Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill

Chapter 878: Romance in the Office

”Should I just eliminate him?” Armin asked confidently, his hand already moving to his paper fan.

”And what is he trying to steal?” Evelyn ignored Armin completely and questioned further, her gaze locked solely on Vritra with intense focus.

”T-That Baldy Buddha. He was trying to steal the property of the temple. Please give him the h-harshest punishment!” Green Pickle spoke before the cultist could respond, his voice trembling with eagerness, desperate to see Vritra punished.

”I see.” She nodded thoughtfully, her expression unreadable, and after a moment’s pause continued with measured words, ”I will be confiscating this Buddha for further research. As for him, I will give the harshest punishment possible.”

”Yessss!” Green Pickle jumped in joy, unable to contain his excitement any longer. Finally, he had succeeded in his revenge after all this time.

Maybe Vritra would die this time, or at least spend a very long time suffering in prison, locked away and forgotten.

Finally, he had saved all those seven women, Vritra’s mother, wife, and daughters, protecting them from his cruelty and abuse.

He wanted to go back and quickly tell them this good news, about his heroic actions and bravery. How happy would they be? Maybe they might just fall in love with him for saving them from such a man.

There is always a chance for romance to bloom in such circumstances.

The cultists, on the other hand, weren’t so happy about the outcome. This Buddhist avatar meant quite a bit to them spiritually and materially.

It was pure luck that they had found one so easily without extensive searching throughout the realm.

Normally, they searched far and wide for such good Buddhist avatars so they could reap the benefits, but what could they even say in this matter with Evelyn here, her presence shutting down any objections?

In the end, they could only sigh heavily and give up, accepting their loss with resignation.

Evelyn wasted not a moment more in the midst of all these side characters and distractions. She just wanted to rush away with Vritra and be alone with him.

She looked at Shitless briefly, and with a gesture of her finger, he turned into a ray of light and disappeared into the distance rapidly.

None of them could tell where he had gone or how it was done so easily, but Shitless was already back in the House of Darkness, transported instantly through space.

Thankfully, he had survived his ordeal relatively unscathed. Maybe staying here as Shitless might not be such a bad idea after all, considering the alternative.

After sending him away to safety without hesitation, Evelyn didn’t spare anyone even an extra glance as she took a step forward and flashed before Vritra.

She grabbed his hand gently but firmly with purpose, and the two simply disappeared from sight, leaving the crowd baffled and confused once again.

’Was this normal?’

They all wondered in stunned silence, their minds struggling to process what they had witnessed. Armin was especially in shock, his entire world shaking and crumbling.

Evelyn always maintained her distance from others and kept people at arm’s length, treating everyone with cold professionalism. He was her fiancé, yet she stayed away from him as if he were carrying some disgusting plague. He hadn’t even gotten to hold her hand once.

Neither had he ever seen her touch anyone else like that, with such obvious affection and possessiveness in her grip.

So what happened just now? She clearly seemed to know that man intimately. Maybe she even cared about him deeply.

She hated that man so much based on her previous punishments. Maybe it was just a way to make sure he wouldn’t run away and escape from her custody?

Armin felt unsettled and confused by the sudden turn of events, but surely she wouldn’t like someone like that, would she?

Right? RIGHT?

”So admirable, she must have already torn away that hand. How ruthless!” Green Pickle suddenly exclaimed loudly, clapping enthusiastically, bringing Armin back to his senses from his spiraling thoughts.

’Ah, right. That must be it. In battle, that is normal.’ Finally, he felt at ease, accepting the explanation and letting it soothe his doubts.

The surrounding people only now noticed that Armin from the Garissa Family was present among them. Evelyn’s presence had completely overshadowed his existence there.

They all quickly bowed and greeted him respectfully, their movements hurried and deferential, to which Armin nodded gracefully and responded politely, though his mind was elsewhere, though he only wanted to leave quickly and watch Evelyn torture that guy in her dungeons.

She was pretty ruthless to everyone except her family, showing no mercy to those who crossed her.

