Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2234  Return

Krejin felt like his whole world is collapsing.

He should have understood that something is wrong when he saw Sam alone in the middle of nowhere. How could someone who created so much destruction and showcases so much of his abilities, even managed to escape from the shadow cavalry with just a flash of light be so easy to find? Why didnʼt Krejin even stop to question himself about this?

He just lost himself in his complacency.

And complacency lead to the death of Siola. Thatʼs right, the bloody mess on the ground right now is Siola and the soul that he just absorbed also belonged to her.

As for how it happened... it is very simple. The pill that Sam drove into Siolaʼs mouth played a key part. It is the disguise serum that he created. This one is not really a perfect serum like the ones he has given to the managers. Instead, it is a prototype. The purpose of it is actually very simple. The outer layer of the pill contains regular healing pill or any other pill for that matter. The core of the pill, will have a small casing made an animalʼs internal organ, like an intestine. It is marked with a special inscription.

Up on Samʼs will, the inscription will activate and dissolve the casing, release the serum into the body of the consumer. And just for the sake of it, Sam used the modified serum that will turn people into him.

When Sam took Siola and ran away from the shadow cavalry, he just activated the pill, injured her throat and escaped while leaving her there.

As for the tracker spell...

That was result of the time he spent on researching the runes. Not only did he break himself of the spell, he even transferred it successfully to Siola while they were waiting for the guardians and the young master to come back. He predicted that Krejin might break his word and Sam prepared for it. Now, he is out of this planet and he also let a little something for Krejin as a parting gift apart from Siola. And right now, the parting gift was brewing in the blood of the shadow cavalry.

After stopping the rampage they are going on, the shadow cavalry started seeing red all over the place. Their eyes are also giving out a red hue and their killing intent just increased. However, they are trying to maintain their sanity, because the last time they experienced this, they were rampaging all over the Thalassa territory.

At that moment, the idiotic young master who should have never even involved himself with Sam looked at the cavalry hatefully.

”YOU BASTARDS. YOU... YOU ALL KILLED HER. YOU KILLED MY SIOLA. I WILL KILL YOU ALL.”

Maybe its because he is so used to having his way in his own territory, his killing intent and bloodlust rose to the peak even in front of the cavalry which is several times stronger than him.

And that is a mistake.

The cavalry that was trying to gain a control of their own emotions, couldnt help but be attracted by this sudden killing intent directed at him. The guardians understood that things might go out of hand and immediately intervened.

The strongest guardian of Krejin is only in the early stages of Divine Plane Consummation. Krejin might be a young master of the Telchines, but even they cannot produce the high level cultivators just for guarding some arrogant brats, that too when he was still in their own territory. Who would have known such a situation would emerge? All the guardians knew of the deeds Shadow cavalry committed. Even though these people looked down on the Noble league, it is just their own swollen pride, making them do that. they still knew what kind of force wields what kind of power and Shadow cavalry is no less powerful than any of the elite forces. They are not confident in defending their young master against them.

But the captainʼs reaction has been a tad bit late.

*BOOM*

The cavalry attacked. Krejin was in the direct line of the attack. He was dazed, but was brought back to his senses because of the yells and shouts of the Guardians. He hurriedly crushed a token.

*BOOM*

The attack met a barrier. However, Krejin still felt a bit of the impact. It hit him squarely in the chest and he was sent flying like a broken kite.

”Young master, use the transference token. Escape immediately.”

The guard captain spoke as he lunged at the shadow cavalry that came at them. Even though his words addressed the young master, they were also a hint to the other guards. One of the guards sprang into action and made their young master act immediately. He helped him crush the token and sent him away.

However, that was the extent of things they could do.

Shadow cavalry lost it and the massacre of the guards began.

Sam on the other hand used his transference scroll to return to the academy realm. He placed an anchor at a distant place from the Olympian region. From there, he took on harbinger to go back to the Olympian city. To submit his last and final trial.

He didnt travel at full speed. Because at the moment, Sam is a tad bit cautious, a bit nervous and also a bit excited.

Because if everything went as planned on all sides, a surprise would await him as soon as he arrived at the Olympian city. And that surprise would be of multiple layers.

He would find a large scale curfew all over the city, he would see the elders, instructors and students all tip-toeing around each other. He would also see a lot of chaos brewing beneath the shadows.

Most of all, he would see a giant problem awaiting for himself as soon as his arrival was announced. And that will lead him to see exactly what the Gambler academy truly capable of.

First thing Sam did as he neared the city was to use the remote link he had with the hub to see how many people are still using the wristbands and the bird puppets. To his surprise, there are still a significant number of them left.

He thought they would all be destroyed.

He even believed that the deans and elders might force everyone to destroy their devices after the info leak. But they are still many intact.

Maybe, after learning about the enemies that they dont even have any idea about, they have developed a love-hate relationship with the Hub.

Sam was blocked at the city gate. There are representatives of all the academies standing guard there. ”I am a student of Gambler academy returning from a labor quest. May I know why I am being barred from entrance?”

He asked if he really didnt know why.

”Wait here, until your academy members verify your identity. It is the new crisis protocol.”

One of the guards explained. Sam looked at the two students in Gambler academy uniforms. Both of them are fourth graders. He is not extremely familiar with them, but he knew a lot of significant details about them.

They are above mediocrity falling a bit short of remarkability.

They took a drop of blood from Sam and matched it with some device. After it glowed green only was he allowed entry.

Even that has a catch.

”Follow this team, that will escort you to the academy. Once you reach the academy, please report to student union or an Elder in charge. You are also advised to stay in the dorms. The remaining details will be given to you in the academy.”

Sam wasnʼt really surprised by so many security measures. But it is surprising to see how meticulously they are doing this.

”I am sorry, but I must report my success in the quest to the Poseidon academy and submit the item they requested.”

His eyes landed on the representative of the Poseidon academy that was there.

That guy immediately contacted the academy.

”Elder, a student came with a quest item and said he needs to submit it to our academy. How should I handle this?”

”It is not that important right now. Tell that guy to go back to his own academy. We will send a representative later on to collect it.”

That was the answer he got.

”Due to the security measures, you are told to return to Gambler academy, we will come and collect the item.”

Sam was a bit amused. Because he is sure that if the student mentioned his name instead of just ʼa studentʼ the answer would have been a lot different. Sam just nodded and left.

As he slowly walked through the streets along with the escort provided to him, he noticed several gazes from many hidden locations. Several messages were sent to all the academies and their student unions. Several messages about just one first grader. However, a first grader they have been looking for quite a while.
