Chapter 603: Chapter 503: Two Matters (Thanks to the Alliance Leader Dachang Nana)_1

I had only been at the school for a week when I received complaints from thousands of people and had hundreds of unfair blames thrown into my classroom. Do you have any clue what’s going on?

Facing the scrutiny of Huai Shi’s slender, squinting eyes, Jacob couldn’t help but twitch.

And behind him, Lin Nineteen leisurely took out a thick stack of names from his pocket, slapped it in his hand, and grinned at Morgan, half-smiling, half-smirking.

It was a sign that they had come prepared.

Some people around recognized Lin Nineteen and couldn’t believe he switched sides just like Yuan Yuan, glaring at him with anger.

Lin Nineteen hid behind Huai Shi, looking like a smug and provocative lapdog, reveling in the waves of negative emotions that he was reaping with ease.

Even if a mosquito is small, it’s still flesh; especially the resentment of Sublimators, which is a great supplement for those on the Path of Karma.

Too bad Yuan Yuan had cut the roots of the previous nine waves of easy picks. Otherwise, Lin Nineteen would have skillfully stayed within the bounds of making them uncomfortable and enraged, and would have harvested resentment like a steady stream... Wouldn’t that be wonderful?

Jacob was silent, and so was Huai Shi, who just quietly looked at him.

He came here today for an explanation.

If Jacob couldn’t provide one, he wouldn’t mind taking matters into his own hands.

Otherwise, would people really think he came to the Ivory Tower just to be a pretty Cowherd?

After a brief contemplation, Jacob finally responded while looking at Huai Shi, ”I’m not very clear, but there may be some misunderstanding here.”

”Misunderstanding?” Huai Shi raised an eyebrow.

”Yes, a misunderstanding,” Jacob paused, softened his tone, and continued, ”I think it’s better to let students resolve their own issues among themselves, don’t you think?”

Yuan Zhao was amused. Nonsense. Students should resolve their own issues? Then why the hell were you blocking the way just now?

Now, no matter how reluctant Jacob was, under Huai Shi’s intimidation, he still had to step back to maintain at least a facade of neutrality and even reminded them meaningfully,

”If the students from your classroom have grievances against us, we’re naturally willing to settle it. But if a teacher meddles impulsively, the outcome might not be as desired.”

Hearing this, a few students from the Sea Fishing Club behind him stepped forward without being told. They looked rugged and experienced, clearly seasoned in handling such confrontations.

In contrast, Lin Nineteen behind Huai Shi didn’t look like he could fight, and the scene suddenly became bleak and desolate.

Lin Nineteen was also nervous. Looking up at Huai Shi, his expression suggested that his teacher surely wouldn’t be heartless enough to let a weak young man like him brawl with those brutes? If it was scheming, Lin Nineteen wouldn’t be afraid even if there were ten times as many of them. But face-to-face confrontation? How could he, an online commentator, possibly win against them?

Huai Shi stroked his chin, contemplating the student before him. He felt it wasn’t impossible.

”Since that’s the case, you will take my place in this fight,” he said.

He patted Lin Nineteen’s shoulder, signaling that Lin Nineteen had been enhanced and should go. ”However,” Huai Shi continued, ”considering that you are new to this and still unpolished in your art, here is a Magic Weapon I’ll lend you for today.”

As he spoke, he conjured a metal bomb, as big as a basketball, into Little Nineteen’s arms.

Lin Nineteen’s face turned green as he held the bomb, bigger than his head, pondering whether his Master’s disciples were disposable like his Magic Weapons, gone after one use.

Soon, he noticed that the people opposite him were even paler than he was, clearly frightened.

Jacob, after a long pause, coughed twice and said, ”Teacher Huai Shi, there’s no need for such a massively destructive weapon for a student dispute. If something were to happen...”

”You’re right,” agreed Huai Shi, taking the bomb back from Lin Nineteen’s hands.

Before anyone could breathe a sigh of relief, they saw him pull out an Invisible Axe from thin air, its blade ablaze with raging fire, and place it into Lin Nineteen’s arms.

”Then this is for you.”

A sharp killing intent and anger spread from the transparent Axe Blade, pricking the eyes of all present.

Lin Nineteen instinctively gripped it and immediately felt the Molting Snake Mark within him voraciously absorbing the infinite rage from the blade, casting a ferocious shadow behind him.

An indescribable delight. This axe was a Border Relic, rated at least A-level! It even exhibited subtle features of a Stigmata Relic, with the silhouette of a Yin Soul faintly visible within! As he gripped it, an endless stream of inspiration and skill flooded his mind. He instantly felt omnipotent, as if everyone opposite him were mere clay chickens and pottery dogs, utterly defeatable!

But little did he know that the moment he grasped the Axe of Anger, Lin Nineteen unwittingly showed a hideous smile to everyone else, his eyes blood-red.

”Oh, oh, this power—” he exclaimed uncontrollably.

”Teacher Huai Shi, isn’t this a bit unfair?” Jacob frowned.

”Still not fair?” Huai Shi turned around, looking displeased at Jacob. ”Alright then, let’s change it again...”

Before Lin Nineteen could object, Huai Shi snatched the axe back. The floor suddenly trembled as a heavy, menacing Iron Hammer thudded down from Huai Shi’s hand.
