Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill

Chapter 886: The Training Arc

Passing through the portal, Onest found himself standing in an endless field, with tiny grass growing sparsely across the barren landscape.

It almost appeared like an enormous football stadium, devoid of spectators and life.

”This will be your training area for the next 400 months.” Suddenly a voice sounded from behind Onest, echoing across the empty expanse.

Upon turning, he found that it was the crying monk, hadn’t he gone with Shitless? His sudden appearance was jarring.

But that wasn’t important, frowning he asked: ”400? The time here flows differently from the outside?” His mind was already racing with the implications.

”Exactly” crying monk nodded, then started explaining: ”Your status will soon rise to level 10 demi god, but those gods are very strong, so I will do my best to increase your strength as much as possible.”

There was a heaviness to his words, an understanding of the burden ahead.

”Uh Okay, so what are we going to do? Do we spar? What about that God’s mana?” Onest questioned, taking a step back, crying monk now looked far more serious than before, his demeanor shifting entirely.

”Right, the god’s mana is the key. It holds a high value, not just energy, but experience, skills and more, making it merge with you will be tough but doable.”

Crying monk stared at Onest intently, as if he can see through all his secrets and skills, penetrating layers of his being.

”...”

In the next moment, crying monk gently tapped the ground with the staff, illuminating the whole place with radiant light. His body disappeared in a shimmer.

Then the place was filled with dust and loud roars, startling Onest, who looked around frantically and soon saw a lineup of infinite bulls, each twice as big as normal bulls, their forms imposing and terrifying.

It was like an army, standing in formation, line after line, a sea of horns and muscle. Crying monk was seated on the first one, observing from his elevated position.

”What is this?” Onest froze, his breath catching in his throat. The energies emanating from those bulls was so high, as if they were all level 10 demi gods, far beyond his current comprehension.

How can this be?

”This is the best way to hone yourself, try to dodge. Whether you get hit or not, the god’s mana will boil and rebuild you, do you best!” Crying monk shouted as all the bulls roared in unison, a deafening sound that shook the very ground.

They thumped the earth before surging forward, engulfing everything in sight with relentless momentum.

Onest’s heart skipped a beat, at his fullest speed he started running in the opposite direction, desperation driving his movements. But it was useless. He couldn’t match the speed of those bulls, they were closing in rapidly.

In the next moment, he felt the large and sharp horns of the bulls hit his back with crushing force, throwing him into the sky.

The attack didn’t injure Onest much but there was still some pain, sharp and immediate.

He did his best to dodge, weaving between attacks desperately, but soon he was engulfed by the bulls, sometimes getting stomped, bit and what not. His body took blow after blow.

At the same time, the god’s mana in his body started to rage over, violently climbing all over his body like wildfire, burning and healing simultaneously. Just like that, Onest’s 400 months long torture began in earnest.

...

Another clone of the crying monk appeared in a land that was filled with countless colours, a dance of aurora lighting up the realm. The light seemed alive, shifting and pulsing with ancient power.

There was no land, air, or even space, just a mix of infinite elements, all of it could be found in the light that seemed to be devouring everything around it, hungry and consuming.

This was the training area for Yennefer, mainly because of her very special physique, which can encompass all elements with unique harmony.

Although not as special as the titans, this physique was also extremely unique and powerful, ranked high among the rarest of abilities. While also very difficult to master and control.

Almost all those who possessed this physique in the history were assimilated into the very world, disappearing without a trace and died, lost to the very power they tried to wield.

Yennefer had started to experiencing the beginning of that phenomenon not long ago, suddenly her body transforming into a random element without warning. So, it was both a treasure and a time bomb ticking within her very essence.

And that was crying monk’s goal for Yennefer, using the god’s mana to unlock full potential of her body and let her have complete control over it, to master what had destroyed others before her.

The gods wouldn’t be able to do anything if she really managed to do that. This wouldn’t be easy and was far more dangerous than what Onest was going through, the stakes far higher.

Her body, mind and soul all merged into the light with infinite colours and elements, violent waves of energy expanding outward in destructive arcs.

The time limit for her was even more dramatic than Onest, demanding absolute focus and will, and thus the challenge dancing over life and death began without mercy.

...

In a completely different realm, Fiona stood against an infinite number of beings whose body was burning with red flames, their forms wreathed in crimson fire.

