Helping Beautiful Women Become Stronger, I Have a Love System

165: Chapter 165 Old KTina screamed, her eyes instantly turning bloodshot. She grabbed her bag, about to rush into the cafe. ”I’m going to tear his mouth apart! I want everyone to know what kind of trash he is!”

”Stop right there!”

Cao Kun grabbed her arm with a steady and firm grip, pulling her back directly.

”If you rush over now, he’ll just twist the truth with one word, accusing us of framing him instead. When that happens, the money won’t be recovered, and he’ll just run away scot-free. Do you want him to get away with it like that?”

Tina shook with rage, tears streaming down her face. ”Then what should I do? Just endure it? I can’t accept this!”

”Endurance isn’t the goal; making him pay the price is.” Cao Kun’s gaze was cold, his tone filled with absolute confidence.

”Do as I say. I promise he won’t get a single cent; he’ll cough up all the money he swindled from you. In the end, his reputation will be ruined, and he won’t even be able to stay in this city.”

Tina, Tian Ningning, and White Lotus Flower—the three women all had red eyes now, looking at Cao Kun in unison with a sense of reliance born from despair.

”Now, Tina, send a message to Zhang Genshuo. Say your friend can’t get the money for now and you’ll need a little more time to gather it before transferring it to him. Keep him steady.”

Tina gritted her teeth, wiped away her tears, and did as she was told. She took out her phone and typed the message with trembling fingers to send to Zhang Genshuo.

Almost the same second the message was sent, Cao Kun looked at Tian Ningning and White Lotus Flower. ”You two, call Zhang Genshuo separately now. Tell him you can’t give him the money you promised for the time being. Make sure he waits for your news and keep him tied down.”

The two didn’t hesitate for a moment and immediately dialed Zhang Genshuo’s number.

Three minutes later.

Outside the cafe, Zhang Genshuo received three messages in a row.

Tina: Honey, my friend doesn’t have the money. I’ll transfer it later.

Tian Ningning: Honey, the online loan company over here hasn’t approved my application yet. Wait a bit, and I’ll transfer it to you later.

White Lotus Flower: Honey, there’s a problem with the funds on my end. Wait for my notification.

If it had just been Tina who had a problem, Zhang Genshuo could have comforted himself by thinking it was an accident.

But now that all three women were having issues at the same time, the ease on his face vanished instantly. His brows furrowed tightly, and a strong sense of unease surged from the bottom of his heart.

He made a living by swindling; his intuition was sharper than anyone’s.

Something was wrong.

Very wrong.

Reason was warning him.

Stop now, leave immediately, he couldn’t stay in this Residential Complex any longer!

As long as he blocked everyone now and ran away overnight, no one would be able to find him.

But at the thought of the money about to come in, and the savings he could still squeeze out of the three women, he swallowed hard, his eyes turning greedy and fierce.

Why give up on the fat sheep already in his grasp?

It was just a small accident; it couldn’t scare him.

He’d go for it!

Once he got the money, he’d disappear immediately!

In fact, when Cao Kun asked the three women to call Zhang Genshuo, he hadn’t been afraid of him running away at all.

From the moment Cao Kun received the mission in the elevator, the man was already a bird in a cage.

Whether he ran or not, the outcome was already decided.

On the other side.

Cao Kun looked at the three women, whose emotions had calmed down slightly. His tone softened, yet it still carried an unquestionable command.

”Remember, from now on, don’t give Zhang Genshuo any money. Find an excuse to leave and just keep him hanging. Wait for my word.”

”I will help you recover all the money he swindled from you, every single cent.”

”And I will make sure he receives a severe punishment.”

Tian Ningning, White Lotus Flower, and Tina looked at each other, seeing a firm resolve in each other’s eyes after their heartbreak. The three nodded in unison: ”We’ll listen to you.”

Cao Kun gave a grunt of acknowledgment. He cast a final glance at Zhang Genshuo, who was still waiting anxiously not far away, a cold light flashing in his eyes.

”You guys go back first. I’m going to step away for a bit.”

After saying that, he turned and walked quickly toward the parking lot, his figure soon disappearing at the end of the street.

