The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1226: Chapter 1226: Bai Shuang’s Terrible Acting Skills

Drawing back the curtains, the sun was shining brightly outside. Little Taotie awoke, thinking last night was just a dream.

After all, Little Braids disappeared right in front of her; how could a vanished soul become a Ghost Enforcer?

At school, Little Veggie patted her, ”Didn’t sleep well?”

Little Taotie shook her head: ”I slept.”

Little Veggie: ”Did you know about the picnic tomorrow?”

”Picnic!” Little Taotie’s eyes lit up, Little Dimple appeared, ”Where are we going?”

”Dinosaur Paradise, pack your own lunch.”

Little Taotie got excited: ”Okay, I remember, I’ll bring lots of delicious food!”

Little Veggie: ”I’ll make a bento, I’ll bring one for you too, what do you like to eat?”

Little Taotie felt a bit embarrassed: ”No need, making one more is a hassle.”

”It’s no trouble, just in passing.”

”Is there eel?”

”There is, but I’m afraid it won’t be fresh.”

”That’s alright, I’ll eat it as soon as I get on the bus!”

Little Veggie: ”...That’s so you.”

Little Taotie stuck out her tongue: ”Add lots of sesame seeds!”

Little Veggie’s cooking skills were really good; she had previously brought eel sushi to Little Taotie’s house. Little Taotie loved Little Veggie’s eel sushi, just that Little Veggie was a bit stingy, sprinkling only a few sesame seeds.

Little Veggie sighed: ”Too much would steal the show, the star is the eel.”

Little Taotie tilted her head, propping it up with one hand as she looked at her, ”Cai Cai, do you really like acting?”

Little Veggie lowered her eyes: ”Liking it is useless, I’m not an actress anymore.”

Now Little Veggie was using Feng Qi’s mortal body, while her own was possessed by Bai Shuang.

Sometimes watching TV, when Little Veggie saw Bai Shuang using her body to act, it made her really angry because Bai Shuang’s acting was terrible, only knowing how to glare, aimlessly glaring, ruining the whole scene.

Little Veggie worried: ”I’m a bit concerned that by the time I return, my reputation will be ruined by her acting.”

Little Taotie hadn’t kept up with Bai Shuang’s recent activities and was a bit curious upon hearing Little Veggie’s words.

Little Veggie took out her phone, showing some clips edited from netizens’ reviews.

Little Taotie watched as the person inside glared and grinned foolishly like an idiot, twitching her mouth: ”Is she playing a smart and brave little girl?”

Little Veggie grimaced: ”Yeah, the character is supposed to be a smart and brave little girl, but she’s made it like a silly bumpkin from the village.”

Little Taotie wanted to laugh, but seeing Little Veggie’s unhappy face, she tried hard to hold back.

Little Veggie saw her little face turning red, and said helplessly: ”Go ahead and laugh if you want.”

Little Taotie burst out laughing: ”I thought she was good at pretending.”

Little Veggie shrugged: ”Pretending to be a White Lotus is something she’s probably good at. Look at this bit where she acts as an innocent, pure White Lotus, the netizens say this is a peak performance, some say it’s her true nature.”

Little Taotie nodded in agreement: ”It really is her true nature.”

Little Veggie angrily turned the phone screen face down, not wanting to see her face acting in such awkward performances for even a second, ”Now the agent is giving her completely different roles. Before, they were challenging ones, with varied styles. Now they pick roles of soft, pitiful little sisters, or childhood versions of White Lotus supporting characters.”

”Oh, she sent a message wanting to collaborate with you.”

Little Veggie turned the phone screen back, finding an interview.

Little Taotie leaned in to watch, her little face wrinkling up.

”Do you want to respond?” Little Veggie asked.

Little Taotie shook her head like crazy.

Little Veggie was amused and laughed: ”She has no self-awareness; if she acts alongside you, her poor acting would be obvious immediately.”
