The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1242: Chapter 1242: Winter Prime Time Takeover

Winter has arrived, and night falls darker than usual. The evening wind is chilly, so more people prefer to stay home and binge-watch TV series, while those who go out mostly choose to hide from the cold in movie theaters.

The cold weather has ushered in a busy season for the entertainment industry.

And this winter, a little star has begun to dominate the screens!

Little Taotie won the championship of the ”Finding the Leading Lady” variety show, and Xiao Lingzhi was chosen as a supporting role. This film was released during this cold winter. Although Little Taotie played the childhood of the female lead, she still captured the audience’s attention.

Following that, a film adapted by Video No. 3 was released. This movie was shown simultaneously in a hundred countries, with many different versions.

Take for example, domestically, kids hate carrots, but in some Western countries, kids hate broccoli. The details of each version are very well executed.

The ”Time-Space Monster Management Bureau” variety show released an edited version, selecting several of the most distinctive stories, turning it into a snack-like movie release.

The fairy drama that Little Taotie collaborated with Gu Yixing on was also broadcast on major platforms. Although it’s a paid series, it’s still more popular than some free series airing at the same time.

Little Taotie’s commercials have gone viral on major platforms.

Usually, viewers buy memberships to skip ads, but this winter, the platforms feel a bit at a loss because many people actually canceled their memberships just to watch the ads. Amusingly, the advertisers paid enough to fill in this financial gap.

This winter’s works are considered a major test for Little Taotie over the past two years.

At the end of the year, Little Taotie is expected to win the industry’s prestigious Best Newcomer Award.

Meanwhile, at school, the exams have begun!

Little Taotie quickly finished her test, but didn’t rush to submit it. Instead, she carefully checked it over again.

She was a bit worried about losing her second place rank!

While being the eternal second place is embarrassing, falling to third would be even more humiliating!

So, the little girl checked it over once more.

After checking it three times, ensuring she didn’t lose points due to carelessness, the little girl handed in her test paper.

Hua Jinyan was assigned to another exam room and submitted his test early, standing by the door of Little Taotie’s exam room waiting for her.

As soon as Little Taotie stepped out, she saw Hua Jinyan, ”What was the answer to the last question?”

Little Taotie anxiously stared at Hua Jinyan, fearing the answer he gave might differ from what she had written.

When Hua Jinyan gave the answer, and it matched hers, Little Taotie let out a big sigh of relief, her little dimple deeply visible as she smiled brightly.

”Let’s head back. How do you plan to spend the upcoming winter vacation?” Hua Jinyan held her small hand, noticing it was a bit cold, so he held it tighter.

Little Taotie tilted her head thinking seriously in her childish voice, ”If I win the newcomer award, I plan to attend various film auctions over the vacation. If I don’t get the newcomer award, I plan to film more to make up for shortcomings, working to bring qualitative change with quantitative efforts, aiming to win the award next year.”

”Has Video No. 3’s adaptation been out for seven days now?”

Little Taotie nodded, ”Domestic box office exceeded 2 billion, not too much, but not too little either. The highest-grossing film during the same period exceeded 3 billion.”

”And we don’t know the box office abroad yet?”

Little Taotie: ”We should know in a couple of days. As this film is a sci-fi movie, it might be more popular overseas.”

”What type of film broke the 3 billion mark?”

”It’s a period drama where the female lead travels back to the 1970s to find prosperity.” Little Taotie sighed, ”Video No. 3 is unlikely to surpass it.”
