon being spoken to by her brother... He felt a warmth within his chest for a moment before his attention was grabbed away by his four companions

...

”Apollo! What did you do to the pink one?” Lena asked as she approached me. ”Oh, I si-” I began to explain before being cut off. ”-Cool, cool. Do you want to go and get cookies? I’m starving and I cannot think of anything but cookies right now. You wanna go and get cookies?”

I was going to decline her offer politely, I already had a meal plan waiting for me at home, but I then realised something... I glanced at Orchids breasts in thought for a moment. ’Hmmm. Cookies and cream...’

Orchid began squirming, she put together exactly what I was thinking by reading my micromovements and was getting incredibly excited. ’Two times in one day?!? Orchid is the luckiest bioform in existence!’

”Sure, I could go for some cookies, I’ll get some for Janine too. She will appreciate the gesture.” I said and Lena’s red eyes practically glowed with excitement! ”Yes! Fucking yes! My guy right here! Who is Janine by the by? Is she your girlfriend?~” Lena asked in a teasing voice.

I was about to come out and say ’I’d be so lucky.’ But I remembered the roles we were playing and said instead. ”No, Janine is my Sepiida. She is a bit under the weather so some cookies will be a nice thing to get her.”

Lena’s eyes went wide in surprise hearing that. ”A Sepiida? Woah... Never actually spoken to one. I sort of have some... Past trauma with aliens and stuff, I tend to keep my distance from them... But~ I suppose if she is fucking my bezzie, I best learn to get along with her huh?”

Lena then turned and looked away, tugging on my shirt. ”Come on, Millie’s cookies are about a twenty minute walk from here. Don’t know how she awoke the ability to make food with Psionics, but oh my days! I’ve only been here six days and I have had so many.. I am going to get so fat during my time here I’m telling you, they are to die for!”
