Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2224  Confirmation

There are a few notes written beside each of the names listed on both the lists.

The notes indicated, what affiliation they belonged to, and the allegations these students had on them along with some other information. Then the Deans finally felt a sense of realization dawn on them. The students that were killed all had only one major common point.

They all belong to the Noble league.

Most of them, if not all of them are part of the Noble league families and even among them the largest percentage covered the low ranking families of the noble league. The core members of the noble league only included a certain ten families.

Based on the information the Deans secretly gathered, some of these ten families are the ones currently destroying the Vlachous bit by bit.

They even have an inkling of what the reason behind that destruction might be. So, they couldnʼt help but connect the dots. All the Deans fell silent. None of them voiced their thoughts, but all of them knew that their process right now is not much difference.

All of them more or less reached a similar conclusion.

After a few minutes of silence, one of them spoke.

”What should we do?”

”We cannot move rashly, we first need to confirm this. Bloody Chariotʼs moves are indeed a bit odd recently.

However, we cannot jump to a conclusion based on that and antagonize him. Whoever is behind the managers and the hub, they are certainly a powerful enemy. If Bloody Chariot is not related to them and we pushed him, then we will definitely make him and the Zeus academy another enemy that we shouldnʼt have.”

”But we canʼt deny that he is not related to them though. The attacks on the Elders that were kicked out on the academy. Direct attacks on the families that sheltered those elders. His repeated visits to the Hub in the recent years.

I also heard that he was building some space gates to god knows where.

Also, if you havenʼt noticed, the second grade and third grade students of the Zeus academy are nowhere to be seen.

Most of them are not here.”

”I also got information that some people from the Thor academy have visited the Zeus academy.” Another Dean chimed in.

”What you guys are saying does make sense. However, you are overlooking one major factor. The Managers.

If it was any other group of people, I would have agreed with you. But the managers were all greatly wronged by the academies. The Zeus academy and Icarus… they imprisoned that guy for years fearing that he might make most of his potential.

They deliberately hindered his cultivation progress.

His anger is clearly shown on the people of the Zeus academy. Did you forget how many people they put through the trials and how many people have got stuck doing the trials. I have never seen so many people 12 labors before.

Why would he collaborate with Bloody Chariot and Zeus academy all of a sudden?”

This question silenced everyone. It is indeed true, there is no motive and without that motive they are unable to identify a proper logic that would connect Bloody Chariot and the managers. The suspicious actions like attending the hub and the space gates, could most likely be ignored.

There is no concrete connection between that and the current scenario.

However, that thought just shows their ignorance about this whole matter. There is in fact a proper connection between everything. Done by someone behind the scenes that they are not even suspecting. At least not yet.

”So, how do we proceed with this?” One of the deans asked.

Dean of the Poseidon academy thought for a moment and said.

”First of all, we need to be united in this. We need to confirm and act together. If anyone has any intention of jumping ship, you better do it right now and donʼt give the rest a hard time in the middle of all this.

Only then would I express my thoughts any further.”

The room stayed silent for a moment after voiced his thoughts.

No one moved.

”Please understand that if you make a decision against this later, you will have the rest of the academies to deal with.”

With those words he continued his plan…

After everyone listened in on this, they felt a bit reassured. If they go by this, not only will they be able to confirm Bloody Chariotʼs position in all of this, they will also not lose out too much even if he is not involved in this.

It is actually a very simple plan. But they didnʼt think of it as they looked at this as a complicated situation.

Also, they are scared of Bloody Chariot, which could be the primary reason.

”I guess we are all agreeing on this, right?” Dean of Poseidon academy asked.

Everyone nodded in agreement. Then he took out the communication token, took a deep breath and called an Elder from the Zeus academy.

”I need a meeting with Bloody Chariot immediately. The rest of the Deans are also waiting. Please tell him to come to our academy.”

They waited for ten minutes, before Bloody Chariot made his way here.

At first, he didnt want to come at all, but he knew that these academies also experienced severe losses and he knew that their thoughts will be moving in a direction that he doesnt want them to move.

When he arrived at the meeting, his thoughts were only validated even more.

”Bloody chariot, we are thinking of dismantling the hub right now.”

Dean of the poseidon academy started the conversation with those words. Bloody Chariot froze for a moment and looked at the dean with a complicated gaze. But he maintained his silence, gesturing the other party to continue speaking.

”We all suffered severe losses and we also identified a pattern. Most of the kids that died belong to the Noble league. The families of the deceased are yet to receive the message, but once they do, they are going to swarm the academies.

We need to keep in mind that these families fund most of the resources all our academies need, including the Zeus academy.

We need to show them something, otherwise, we will become enemies with no chance of settling this issue.”

Bloody Chariot still stayed silent and looked at the rest.

Dean of the Hephaestus academy spoke.

”We sent people to track these miscreants, but there is no solid lead. We need to dismantle the hub and find out any clue. If not anything, we would at least know what are the possible realms these people are in based on the materials and the techniques used in building that place.”

*sigh*

Bloody Chariot finally opened his mouth. He knew that he couldnt keep silent any longer.

”First of all, I clearly understand the validity in your points. It is indeed difficult find a valid lead with things as they are.

And you are indeed answerable to the funders.

For that, I would like to help you.

We managed to attain some knowledge about the puppets similar to the ones the hub has distributed.

The puppets that we researched on are a bit different, but there are a lot of similarities with the hubʼs puppets. So, the knowledge can still be used.”

The deans were stunned by this. They didnt expect Bloody Chariot to be so cooperative.

However, they just let their thoughts run wild before listening to what he had to completely say.

”But I donʼt agree to dismantling the Hub. Not just dismantling, you shouldnt even think of removing a brick from it.

The hub stays.”

His voice turned cold and calm by the end of that statement and so did the atmosphere. They all exchanged a glance, not understanding what Bloody Chariot is getting at.

”Dont look confused. What you heard is right. As long as I am here, you will not touch the Hub, or I will fight you myself. It wouldnt be a war, and it wouldnt have too many rules. I will attack, you and every other person involved regardless of the cultivation level and consequences.

You will face my wrath in full.

If you need any other help in apprehending the criminals, you will have my full support.”

With that he stood up from his seat and stormed off.

His face turned uglier and uglier with every step he took as he slowly walked to his academy.

He remembered the day when he signed the contract with Joker in the hub on that day along with Gungnir.

The condition that Joker mentioned.

It didnʼt seem like much to him at all.

ʼOne year, protection of Hub. Not me, not the managers, nothing. Just the hub, physically. No reservationsʼ

Bloody Chariot was too involved in decoding those puppets, he didnt think too much. Limited period, no involvement of personnel. No promises to the protection of Joker… According to that promise, he could kill Joker himself, if he wanted to, but he cannot destroy the hub as a whole.

It didnt seem like a big deal.

But now, he knew how much of a pickle he is in. Particularly, when he thought about a clause that he himself included in the contract.

ʼAbsolute secrecy about the deal they made and the expedition.ʼ