Even though her family treated her like a tradable object, a pawn in their schemes, she didn’t actually seem to hate them that much. If he were in her place, he might have run away or rebelled completely against such treatment. Her strength should have been enough to do so.

The people around him kept trying to flatter him and gain his attention, stopping him from leaving the area and engaging him in tedious conversations.

He sighed heavily, feeling trapped, and only after quite a while was he finally able to leave, heading straight toward the Law Holders Headquarters to find Evelyn.

Only, she wasn’t there.

...

Vritra was once again kidnapped by Evelyn, pulled away without warning, and he could only allow himself to be dragged along without resistance.

He knew she would surely come to find him eventually, just not this soon or this openly for everyone to see.

He didn’t even have time to ask anything before finding himself standing inside a room that looked somewhat like an office, clearly a place of power and authority.

”...Where are we?” he asked, looking around the spacious room carefully. It was tidy and luxurious beyond measure.

The table, chair, papers, and even the pen appeared to be treasures that couldn’t be found even among Demi Gods, each item radiating subtle power.

”This is my office as the Chancellor of the Higher Beings, ranked just below my father in the hierarchy.” Evelyn replied with a sweet smile on her face, her expression softening as she looked at him.

”Forget that, my love...” she said warmly.

Cutting off any further questions before he could ask them, she moved closer to him with determined steps, her arms resting over his shoulders before wrapping around his neck gently.

Her soft body pressed against his, warm and inviting, and her fragrance surrounded Vritra, intoxicating his senses.

”Did you miss me?” Evelyn asked, looking at his face to her heart’s content, drinking in the sight of him.

Who would have thought such a day would really come? She had worked so hard for moments like this, sacrificing much for this opportunity.

”...Not really.” Vritra said, his tone matter-of-fact, gently moving out of her embrace before walking toward her table.

Aside from her father, Vritra was the only person to ever enter her office. She had even attacked Armin viciously when he once tried to enter just to chat with her casually.

Since that incident, he would at most stand outside waiting.

But Evelyn felt euphoric to have him here, walking freely in her private space.

Forget getting angry over him touching her things, she was delighted by it. She even remembered everything he had touched, every surface his hand had made contact with. Those items had now become priceless treasures in her eyes, more valuable than their original worth.

Vritra walked to the other side of the table slowly, casually sat down on the chair, and was instantly surprised by the effects it had on his body.

Not only did his mind calm down and center, but the flow of mana throughout his body became even smoother and more harmonious.

Even Gods would drool over such treasures, their mouths watering with envy. The status of the Higher Beings was truly on another level entirely.

He had also come to understand just how arrogant these people were in their superiority. Even Gods were merely lowly servants in their eyes, beneath their notice.

Just how had Evelyn fallen in love with him then, a mere Demi God?

Even with that pill and all the time they had spent together, considering the character of the Higher Beings, they normally wouldn’t even look at a mere human, let alone a demi god.

So... was she different from the others?

His thoughts broke as an enticing scene unfolded right before him, stealing his attention completely.

Evelyn climbed onto the table with deliberate grace, her figure and posture incredibly sexy as she slowly crawled toward him on all fours.

At some point, her clothes had changed into a loose, sexy pink robe that barely contained her curves, the fabric falling open slightly.

As she stopped before Vritra, her smooth, snowy cleavage was laid bare before him, perfectly displayed.

Feeling his fiery gaze on her body, burning with desire, Evelyn didn’t feel shy despite doing something so embarrassing and daring.

If her man liked it, she could do this and even more, anything he desired.

First, Evelyn leaned back slightly, creating distance between them teasingly.

Then her thick, milky thigh moved closer to Vritra, brushing against his arm as she settled both of her legs on either side of him deliberately.

She then pushed herself forward smoothly, softly landing on his lap while facing him, her legs dangling comfortably on both sides of his body.

The entire movement was incredibly seductive and practiced, their bodies now pressed tightly together intimately, their breaths mingling in the warm air of the office.

KNOCK KNOCK

The sound of knocking interrupted the moment, breaking the spell.