...

Cao Kun temporarily parted ways with the three women.

Because he had to help them get back the money they were swindled out of.

But through the system, Cao Kun learned that Zhang Genshuo had no money at all right now.

All the money he had swindled had been squandered by him.

Under normal circumstances.

It would be almost impossible for Tian Ningning and the others to recover their losses.

But Cao Kun already had a plan.

He was going to sell Zhang Genshuo’s organs.

Although selling human organs was illegal, for a piece of scum like Zhang Genshuo, it was the most appropriate punishment.

It would allow the victims to recover their losses and make him pay a painful price.

But there was another problem.

Cao Kun didn’t know anyone like that.

He asked the system directly: ”Are there any channels for selling human organs?”

The system was silent for two seconds.

[Querying...]

[Match result: An underground organ trading network exists in Zhongzhou City. The person in charge is code-named ”Old K”.]

[Contact information: None. But there is a meeting point: Warehouse No. 13, North City Abandoned Industrial Zone, every Wednesday at 8 PM.]

[Note: This person does not accept transactions from strangers. Trust must be gained before contact can be made.]

[Note 2: This individual is extremely dangerous. Host, please proceed with caution.]

[Note 3: The host can say they were introduced by Old Eagle; it might have a miraculous effect.]

After the system said this, it said no more.

Cao Kun was very puzzled, not knowing who the ”Old Eagle” the system mentioned was.

But no matter how he asked, the system didn’t respond anymore.

There was nothing he could do.

Cao Kun had to let it go for the time being.

He checked the time.

Today happened to be Wednesday, 8 PM, North City Industrial Zone.

There were still ten hours left.

Cao Kun immediately began to prepare.

...

Evening.

North City Industrial Zone.

At 7:30 PM, Cao Kun drove out of the city area toward the northern suburbs.

Outside the car window, the prosperous city was gradually replaced by dilapidated factory buildings.

The North City Industrial Zone was a product of the nineties. With industrial upgrades, most of the factories had long since closed down.

Only abandoned workshops and warehouses remained, becoming a gathering place for the homeless, scavengers, and various gray industries.

The navigation showed that Warehouse No. 13 was in the deepest part of the industrial zone.

Cao Kun parked his car in the shadow of an abandoned factory building and proceeded on foot.

The night was deep, and there were no streetlights, only occasional flickers of light from the dilapidated buildings.

The sound of dogs barking came from afar, echoing eerily in the empty industrial zone.

Cao Kun turned on his phone’s flashlight and walked along the potholed concrete road.

His system-enhanced body gave him sharp senses, allowing him to hear faint voices in the distance and see shadows occasionally flashing in the darkness.

After walking for about twenty minutes, a group of warehouses appeared before him.

Red-brick warehouses with rusty corrugated iron roofs; most of the windows were broken, looking like the dark eyes of monsters.

Warehouse No. 13 was in the last row.

As Cao Kun approached, he found this warehouse was different from the others.

The windows were boarded up with wood, but a faint light leaked through the gaps. Two black vans were parked at the entrance, without license plates.

He took a deep breath, went to the door, and knocked three times.

There was no response.

He knocked three more times, harder this time.

The door opened a crack, revealing an eye.

”Who are you looking for?” The voice was low and raspy.

”Old K,” Cao Kun said.

The eye sized him up for a few seconds. ”Don’t know him. Get lost.”

The door was about to close.

Cao Kun reached out and held the door.

”Who?”

”Old Eagle.”

In reality, Cao Kun had no idea who Old Eagle was, but he had to bite the bullet and say it.

The eye stared at him for a full ten seconds before the door was suddenly pulled open.

A handgun was pressed against Cao Kun’s forehead.

”Police?” the man sneered.

Cao Kun didn’t flinch. ”No.”

”Plainclothes?”

”No.”

”Then who are you?”

”A customer.”

The man holding the gun was about forty years old, with a face full of bulky flesh and a fierce gaze. He stared into Cao Kun’s eyes, trying to find any fear or dodging.

But Cao Kun’s eyes were as calm as water.

”Search him,” the Bulky Man said.
