Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill

Chapter 854: The Rewards and Punishments

Petonil didn’t know what to say as the Asura patted his shoulder, giving him a look of pity.

After speaking, the Asura turned and bowed deeply to Evelyn.

”Please forgive me, Miss Vespera. I didn’t know this fool had offended you, or I would have never come here. As an apology, how about I cut off his head?” the Asura asked, his voice very docile.

’W- What the fuck?! I called you for help, and you want to take my wife and cut my head off?!’ Petonil was going crazy.

”There is no need for that.”

Evelyn had just finished speaking when the remaining five portals finally opened, and five higher beings walked out.

”Oh, he called you guys too? Haha, I wonder what Advocate Petonil has done to need all of our help.” the oldest among the five higher beings spoke, his hands clasped behind his back.

Finally, they scanned the courtroom and saw Evelyn.

Quickly, all five of them landed and bowed even more deeply toward her.

”Miss Vespera, we greet you. Sorry for causing this sudden disturbance. Please tell us your orders, and we will leave immediately if you wish.”

They all looked like servants before her, surprise and awkwardness evident on their faces.

”Uh... I was the one who called you all here.” Petonil really didn’t know what to say.

”Oh, Petonil, wait a minute. We first need Miss Vespera’s permission before helping you.” the oldest said.

Petonil’s lips stretched into a thin line.

He was done for.

His backup was made up of his enemy’s servants?

Did he still have a chance?

He was finished.

Petonil trembled.

Why?

Why did he have to do that?

”Sure, you can help him with whatever.” Evelyn shrugged.

”Thank you.”

After bowing, they turned to Petonil and asked,

”So, what help do you need?”

”Uh... I need you to help me persuade Miss Vespera-”

Before he had even finished speaking, the five men immediately understood that his dispute was with Evelyn.

Every single one of them looked at him with pity.

One by one, they patted his shoulder.

Then they bowed toward Evelyn, asking for her forgiveness just like the Asura had done earlier while denying having any relationship with that fool.

Soon, all six of them were gone.

They fled so quickly that it looked as though Petonil was carrying some deadly plague.

And just like that... ten minutes passed.

SLASH

With just a thought from Evelyn, a blade of mental energy materialized, even becoming completely solid.

It shot through the air, passed by Petonil, and vanished just as smoothly.

Everything happened in an instant.

A moment later, both of Petonil’s arms fell to the ground with faint thuds, followed by two sprays of blood shooting into the air.

”AHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHH!!”

”And hereby, I declare that this case has ended.”

”AHHHHH! AHHHHHH!!”

”As neither side has any further objections to my judgment, we shall now proceed with the punishments and compensations.”

”AHHH! AHHH!!”

”Tch. Silence him.”

Hearing the annoyance in Evelyn’s voice, the gods quickly stuffed a piece of cloth into Petonil’s mouth and dragged him away.

Leaving behind a long trail of blood.

The gods were just as furious and helpless as Petonil.

Of course they didn’t agree with their punishment.

Were they really supposed to hand over twenty-five percent of their mana?

That was nearly a quarter of the strength they had accumulated ever since becoming gods.

They had been gods for an unimaginably long time, and twenty-five percent amounted to an enormous loss.

Not to mention giving away a Mythic Halo.

That was a supreme treasure, something capable of continuously growing stronger.

Take the First Mythic Halo for example.

It was already so powerful that even the higher beings were wary of it.

Divine had obtained it, and that Mythic Halo was one of the main reasons everyone had united to get rid of him.

At first, those proud higher beings hadn’t taken him seriously.

But after witnessing his abilities, his monstrous growth rate, and the way he perfectly wielded the Creation Mythic Halo...

All of them had no choice but to unite, using every method they could think of before finally managing to subdue him.

Although Divine wasn’t killed and was merely sealed away, one could easily understand just how precious these Mythic Halos truly were.

Now some might wonder, why don’t the higher beings simply take them for themselves?

Because all of the Mythic Halos are currently still in their nurturing stage.

Once they mature enough, the higher beings will reclaim them.

That was why they were so unwilling to part with such a powerful Mythic Halo.

After all, The Sun had belonged to the Sun God.

This compensation was simply too severe.

But they had no choice.

Having announced her judgment, Evelyn stood up and, after glancing at Vritra one last time with longing in her eyes, turned and walked away.

