Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2571: Promise

Both Sam and Bewulf stopped their actions.

Sam returned to his usual form, while Bewulf stopped putting the pressure on Sam. He once again felt the urge to curse at the sky as he watched Parth descend slowly along with his bow.

He looked sweaty with his upper body bear.

He was probably in the middle of his training when he rushed over.

Parth descended slowly and turned to Sam.

”Are you alright?”

Sam nodded as he healed his own broken bones. But his eyes were still locked on Bewulf’s son.

”What happened?”

Parth asked and Sam recounted the whole ordeal.

”Seems like Saxons don’t take my word seriously. And here I thought I still have some weight in this world.”

Bewulf gulped nervously. He grabbed his son by his neck and slapped him silly. Then he threw him in front of Sam.

”Apologize.”

The young man was still scared out of his wits. Sam almost wanted to spit on his face. It has been a long time since he met someone so cowardly. Sam didn’t even hit him once and he already turned into this.

He wondered how this guy even dared to attempt such a provocative action, when he was this spineless.

Sam just raised his gun and took another shot.

”The fuck are you doing?”

Bewulf stopped the fatality. He didn’t block the bullet or put any pressure on Sam this time. Instead, he pulled his son back.

Sam looked at him and said.

”When it comes to my friends, I don’t care much for the apologies. So, I advise you to just let me kill him and the matter will be buried here.”

”You...” Bewulf was ready to lose it.

”You better decide what’s worth more? I came here without any preparation and half the city is gone. If you don’t let me kill him today, the price you have to pay would be considerably larger. Much much larger.

You better make a decision.

Who will you choose? Your son or the Saxon tribe?”

Sam’s voice didn’t even falter. He is literally threatening a person who could kill him with a sneeze if he is not careful. And Sam even with all his skills and powers, didn’t really deal with anyone of Bewulf’s level.

Maybe he took down the peak stage land croc, but that was because the land croc is mostly idiotic.

So, both Bewulf and Parth are feeling extremely confused.

”Are you done thinking?”

Sam asked again and this time Bewulf replied.

”I don’t want to escalate this. That’s why I didn’t kill you. But just because Parth is backing you, doesn’t mean you could walk all over me. Know your strength and know your place.”

For the first time, a cold smile appeared on Sam’s face.

”Good.

I don’t want to kill your son anymore. Not for a long time. Even if you give me his head on the silver platter, I won’t take it.

Now, remember this.

From this moment on, the fate of the Saxons is sealed. To delay the inevitable demise of your worthless son, you gave up the lives of every Saxon on this planet.

From now on, Your territory will lose its vitality. Death and decay will embrace it every passing day. I will pick, plan and target every single saxon.

And I catch them, I will use their flesh to let my beasts have a feast every day.

I will capture their skeletons and turn them into puppets. I will capture their souls and bind them to those puppets. Your Saxons will turn into an immortal undead army that would fight for me and my subordinates for eternity without any rest or peace.

It might take a couple of months. Couple of years, or a couple of decades... But one day, after I am done with all of them... I will come for you and your son.

I will capture him with my own hands, while you stand there helplessly. I will keep him alive and peel his skin layer by layer... cook him and make my bear eat him, bit by bit.

Then I will come after you.

I will use the same blood soaked blade that I used on your sun to slowly and bluntly cut your fucking neck off.

Until then... wait and watch how I destroy your lineage. And if you dare to take my revenge away from me, by killing him... I will direct all that anger on every poor soul of your lineage. I will cut them, peel them and cook them just like I said I would do to your son. And I won’t for a second hesitate whether it is an elderly man who is past his prime, or a little girl who was just born. I will treat them all the same.”

Sam’s voice was low, cold and very unemotional.

It’s like he was just reciting something he read somewhere and that’s what made Bewulf and his son freeze in shock. They instinctually knew that Sam didn’t exaggerate or say these things out of anger.

”You...”

Bewulf tried to say something, but Parth’s stare stopped him.

A million thoughts ran through his mind. He knew in his heart that he should kill Sam right then and there. But he also knew, even if he accomplished that Parth would kill him right away.

Saxons were unlike Hastin village. He was the only powerhouse at the peak stage.

”Mr.Parth. We need to talk.”

Sam said those words, got on his hoverboard and disappeared along with the rest of his beasts and teammates.

Parth looked at them all and turned around, leaving.

Five minutes later. At Sam’s base.

Sam and Parth were sitting at the edge of the island looking at the sea.

”You have seen a part of my true-self today. For a friend, I condemned a whole race to extinction. Do you still want to take me in as your student?”

”Why wouldn’t I? It is your grudge and the revenge is going to be your way. He came after your kin, so you go after his. It’s the way of the world. Its unfair and cruel, but no one can really stop it.”
