Primordial Villain with a Slave Harem

Chapter 1146: Girls in Action

The battlefield was chaos, but within that chaos, the girls moved with practiced precision. Ayame, Serika, and Vex took the lead as they led the group into the enemy’s backline.

Serika’s eyes narrowed as she scanned the shifting tide of soldiers.

Two centuries of warfare had honed her instincts sharper than any blade. She led them toward a gap between two advancing units, where a pocket of vulnerability materialized. There, their strength would carve the deepest wound.

The others followed without hesitation.

Ayame dashed forward, making good use of her Skysplitter class.

Nearly every devastating, mana-fueled swing of her blade cut men down. Soldiers tried to form a line, but she shattered their defenses with her destructive cuts.

Someone cried out above the clash of steel, ”Is she one of us?!”

”She does wield a katana and is dressed in our armor, but I don’t recognize her class!” another shouted.

”H-hey, wait! Maybe we can talk about it!” a third pleaded.

Ayame gave no reply, though her silence was an answer of its own. The only voice she needed was her blade cutting through them as she grit her teeth, determined to see things through.

As she said before, the oriental beauty derived no joy from this, even as the large amount of kill notifications and received XP flooded her mind. However, she pushed through the heaviness, fully intending to see through her new—her true—family’s safety and rise.

If she had to make sacrifices for it, then so be it. Ayame was ready.

Next to her, Serika’s fists blazed like miniature suns. The Solar Fist crashed into shields and breastplates, breaking metal and bone alike. Every strike drove enemies back, scattering them into disarray. Her presence was less a fighter and more a force of nature, each blow echoing with the weight of centuries she spent cultivating her fire.

Vex released an unsettling giggle as she pointed her blade at the nearest group of enemies. Hexes coiled around her fingers and up the blade, from which she flung them into the ranks of Fujimori soldiers.

Men collapsed, choking on invisible curses, their bodies twisting unnaturally as whispers of death wound through their minds.

She grinned at their despair, sporting a sadistic expression as she looked down at their fallen forms. Quinlan would’ve found her incredibly hot in this moment, should he be present.

But the Fujimori were not helpless.

Their ranks responded with frightening speed. Commanders shouted, horns blared, and the initial panic gave way to organized retaliation. Lines of spears and swords closed around them, trying to encircle the small strike force. Ayame’s group had struck from their blind side, and Quinlan, together with Rynne, was tearing the front apart, but the enemy adapted quickly.

Vex scoffed as she noticed the tightening noose and a severe lack of Raika being in the vicinity. ”Damn that cavewoman. She jumped away again. Now we’ll have to risk our bodies instead of using her as bait.”

Lucille stepped forward. Her eyes burned with hunger, her chest heaved with exhilaration, and her body was painted in red. ”Let them come. I am already in the zone. If they bring more bodies for me to ramp up with, all the better.”

Aurora exhaled softly, shaking her head. ”You are truly starting to live up to your class. From innkeeper’s humble wife to the Bloodmonger...”

Her staff then wove through the air, forming threads of power around her allies. Barriers shimmered into being, catching arrows and bolts before they could strike. Strength surged in her companions’ limbs as her enchantments spread across the group.

At the other side of the group, Iris staggered briefly with blood dripping from a wound across her shoulder, but her eyes shone with ferocity.

She had soaked the brunt of the enemy’s strikes, and now she twisted that pain into power. Her Child of Reckoning class flared, bolstering her strength with every cut and bruise.

It was time to give the pain back. She swung her blade with a sudden, explosive force, catching her enemies off guard and cleaving through armor and bone. It felt as if vengeance itself had taken form in her hands.

Feng Jiai stood only a few paces behind the unhinged woman. The Gremlord of Chaos unleashed volatile bursts of magic that erupted unpredictably, scattering enemy formations. Enemy fire spells melted into acid, lightning tangled into raw concussive force that was redirected to hit their allies instead of hers.

She seemed to thrive standing near Iris, using the bloodthirsty woman’s raw volatility as not only her shield and ally, but perhaps even as inspiration for her unique class.

On the flank, Lyra shielded Seraphiel. Blades and arrows met her shield, but none reached the Dawnbringer, Quinlan’s gorgeous, blond-haired elven lover.

Seraphiel drew her bow. Her arrows glowed with dawn’s light before piercing through enemy lines. As Lyra blocked another strike, the cheeky elf shifted her weapon fluidly, which saw her bow morph into a curved sword.

With a smooth slash, she cut the same enemy who’d just slammed his weapon against Lyra’s shield across the chest, then glanced at the pink-haired tanker with a playful wink. Lyra answered only with a faint smile before tanking another shot for the woman.

At the same time, Kaelira’s group pressed from the opposite side. Her shield braced against the charge, holding the line as Shallan’s gusts of wind burst overhead. They rained upon the soldiers, scattering them like dry leaves in the wind. Liora moved swiftly among her allies as light pooled at her fingertips as she mended wounds and bolstered stamina, keeping the line steady.

But despite the best efforts of the girls, the pressure mounted with every passing second.

Steel clanged against steel as Lyra braced her shield once more, her knees buckling from the sheer force of repeated strikes. Arrows rained from above in endless waves, blotting out the sky. Seraphiel’s blade gleamed, each swing devastating, but for every man she cut down, two more stepped forward to fill the gap.

On the opposite flank, Kaelira gritted her teeth as soldiers pressed into her shield, trying to overwhelm her sheer strength with numbers.

Shallan’s magic lost its edge when an enemy Hydromancer of higher Magic Stat began doing her utmost to snuff her spells out.

Liora’s staff glowed with frantic light, her healing barely keeping pace with the blood and exhaustion pouring across her companions.

The girls were surrounded, swallowed by a tide of armored bodies. Shouts and the pounding of boots rattled the air, forming a cage of flesh and steel around them.

Even their coordinated strikes couldn’t carve a path anymore; the Fujimori soldiers were too disciplined, too relentless.

Then, in the eye of the storm, Jasmine tilted her head. She stood untouched in the middle of their group, perfectly sheltered behind the frontline warriors. A sly smirk curved her lips.

”My heart bled a little when I spent so much of our gold to save Mom,” she admitted. Her fingers twirled a strand of hair as if she were speaking at a merchant’s stall instead of a battlefield. ”But now... It’s not our money, is it?”

Her eyes gleamed with wicked amusement. ”Thank you, Lady Black Fang, for having zero material desires—or maybe just being a very questionable manager of money.”
