Bride of Retribution: Aloof Billionaire's Dominant Game

”No need to wear it, you can’t tell in winter anyway.” Charlotte’s eyes slowly closed, her long lashes trembling like wings, stirring his heart with a soft itch.

By the time he had peeled off Charlotte’s dress from her body, she was already sound asleep.

Was she that tired? Not even having dinner?

His large hand gently caressed her smooth back, her skin white as cream, with an incomparably delicate texture. Each inch was full of elasticity, and as his hand brushed over it, it would blush faintly like enticing cherry blossoms.

Not wanting to disturb her, he picked up a cashmere blanket and gently draped it over her bare body, then quietly closed the door.

The housekeeper came to the study’s door and knocked lightly. A deep male voice came from inside: ’Come in...’

”Young Master, do you have any instructions?” The housekeeper stopped two meters from Atlas Hallow’s desk, bowed slightly, and respectfully asked.

”Is it handled?” Atlas’s gaze fell on the computer, his thin lips parting slightly to inquire about the morning’s matter.

The housekeeper naturally understood what Atlas meant: ”This morning, Miss Walker has already left, not taking anything with her, just two sets of clothes.” The housekeeper quickly responded, almost calling Ava Walker the Second Young Madam, but remembered she signed the divorce agreement in the morning, and although not yet processed at the civil affairs bureau, she should indeed be called Miss Walker.

”When Charlotte is at home, I don’t want anyone disturbing her, especially the Second Madam.” Atlas felt a slight discomfort, like a soft thorn in his flesh. Though everything seemed calm, he didn’t want any more mistakes.

”Understood.” The housekeeper knew immediately what Atlas meant: to prevent the Second Madam from getting close to the Young Madam. But this was difficult since the Second Madam was a mistress, and he was just a servant. How could he really stop the Second Madam if she wanted to see the Second Young Madam?

So everything must be done with utmost caution.

”Don’t let her go to Charlotte. If she says anything, tell her it’s my idea. Let her come to me without disturbing Charlotte.” Atlas slowly raised his eyes, his face exuding authority as he looked at the housekeeper.

These words were like an imperial edict, making his job much easier. After the housekeeper left the study, Atlas handled some business before returning to the room.

She was still curled up on the sofa like a sleeping lotus, her soft skin blushing with a faint pink. When his fingers touched it, he wondered if they would stain with her hue.

His gentle touch woke her. Actually, she didn’t sleep long outside the actual sleep time, just a few naps, and her spirit seemed fully restored.

”Want to eat something?” Atlas’s greedy gaze lingered on her shoulders, the clear collarbone exuding a suffocating allure.

Charlotte then realized when her dress had been taken off. She tugged at the blanket on her body and lazily said, ”I want some tomato and egg noodles, a bit sour...”

”That’s simple.” He bent down to kiss her shoulder, then called the housekeeper to have the kitchen prepare a bowl immediately.

The feeling of having no clothes on was fantastic. Sleeping naked was actually very comfortable, and she had no intention of getting dressed, still sitting on the sofa.

It should be around now. In another two months, her belly would be bigger, and even if she didn’t gain much weight, she would resemble a frog, having no courage to sleep naked then.

The kitchen had prepared a lot, but didn’t expect the Young Madam to want just a bowl of egg noodles, which was very simple. It was ready in a short time.

The housekeeper brought the bowl of colorful tomato and egg noodles to Atlas Hallow’s room and knocked lightly. The door was quickly opened a crack, and Atlas reached out to take the bowl before closing the door again.

The housekeeper did not dare to raise his eyes and quickly went downstairs.

The large white porcelain bowl contained noodles that tasted indeed nice, the tomatoes sour, the eggs tender, and the noodles chewy. Charlotte ate with big bites, making small slurping sounds as she savored every bit, like tasting some earthly delicacy.
