Chapter 2097 Going to Zeus Academy

”Boy, I am talking to you.” Theron spoke with anger apparent in his tone.

*BANG*

Sam couldnʼt care less about it. He just swung the sword again and this time the barrier was strengthened a bit and the projection caught a hold of the blade.

”You are not going to kill her. Not today.”

Sam looked at Theron and finally spoke.

”I heard about you.”

”Everyone in the Academy realm has.”

”Are you the one behind this attack?”

”Partially, yes. She came to me for help and from the looks of it, it was wasted.”

”So, you do know of her actions. Then you should also the actions have consequences.”

”Of course, that is why I am making sure that she is not dead. She has to pay me back for the losses she caused me. So, I cannot let you kill her.”

”She has to pay me back for plotting against me”

”My debt is bigger and I am stronger. As you said, stronger one wins.”

”Right now, in this moment, in this location, there is no one stronger than me. So, I win.”

”You are one tough nut to crack. You amuse me lad.” Theron smiled, it seems like he was indeed really amused by Sam. He paused and spoke after a short break.

”I will let you live for a short while. But today, you are not killing her.”

*BOOM*

With that a light explosion covered them whole and Pearl disappeared along with it. Sam gritted his teeth in frustration. He should have killed her without that nonsense conversation. He is angry. His friends and him were endangered in this place.

He gritted his teeth and turned to the few captives that are left. He decided to direct his anger to on to them.

”You guys leave. You need to focus on digesting that nourishing energy. If you leave it like that, your bodies wonʼt function for quite some time.”

Sam spoke and his friends left. White watched as all of the elites of this region obey Samʼs words and those elites included Vidyuth too. He started having some doubts. Vidyuth came to White and said.

”Thank him. He saved your life.”

White didnʼt respond. He just stared at Sam for a while before exiting the realm. When his friends were about to leave, Sam stopped them for a moment and spoke.

”Go to the Hub and compile all of your memories to create a video of the whole incident. Omit the beasts of course. The spirit of the hub can manage to do it. Collect the compiled video and give to your Deans.

File a compliant and make the whole incident public. Tell them that if they do not give a proper explanation, you will quit the academy.”

They nodded and didnʼt ask Sam any questions.

After they left, Sam focused on the remaining group of people. He didnʼt ask them any questions, he just put them through immense pain and killed them one by one performing the soul searches.

He extracted every piece of information he could, but there is not much about Theron in there. The only information he found was regarding the clans and families that these soldiers belonged to and what their actual orders were.

At least this is enough for Sam. For now.

Since he faced such provocation, it would be out of character for him to not retaliate in kind. And the first step in that retaliation could start from here. A dozen plans popped up in his mind even without putting much thought.

He exited the realm.

His friends are still with the guard who stayed there. He walked to them and Watt informed.

”The guard didnʼt let us leave immediately when he saw our states. He believed the situation has to be reported to the Dean of Zeus Academy first.”

Sam just nodded and soon the Dean of Zeus Academy is there. He heard the whole account and felt his heart skip a bit. Sam didnʼt speak a single word. His anger and the slight killing intent constantly seeping out of his body, is very clear that he is pissed beyond all boundaries.

”Did Pearl really do this?” The Dean asked in disbelief. Almost as if he didnʼt want to believe it.

”If you are done with this, I would like to fucking leave. I have a war to prepare for.”

Sam spat through his teeth and the guard frowned.

”Hey…” He was about to rebuke Sam, but the Dean stopped him. He knew more about Sam than the rest and because of Zeusʼ bias against Sam, he gave extra information and hammered it into Deanʼs head.

He knew things are not going to end well.

He has half a mind to stop Sam and talk to him right now to see if he can resolve anything, but Sam is not even making any eye contact and he constantly tried to leave from the side. It is apparent that he is in no talking mood.

Dean pursed his lips and let Sam go. The rest are all from the Zeus Academy and they can wait.

At this moment, dean suddenly realized.

”Where is Bronte?”

The rest of them were stunned. They completely forgot about this guy. As if on cue Bronte exited the portal. He looked at the group awkwardly. He felt ashamed.

”What happened to you?”

Dean asked.

”I was stuck in the mental test for longer than I thought. And the barrier protected my body during that huge battle. I only finished now, but the sin was already cleared up.”

He was dejected as he said this. Samʼs friends all wanted to congratulate him for his lucky stars. This guy lucked out real big.

Everyone left and went back to the respective academies, not before stopping in the hub and making the videos out of the memories. Sam on the other hand, just went to the Gamblerʼs Academy and knocked on the door of the Student Council.

When they saw Samʼs appearance, they were stunned. Crow who is the current person in charge of the student president shuddered as he felt Samʼs immense killing intent. His is still drenched in blood, with his eyes sharp.

”What happened?”

”Call Dove. This is above pay grade.”

Sam took a seat without even asking and closed his eyes, with his legs stretched out a bit. He acted like he owned the place. Within five minutes Dove is there. She looked at Sam with her wide in disbelief.

”What happened?”

She asked. She knew about Pseudo hell well enough to know that the sin wonʼt bleed.

”Did you kill other students in there?” She couldnʼt help but ask. Sam frowned and shook his head.

He waved his hand and a bunch of heads fell on the floor.

”We were attacked. Pearl of Zeus Academy colluded with a few clans and organizations that are part of the Olympian rule and came with a plan to kill us. They tweaked the pseudo-hellʼs formation, I donʼt know how, but there was an interference that endangered our lives.”

Samʼs bird then played a video. It is the video that his friends created at the Hub. It was sent directly to Sam from there.

Everyone watched this and Doveʼs facial expression became more and more ferocious with every passing second.

*CRACK* *CRASH*

The arm-rest of her chair was crushed and she stood up abruptly, breaking the whole chair.

She looked at Sam and spoke.

”Get ready. We need to go somewhere.”

”Where?”

”To the Zeus Academy.”

”Then I donʼt need to get ready.”

Sam just stood up and walked out of the room. Dove didnʼt know why he wanted to come out in such a dirty state, but on the second though, he looked way too intimidating this way.

Both of them walked to the Zeus Academy and everyone on the street noticed how gruesome Sam looked. It is almost unavoidable.

At the gates of the Academy, when the guards saw them, they stopped. Their Dean already said something about possible visitors from the Gamblerʼs Academy.

”Please wait here.”

One of the guards spoke while the other took the communication token. He directly contacted the Deanʼs attendant. Dove on the hand couldnʼt muster up the patience for it.

*PAK*

One hit, a slap no less. Sam watched as the guard stood there stunned for a second, before his knees buckled and fell on the ground face first. His body started jerking. His body seemed to have lost all the function.

The other guard saw this and was about to speak.

*PAK*

Another hit and this guy also fell on the ground. A lot of students of the Dean academy that saw this were shocked and some of the immediately ran into contact their guys.

”Letʼs go in.”

Sam followed her. They walked slowly, but full of confidence.

”Dove, what the hell are you doing?”

A lady running yelled at Dove. Sam recognized with her just a glance. She was part of the Fourth Grade students and he saw her back during that little event in the Arena.

She was one of the faces that he clearly remembered.
