Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer

Chapter 2093 Lightning and Shadows

Silver color lightning sprung out of his palm and shot into the Sky.

Followed by that came out a small metal bird cage and landed on his palm. The metal base of the cage transformed into a glove that fit right on to his palm before it spread with lightning crackling all over.

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

The opponents saw the lightning glow and something metallic appearing on Samʼs hand, but they didnʼt see what exactly that is. By then, their attacks have connected.

”Donʼt wait. Attack with one more round.”

Pearl commanded. The opponents felt it was unnecessary. It was more than a hundred attacks, even if it is a Middle stage Divine Plane Initiation cultivator and even a late stage one, they wouldnʼt be able to take it.

However, they just wanted to be sure.

*BOOM*

*BOOM*

The attacks landed with no resistance whatsoever. Pearl still wasnʼt sure and told them to continue.

”Warriors, move forward. Drummers, donʼt stop what you are doing. Increase the intensity.” Pearl is paranoid. She didnʼt want to take any chances.

The drummers obeyed her commands and did as they were told. The warriors approached slowly and Pearl also joined along with them.

Around two dozen people are advancing towards Samʼs location as the attacks kept on landing.

”Stop. Warriors attack.”

The long range attackers stopped, while the warriors made their move. Sword rays and energy condensed javelins. Conjured fists and palm strikes, all landed. Even though Sam is in the air, the shockwaves caused a huge dust cloud and the smoke from the previous attacks made it impossible for them to see it with naked eye.

They let their senses spread. However, the next second, they didnʼt need to spread their senses.

*SWOOSH*

Metal keening could be heard and from within the cloud eight metallic tentacles shout out as they are laced silver lightning. They caught a hold of eight different opponents making the remaining sixteen of them move away.

The dust cleared.

Sam is standing in the middle of what looked like a metallic cage. His hand is raised up with it connected to the dome of the metallic cage and from the bottom eight tentacles shot out. The whole cage and every single inch of it is full of condensed silver lightning.

A wave of energy shot out of Samʼs body and entered the cage, the next moment….

”ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH…”

”NO...…”

They saw as the eight people that got caught let out soul searing screams. They saw as their special armors and the luxurious robes, melting and turning into ashes and then their hair and finally their bodies and bones.

Within a second, nothing was left of them.

The tentacles retracted back to Sam and the rest of the thunder prison disappeared. It went back to being a glove on his palm. Everyone stopped in their tracks. Sam could almost smell the sweat of utter fear coming from them.

The smell of prey.

”A….ATTACK HIM.”

Pearl yelled with her voice quivering in fright. The warriors were about to move, but Harbinger appeared beneath Sam and propelled him into the sky. He activated his fire elemental fusion.

*SWISH*

His bow whistled through the air and landed in his hands. Flaming arrows conjured.

”Mental Attacks. Increase the mental attacks.”

*BUM**DUM* *DUM *BUM*

The drumming intensified and Sam could practically see his vision turning distorted. Ripples invaded his sight and he could feel a weird heaviness attack his mind. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The next moment, his vision cleared.

*SWOOSH*

A flaming arrow, burning with golden flames left his bow.

*BOOM*

With a loud and violent explosion, it landed on one of the drummers standing in the formation. However, it didnʼt kill him instantly.

”ARGGGGGHH….. AGHHH….”

Everyone could see him burning in those golden flames his body burning up layer by layer. The molten armors, burned clothes, burned hair and finally burned flesh and bones. They could almost see his blood vaporizing in front of their eyes.

The process was fast enough to consider it an instant death. However, they could see every step of that burning process and they donʼt know if they should really consider it as such.

*SWISH*

Sam dodged the attack of a warrior nearby as he aimed his arrow at a different person within the drummers formation. The warriors are hot on his tail. However, Samʼs harbinger and its agile manuevers in the sky made it impossible for them to catch on.

At this moment, Pearl commanded the rest of them to launch the attacks.

