Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2128  Deans Meet

Raiosʼs whole journey to the mountain was not exactly smooth, but he always found a way to defeat the opponents and step further. And every time the opponent always ended up dead.

Not just him, a lot of people were dying in other paths as well. Except for the people who quit as soon as they sensed danger, everyone else died a tragic death and Sam recorded all these deaths. He has a very specific use for these videos and he is sure that it will come in handy.

Soon it is the end of the day. It has become a norm that the pocket dimensions usually take three days to finish except for some special ones.

Sam decided to keep this as a three day challenge as well. Except the format changed a little bit. Other dimensions were mostly continuous challenges, but this one however has rest times.

And at the end of the day, the first break was given. An announcement has been made.

ʼOnly top hundred people who were ahead in the path to reach the peak are left. The remaining candidates are eliminated and are waiting in the grey space for the competition to be over.ʼ

That was the announcement.

Even though it is a bit odd for such a large number of people to be eliminated at the same time, it is not unheard of. Every pocket dimension has its unique traits and they just attributed this elimination as the unique trait of this pocket dimension.

Even though it is a bit odd for such a large number of people to be eliminated at the same time, it is not unheard of. Every pocket dimension has its unique traits and they just attributed this elimination as the unique trait of this pocket dimension.

The candidates were given a chance to not just rest but also check up on the formation they were currently in.

Meanwhile, the city of the Olympian region is in chaos.

Dean of the Zeus Academy made such a big decision to lockdown the whole city. Even when the city guards tried to persuade him otherwise, he didnʼt budge. He acted with blunt decisiveness and his words hit like slaps to their faces.

The personnel of the Zeus Academy searched every single person in the whole city with the energy signatures.

There werenʼt many people there. Most of them are inside the new pocket dimension. However, the people they caught were captured and forcefully dragged back to the Zeus Academy. The Dean decided to make them cough up if they do belong to the flaming skulls.

They even took out a special formation that could identify the truth from the lies.

It is not perfect and it is not as efficient as the one in the judicial court, but they work fine. Anyway, the Dean didnʼt need a full confirmation as long as they are suspicious enough, he is ready to do whatever is needed.

As things are like this, what the Dean didnʼt know is that everything is being recorded. Either from his own bird puppet or the bird puppets of other people, everything is being recorded and sent back to hub.

Icarus is collecting all of it intently.

Their primary goal in the Olympian region is to tear down the Zeus Academy and for that, this is the best opportunity.

He has dirt on everyone else in the Academy, even the Grand elders that are on the same level as the Dean.

But the same couldnʼt be said about the Dean.

He had a pretty clean slate. Until now. Even now, it wasnʼt because he was corrupt or anything. Its just that became exhausted and his frustration took over. Until now, the flaming skulls only ever sent first grade members.

It could be said it is comprised of mostly first graders. And to think that he was being toyed and played around by these first graders… it just hurt his ego after taking so many blows from so many sides. The cases, the financial situation of the Olympian region, the issue with the other academies, all of these are big problems.

He cannot possibly take his anger out on these troubles.

The only one thatʼs left is this ʼsmallʼ issue. He wanted to see how these first graders will escape from his grasp when he becomes serious.

In that thought process, without even knowing he is giving Icarus what he needed for such a long time.

That night not a single person in the Olympian region rested. Everyone was focused on the Zeus Academyʼs activities.

That night they interrogated all the suspicious individuals that are not the students of the Academies in the city and concluded that none of them have any links to the flaming skulls.

No matter how harsh he wanted to be, he hesitated a bit with the academy students. He arranged a meeting with the Deans.

The Deans who saw the situation of the Olympian region can guess what he wanted from them. But they all feigned ignorance and went to meet him in the meeting room.

It is a basic large conference room with a long table. Everyone sat leisurely as they pleased. Someone stood at the window, someone sat leaning against the side table and someone had their elbows on the table with the palms mounting their face.

Dean of the Zeus Academy didnʼt mind.

He is way too frustrated and worked up to care about such small things.

”I want to interrogate your students as well. I need your permission.”

”Interrogation? What interrogation?”

One of the Deans asked.

”Bitch, Please. I know that you all know what I was doing the whole day. I want to find those flaming skulls bastards no matter what. And I need to interrogate the students from you academy as well. I already interrogated every other citizen candidate that is currently available. There are only a few students left behind in the city, the rest are all in the Pocket dimension, so I want to finish interrogating these people before the pocket dimension closes.”

”There is no way I am letting you anywhere near my students. I have seen your craziness, donʼt let it spread to my kids.”

One of the Deans rejected immediately.

Dean of Zeus Academy sighed and said.

”Donʼt be like that. Everyone of us here wants to get those legacy inheritances. Since the news is already out, there is no point in hiding. There are other pocket dimensions with the legacy inheritances as well.

There is a good chance the Flaming skulls know about it and we need to find them soon. We have only four days before they finish assimilating the first legacy inheritance.

You must have all seen the situation in the city right now. The external powers are all over the place. The players are increasing in this game. Tensions are high, if we donʼt come to a consensus now, everything will blow up in all of your pretty faces.”

”Still, I heard what you were doing to them while interrogating. You are making them reveal their secrets. You cannot do that. Their secrets exposed, they will become way too vulnerable. I canʼt weaken my first graders. They are the foundations for the next.”

Another Dean said.

”What would I gain by revealing their secrets. It is all to find out the legacy inheritance. The flaming skulls has been running rampant for a while. What do you think will happen if they get their hands on other legacy inheritances as well?

Do you think other forces will believe that we werenʼt able to catch them?

They will use it as an excuse and wage another war. Do you want another Academy war? I am sure you didnʼt forget the last war. It wasnʼt very kind to you.”

The dean shut it down.

He didnʼt really want to remember that academy war days.

After some discussion, they finally agreed on one thing.

The Academy deans themselves decided to interrogate the marked the students. However, the other deans will also be present, but only the respective deans will be responsible to ask questions from their respective students.

The rest of them will just witness the process.

After everyone came to consensus, one of the asked.

”So, its all well and good with us. What about the Gambler Academy?”

Everyone turned to look at Dean of the Zeus Academy. They all noticed that Dean Wharton was not in the discussion. Its not because of the lack of invitation. He was invited, its just that he decided to ignore it.

He knew what this meeting is for and he doesnʼt want to allow his students to be interrogated, so he didnʼt bother feigning ignorance like the other deans. He was direct with his approach and just didnʼt bother attending the meeting.

”I will talk to him. No matter what the flaming skulls should be purged. I am sick and tired of it.”

Dean of Zeus Academy said and opened the door.

”I wonder, if there is a hidden meaning behind Whartonʼs absence. After all, with all the tricks the flaming skulls perform, isnʼt it more likely that they could be Gambler Academy students?

What if it is true and he already know? What if he is just trying to hide it and thatʼs why he didnʼt attend the meeting?”