Vritra watched Evelyn until she disappeared from sight before finally turning toward the gods.

”I remember someone saying something earlier... about me begging or something. So, how does it feel now?” he asked.

”Hah, don’t celebrate too early. We may have suffered a loss, but your punishment... don’t think you’ll make it out alive. Six months in Hell Prison is a pure death sentence. You won’t get to use any of those rewards anyway.” the burly god retorted.

At least that fact made them feel slightly better.

Their punishment was terrible.

But at least they would survive.

”Heh. About that... we’ll just have to wait and see. Bye-bye.”

Right after speaking, they all disappeared.

Vritra and the others found themselves in a vast, dark space.

For now, they were being sent back to Planet Zoratian.

Then, according to the punishment, they would have to leave that planet forever.

”...”

Vritra looked around.

Now only he and his family remained.

”Honey, what was that punishment about?” Vanessa asked, wondering whether he knew anything.

”I... don’t know either, but I think Divine certainly knows something about it.” Vritra sighed.

He had thought they would get through this just like last time.

’Divine?’ Vritra called out several times in his mind before finally receiving an answer.

”Oh, wait a few minutes! Hahaha, this is too funny! I’m watching the gods. They’re about to be sent to Hell Prison. Right now, the Mythic Halo is being ripped away from the Sun God, and even their twenty-five percent mana is being extracted. Pfft! This is hilarious! Just look at their expressions! Hahaha!”

Vritra rolled his eyes.

Divine continued laughing for quite a while.

[You will now arrive on Planet Zoratian!]

Messages began flashing before everyone.

[You have received the Orb of Evolution to Level 4!]

[You have received the Orb of Evolution to Level 5!]

[You have received the Orb of Evolution to Level 6!]

[You have received the Orb of Evolution to Level 7!]

[You have obtained the 4th-ranked Mythic Halo, The Sun!]

[You have obtained 25% of the gods’ mana!]

Aside from the Mythic Halo, all the other rewards appeared inside their inventories, including the enormous orb containing the gods’ mana.

The Mythic Halo itself was directly teleported into Vritra’s inventory.

Finally, they arrived back on Planet Zoratian.

Stepping through the portal, they found themselves in the Yate Realm.

”Sigh... we’re back.” Yennefer sighed as she looked at the familiar scenery.

The House of Darkness stood in the distance, and ordinary humans could also be seen.

It all felt strangely calming.

But remembering the punishment, everyone still felt somewhat uneasy.

”Divine, are you done yet?” Vritra asked.

None of them would truly relax until they understood everything.

”Yes, yes, I’m done. I’m coming back.”

Divine finally appeared before them in the form of an insect.

”So, ask whatever questions you have.”

Vritra immediately asked,

”About that punishment... what does it actually mean? Hell Prison... will six months there really result in our deaths?”

”Yes. If you go there and stay for six months, then even at Level 7, all of you would end up dying.” Divine answered honestly.

Since he spoke aloud, everyone heard him and frowned.

”Wasn’t Evelyn on our side? Why would she hand down such a punishment?” Maeve asked, completely confused.

”Haha, don’t worry too much. According to the plan ahead, you’ll have to leave Planet Zoratian anyway.” Divine began explaining in a reassuring tone.

”As for Hell Prison... well, of course you won’t actually be going there. Within those six months, the ten of you will have to reach the level of the gods. Evelyn created that six-month period so no one would target you, allowing you to grow stronger in peace. So, all in all, you don’t need to worry.”

Only after hearing that did everyone finally relax.

As expected, there was no way Evelyn would ever try to harm him.

”I’ll explain everything in greater detail later, but for now, just enjoy a few days on this planet. Soon, you’ll have to disappear from the world, train, and grow stronger.” Divine said as he landed on the ground and transformed into Bullo.

”Bullo! I missed you so much! Where have you been?” Shitless instantly ran toward Bullo and jumped onto his head.

Bullo bounced Shitless into the air before catching him on his back.

”I guess we should go meet Ava and the others. They must have been really worried.” Vanessa spoke, tearing her gaze away from the comedic duo.

MUOOOOO!

Letting out a loud roar, Bullo charged into the distance, rushing toward the Yate Palace.

Seeing the massive wild bull charging toward them, the guards were initially alarmed and prepared to attack.

But then they noticed a bald man sitting on its back, desperately clinging to the bull for dear life while screaming at them.