Sam is surrounded from all directions once again and they are swarming at him.

Still, they managed to have a semblance of coordination as they gave enough gaps to let their long-range attackers attack him.

*SWOOSH* *SWOOSH*

Two more flaming arrows shot out.

One attacks two incoming attacks, while the second one went for another drummer within the formation.

”Drummers. Donʼt stop.”

Pearl commanded.

*SWOOSH*

When the third arrow came, she threw an attack of her own to destroy it.

Sam looked at Pearl who stood afar from him and frowned. Taking this chance one of the warriors closed the distance and came at Sam with a Spear.

The next moment, a spear flew through the air and stabbed the warrior from his back and passed through him. The blood-coated spear landed in Samʼs hand as he stabbed another person around him and used his body as leverage to make a hard turn with the harbinger.

*SWISH*

A wind blade shot out cutting the approach of a few warriors.

Sam kicked the guy that got stuck on the spear and threw it at an incoming long-range dark energy attack.

The next moment, his fire fusion is gone and is replaced with shadow fusion.

He made another quick turn and kicked a warrior that came at him. The leg pierced through the manʼs stomach like a spear and held him there. This stopped the remaining two warriors that were closest to him.

Sam stood like that and aimed his bow.

*SWOOSH*

An arrow conjured purely of the dark and shadow energy was shot through the mouth of the soldier got stabbed with Samʼs leg and hit the mage who threw the dark elemental attack.

Sam then used the body hanging on his leg like a sandbag and threw it at the nearest warrior.

*SWOOSH*

Another arrow, went through the dead body and exploded on the opponent behind him.

*BOOM*

At this moment, an explosion hit Sam beneath the harbinger and threw him off balance. A warrior took the chance and swung his sword at Samʼs neck who was falling upside down.

Sam used his bow to block the attack.

*SWOOSH*

Reaper appeared from god knows where and landed in his other hand. With a single swing, the manʼs head was cut off.

*BOOM*

He kicked the falling head with shadow energy and dark energy hitting a different mage.

*BOOM* Void style as usual worked wonders and exploded the main into several pieces.

Sam tangled with the warriors in the close range and the mages in the long range. Even if more people wanted to attack him, they couldnʼt do so.

Every single one of Samʼs arrows landed precisely where it needs to destroy the formation and the long-range attackers are losing freedom since a lot of warriors attacked Sam from close range.

If they gave him more space, Sam became faster and in turn much more lethal. This left them in a dilemma. Pearl kept on screaming orders, but nothing managed to stop Sam.

She started crying, weeping and almost sobbing in fright and horror. However, she still had to shout out the orders to make sure they could kill Sam.

But a nagging feeling deep inside her heart told her, that everything she is trying is going to be futile, and as if to prove her point, she heard a scream from a woman who is attacking Sam from mid—range.

She saw as the dead body of the drummer who was shot by Samʼs elemental energy arrow twitched and from within it rose the shadow undead of that person.

That shadow undead held the sword and the shield and drummed heavily.

The woman felt her senses being attacked and the next moment the shadow jumped on her and stabbed her through her neck.

Pearlʼs eyes widened in horror.

She hurriedly looked in different directions, trying to point out the locations where the shadow arrows were shot by Sam.

But it was too late.

”ARGHH…..”

”EVERYONE CAREFUL. UNDEAD…”

She could see several undead sprouting up from the deadbodies and attacking her soldiers through the rear.

Her heart dropped. This is the worst that could happen. At least she couldnʼt think of anything worse than this happening.

”WE GOT HIM. PUSH FORWARD.”

She suddenly heard the yelling of the warriors and looked at Sam.

She recognized the people who shouted. They are a team of four elites who are trained in taking down high-value targets.

She looked at them hopefully. Two kicks landed on Samʼs abdomen simultaneously and he was thrown into the air.

This is the best chance.

”ATTACK.”

She didnʼt know what to say, so she just yelled.
