Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2557: Conditions

”You are being too enthusiastic here gentlemen. You are giving an outsider way too many privileges, don’t you think?”

One of the powerhouses, a lady with a messy bun on her head, Jaan, spoke.

Parth didn’t mind her tone or the accusation. He just asked.

”Then please offer some suggestions. I am all open for it.”

”If you let him attack the wilderness under the control of others, that could quickly escalate into war. In fact, even though many of the forests and seas are not in official control of some territories, they are still used as hunting grounds and resource points by many factions.

If you just give him free reign like that... don’t you think it will be detrimental to a lot of people?” Jaan expressed her opinion.

”Of course, it would be. That’s the point of conquest. To gain authority over something that doesn’t belong to you and belongs to someone else. He claimed that he came here to conquer land. Let’s give him a way to do that, with some restrictions.”

”I still don’t understand why we should even entertain his presence.”

”For starters... I like the kid. Secondly, Myrmon made a promise that he didn’t think through. And lastly, I don’t really see a point of why we shouldn’t do it. In fact, in my opinion, allowing is the best option we have.”

”And why is that?”

”I can cut a deal with him. In exchange for information. There are multiple people, some people even at our level that’s going to come to Darkhan.

Think guy can provide info about them to us, before they come here. We are ceding some territory to this kid, in exchange for the power houses to not just barge in.

Anyway, from the preliminary info I got, there are at least 200 powerhouses of our level in their realm. Even if we can fend off against them, there is no way for us to consistently defend their attacks if they come after our villages and such.

I also go to know that through these portals, only they can enter, but we can’t. At least for the next five years.

Even after that, our access to the other side opens gradually.

We are people bound by honor. But the same couldn’t be told about them. If they get despicable, even if we won in the end, the price would be too steep.

So, exchanging information is our priority.” Parth explained his reasoning and there was a sudden silence all over the room. Even Jaan grew a frown on her face.

When Parth mentioned the conquest in the first meeting, everyone was more or less curious and excited. They didn’t ask for more details, mainly because they are confident in their own strength.

But now... almost two hundred. The lack of honor...

They indeed can’t risk it.

”I agree with you. But how can we ensure that you can get the exact information that we want? After all, our strategies and focus are different things.” This time it was a different powerhouse.

Parth didn’t even think before answering.

”It’s easy. We can give him open access of communication with all 48 heads here. It’s a two way communication. Just like how he has to fight for the land, we also have to earn the info ourselves.

Whatever info anyone wants, you can just communicate with him, negotiate the details and get it yourselves.

And no threatening allowed. I will be the first one to oppose it.

Even if a youngster from your organization threatens him, I will be the first one to come knocking on your doors for an explanation.”

”Alright, you don’t have to constantly threaten people left and right. You know you have given too many words and made too many threats. What if you forget them at one point?” Shin joked to ease the tension.

Parth ignored him and said.

”I am being serious right now. If anyone wants to invade his territory, it’s fine. But the maximum strength of that person should be the maximum strength of people in Sam’s party. That’s the line I draw. No one shall cross it.”

”We got it.” This time, all 47 people answered in unison. This had happened before. More than once.

They discussed a few more details and Parth left.

The next morning. By sunrise.

Parth went to Sam’s Island.

Sam came out to greet him and even led him inside.

They sat at the same table as before and Sam lay out some spread of meat.

”I am experimenting with the meat of the beasts I caught. Let me know what you think. Any feedback would be helpful.”

”Thank you. I will help myself then.”

Parth started eating and talking at the same time.

”As I said before, they agreed and there were some conditions.

You can go after all the wilderness and the sea. In fact, most of those two are occupied by different beasts. There was almost no human control.

Even if there was some human control over some of those areas, you can try and conquer it.

Any area that you conquered, can also be tried and taken back by other people. But I made a condition on your behalf that only people that match the cultivation level of your highest cultivators are allowed.

...”

Parth went on and explained the conditions.

”That was quite generous. So, what’s the catch?”

”You know there are some conditions?”

”Of course, I know. There is no way, all your leaders are so pleased with my charming personality that they gave up such a generous offer.”

”Alright, I will be straight. It’s simple.

All the leaders are interested in the information about the academy realm. They want to have access to communicate with you to get that information.”

Sam almost laughed out loud.

”You came to the right person. No one, not even Bloody Chariot could guarantee he has more info on academy realm than I did.”

”Don’t tell me, you started boasting now instead of me.”

This time, Sam just smiled. He didn’t answer it and explained another plan that he had.
