Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2102  One Slap fixed it

Dayusʼ anger flared.

He was very frustrated to begin with. He has been cooped up inside a closed room, tied to a chair unable to do anything but think.

And all he could think about was, how humiliating it was of him to get caught by his peer as soon as he set foot in the Olympian region.

This was supposed to be his territory.

Him being the representative of Zeus in this game, whenever he stepped in an Olympian territory, he was given the best treatment possible.

He could lord around people stronger than him, he could enjoy the women that are otherworldly, he could fill his coffers to the brim and they would thank him for emptying theirs.

He was expecting a similar treatment here, in fact, he was kind of promised that treatment by Zeus.

When he was stuck in that room, a thought did cross his mind.

The dean should know that unless he arrived the Pocket dimensions wouldnt open. Since they opened, that means Dayus was here, however, he wasnʼt in the Academy.

This should have prompted Dean to search for him.

Dayus knew that it would be hard to find him since Sam was the one that hid him, still the Dean is a Divine Plane Consummate Cultivator, maybe, just maybe there was a chance.

He hoped they at least made the effort.

But only after he came out did he understand, there was no such thing. The Dean didnʼt even inform the guards about Dayusʼ possible arrival, much less searching for him.

So, he had to wait outside the deanʼs office like a peasant and when the Dean finally came, he was slapped by an instructor and was forced to kneel down.

All these bottled up frustrations finally exploded.

”How dare you? How dare you hit me? How dare you attack me? Do you know who I am?”

Dayus roared. His face turned red and his veins are bulging.

The dean who initially ignored the student turned around and looked at the fuming Dayus.

Dayus looked at the Dean and spat on the ground.

”I am Dayus. RING ANY BELL?”

Dean jerked on the spot. He held his forehead in frustration.

”Please stand up.”

He walked forward and helped Dayus stand up before leading him inside.

Dayus looked at the instructor who hit him coldly. The instructor at the moment is infinitely stronger than Dayus. However, he is not afraid. He is that arrogant because of the backing he has.

One must say, Dayus perfectly fits with the profile of an Olympian.

Undeserving pride and arrogance.

Unyielding ego that stems from nothing but backing.

Unstoppable mouth that gets them killed.

Every olympian Sam killed until now more or less fit the criteria.

Dayus sat inside the office and looked at the Dean with righteous anger. Even without asking the Dean knew what Dayus wanted to know.

ʼWhy has the dean not found him?ʼ

And the dean only has one answer which he is a bit ashamed to say out loud.

He forgot.

Plain and simple. The whole Academy realm this year has been way too eventful and he couldnʼt stop to think of Dayus. He was the last thing on his mind. The worst part is when the gods sent a message saying that the pocket dimensions are good to go, the first thing that should have come to mind his Dayus.

However, he didnʼt.

He just forgot.

”I was kidnapped as soon as I entered this realm. Just four streets away from here, I was captured out in the open. I thought the Zeus Academy would be competent enough to notice my disappearance.

However, I was only disappointed.”

”You were abducted? Who did it?”

Dean asked with a frown. However Dayus didnʼt want to answer it. It was a matter of disgrace.

”Forget it. Can you just process my admission? I also need your help with recruiting a few people under my wing. They need to be competent individuals. I need them for the further explorations of the pocket dimensions.”

”You want to make a crew of your own?”

”Yes, it is absolutely necessary.”

”There is only two days left for the first pocket dimension to appear. It will be hard for us to put a crew together. After all, you are a new face and no one really knows you. How can they trust and follow you in these two days?”

Dayus also understood this point and this only made him more frustrated. All of this is because he was trapped like an idiot.

He thought for a moment and spoke.

”Then can I bring a few of my people the other realms? Can you just admit them?”

”That is not possible as well. The admissions are closed. The only reason you are able to enter the Academy now is because of your special status.

However, even that special status doesnʼt warrant you to get more admissions.”

*BAM*

Dayus slammed his palm on the desk and yelled.

”THEN WHAT THE FUCK SHOULD I DO? IF YOU HAD COME FOR ME BEFORE, I WOULDNʼT HAVE BEEN IN THIS PICKLE.

I FOUGHT WITH A WHOLE PLANET AND HURRIED HERE IN HOPES OF CREATING MY CREW. BUT BECAUSE OF YOUR ACADEMYʼS INCOMPETENCE, I…”

*PAK*

He was in the middle of his ranting, when a slap landed across his face and slammed him to the ground. Dean looked at Dayus coldly.

His aura raged and suppressed Dayus in his position. Dayus who was stuck fell in a daze for a second. He couldnʼt even comprehend this situation. Until now, whenever he reached a place that belonged to Olympians, his treatment was extraordinary to say the least.

He was treated like he was their ancestor.”

He kind of felt the Zeus Academy will be like that. Zeus explicitly told him about the ʼspecial treatmentʼ he will get here.

He looked at the Dean and wanted to scream, but just that gaze made him stop.

”Mr. Dayus. I donʼt know what gave you the confidence to rant in my office straight to my face.

The first time I let it go because, Lord Zeus indeed told me to take care of you and your disappearance was completely out of my hands and reach. I should have indeed kept a better eye out for you.

But that is it.

You have no right to treat me with disrespect. You might be something worth in other areas, here I am the Dean and you are a student. If you need help, I will try my best to accommodate you. However, if you act like a raging bitch, I will treat you like one.

Now get back on your seat and explain what you need and why you need it so that we can solve this problem.”

Dayus obediently sat down and looked at Dean who is looking at another document as if he wasnʼt even interested in the conversation.

”Speak.”

Dean commanded.

”Zeus has promised special rewards for the pocket dimensions of the Olympian realm this time. Almost every one of them will have a hidden objective.

It could be a separate space with trials or it could be an added difficulty, or an extra hidden threat, it depends on the dimension and even I donʼt know exactly what it would be.

The presence of these wouldnʼt impact the regular operation of the pocket dimensions.

However, if these hidden things were tackled and solved, the rewards would be great. And the rewards are huge.”

”You are saying rewards this and that. What are those rewards exactly? Do you have any information?”

”I donʼt know to a full extent. All I can tell you is they are related to legacy inheritances.”

”Legacy inhereitance?”

Dean frowned. iT wasnʼt an unfamiliar thing for him. In fact, he is only way too familiar with it. Legacy inheritance is not just some inheritance of techniques and treasures, it is an inheritance of cultivation, strength, insights and bloodlines…

When people ascend to godhood they leave behind Divine incarnations to do their bidding in the Divine realms where the Gods donʼt have access.

Apart from that, there are some special Divine incarnations that were created solely for the purpose of passing on the inheritance.

Divine Incarnation is a replica of the god and that includes their bloodline, constitution, insights and many more. The only thing they donʼt have is ability to cultivate and grow.

So, for that reason, when these incarnations are at the end of their lifespan, they enter a special state. They leave behind the physical body and extremely small fragment of their soul before dissipating their consciousness.

The person who is able to inherit this, will gain changes in constitution, the insights and even the bloodlines that were left behind in this Incarnation.

In fact, in a twisted way it is very similar to how Sam managed to change Stoneʼs state from a useless bum to a machine of combat.

The only problem is, the Legacy inheritances are so rare and so sought after that when one appeared last time, the Academy realm was thrown into a state of war.