Each of those opponents were incredibly powerful that she cannot defeat them individually, overwhelming in their sheer numbers and strength.

Plus they were also able to use the undying mythic halo, making them nigh impossible to kill permanently.

Her challenge was to break them all and the time would stretch until she does it, no mercy or shortcuts offered.

Of course her life would always be protected by the training structure, but the challenge was still terrifyingly difficult and dangerous to face.

As she clashed with the opponents repeatedly, the god’s mana surged all over her body in violent spirals.

The undying mythic halo burst out with every exchange of attacks, creating brilliant displays of power.

But for every attack she delivered, Fiona was attacked at immense speed over 100 times, the overwhelming assault forcing her to push beyond her limits.

Crying monk stood far away and observed her battle style intently, this will improve her in a lot of fields and aspects.

Fiona thus entangled in a brutal battle without end.

...

Contrary to them, vanessa was sitting on a platform, the place completely peaceful and serene, a stark contrast to the chaos elsewhere.

The god’s mana like an enormous planet floating above her head, glowing with soft luminescence.

She appeared extremely tiny before it, dwarfed by its magnitude. The platform cracked and reformed under the pressure of the mana, struggling to maintain integrity.

As a succubus, her battle style was completely different from the others, her approach unique. She doesn’t need to engage in a bloody battle like Fiona or others. She needed to hone things like her soul, mental fortitude and more, deeper aspects of her being.

A cloth floated around her body, extracting mana as it continued to merge with her body, rapidly increasing her strength at a steady pace.

Although not as painful as the others, but it made her feel so full as if about to explode before she quickly channelled and absorbed it all in controlled waves. Before the cloth extracted more energy relentlessly.

Her defences were quickly rising with each absorption, even her charms were rising at a visible rate before her eyes. Her beauty becoming more and more enchanting and radiant, while her mana reserves already looking like a surging sea, flooding over every moment without rest.

With her own challenges, vanessa continued on her own path forward.

...

Similarly to Fiona, Yasmine was also experiencing a great battle, her draconic nature demanding constant combat.

She still needed to absorb and assimilate the Sun mythic halo with its burning power.

Thus similarly and also differently to vanessa, two large orbs of energy were revolving above her head, orbiting like celestial bodies.

As the fight continued relentlessly, her body continued to grow stronger, absorbing both energies in tandem. She then turned into her draconic form, scales shimmering, going completely wild and absorbing the energies even faster with primal hunger.

The crying monk, being considerate towards her had made it such that time will move in a way that even if many many years pass here, time for Yasmine personally would move extremely slowly, stretched and gentle.

After all she is pregnant, so even if she stay years here, it would barely be a month or two at most for her child.

And thus, without worrying about her unborn child Yasmine also started training with full commitment.

...

Maeve, being a demonic fox and controller of darkness was growing in a different direction from others, her path unique. Her speciality lay in hidden attacks and quickly killing enemies with precision strikes. Thus the main focus of her training was not just increasing her defences or raw power.

Instead it was mainly increasing her agility, reaction speed, merging and controlling the darkness better and more intimately.

She was present in a dark space with nothing around, yet enemies darker than darkness present everywhere surrounding her.

Each one she defeated would bring her countless insights, and new skills to master.

Her path was of an overpowered assassin or rather far more than that, something transcendent.

...

Teresa’s path was different from all others distinctly, her main strength lay in her brain and intellect. So the crying monk had brought her into an inventory where she can find almost any object that could be found in the countless galaxies, precious and worthless alike.

All the great and small inventions from different places, opening new horizons for her mind to explore. While the mana would slowly merge, it would increase her physical capabilities to support her fighting style, especially her mana pool and reserves.

While she could focus on creating treasures on power levels of the higher beings, though that would need more time and resources. So for now on the level of the gods, which was challenge enough.

...

Diana was currently submerged in the tomb of the gods, surrounded by ancient power. The god’s mana had already merged with her body easily, it was too compatible with her and needed only a few days, unlike the others who struggled.

Her status rose quickly, her strength already far higher than others at this moment in the training grounds.

But her hurdle now was to defeat all the gods in the tomb of gods, completely absorb their divine abilities, their status, their profound natures and more.

Although the absorption of god’s mana was too easy for her naturally, her current challenge was just as tough and demanding.

And just like that, she completely focussed on her tasks ahead.
