Gender-swapped Beautiful Girl, the Godly Rich System Takes Me to New Heights!

221: We...we’ll just watch you jump from below.Soon, they arrived at a well-known bungee jumping spot.

Looking up, the jumping tower towered into the clouds, giving off a sense of oppression even standing at the bottom.

A long, thin platform extended out from the cliff face; below it looked bottomless, with deep blue seawater, but the distance was dizzying.

”So high...” Lin Xiaoya muttered softly.

Qin Yu’s heart was actually pounding a bit, but he forced himself to stay firm: ”What’s there to be afraid of? There’s a safety rope!”

The staff member stepped forward and explained the precautions in detail.

His voice was steady, but the content made one’s heart race.

”Bungee jumping challenges not just height, but everyone’s inner self. Standing on the edge of the platform, facing the abyss, requires great courage. It’s normal for many people to back down right before jumping.”

”Those with high blood pressure, heart disease, spinal problems, etc., absolutely cannot participate. Once you decide to jump, you must trust the equipment and trust us. Try to spread your body out and enjoy the process of free falling.”

Su Qing and Su Ya’s faces turned pale as they listened.

Su Ya subconsciously touched her chest, while Su Qing tightly gripped her younger sister’s hand.

They glanced at each other, both seeing fear in the other’s eyes.

Su Qing thought that as the older sister and the Housekeeper, she should be more composed, but her legs didn’t seem to want to listen.

Su Ya’s mind was filled with ’too high,’ ’what if I fall,’ ’what if the rope...’

Lei Jun listened carefully while observing everyone’s reactions.

She noticed Zhao Ya was listening very intently; Tony’s eyes were shining as he muttered about the ’aesthetic of falling’; Qin Yu was forcing himself to stay calm; Lin Xiaoya was purely scared but trying not to show it; the Su sisters were truly terrified.

She found it very interesting; people with different personalities reacted completely differently to the same challenge.

”Who’s first?” the staff member asked.

A moment of silence.

They had just experienced life and death on the plane, but now having to actively jump off a high platform was another kind of psychological test.

”Me!” Zhao Ya was the first to step forward.

She looked calm as she walked to the equipment area.

As the staff member put the safety gear on her, she checked it very carefully, touching the ropes and buckles to ensure they were secure.

Compared to the rappelling training in the military, this was nothing more than a greater height and an uncontrolled drop.

She trusted professional equipment.

Standing on the edge of the platform, she took a deep breath and, without much hesitation or even a specific mental preparation, leaped!

Her figure fell rapidly, and a short, hearty—

”Ha!” sound came from her. She was soon pulled up, bounced, and stabilized after a few times.

A signal came from below that she had landed safely.

Zhao Ya’s decisiveness encouraged everyone.

Tony was the second to go up. While putting on the gear, he said, ”This is performance art! I want to feel the lines of the wind cutting through my body!”

When he stood up there, he actually tidied his already neat hair, then with an orchid finger gesture, he fell back in a peculiar, almost curtain-call-like posture. A long scream of ”Oh My God————” echoed in the air, even carrying a bit of a dramatic vibrato.

Lin Xiaoya watched the people in front of her, her heart beating like a drum.

She remembered Lei Jun’s god-like performance on the plane.

Sister Lei could even get through that kind of desperate situation, so what was bungee jumping?

She couldn’t lose too much face!

When it was her turn, her legs felt weak, and she practically shuffled to the edge of the platform. Closing her eyes, not daring to look down, she repeatedly thought, ”Sister Lei is watching me, Sister Lei is watching me.” Gritting her teeth, she fell straight forward. A scream instantly burst from her throat, terrifyingly high-pitched.

Qin Yu bit the bullet and went up.

He didn’t want to show weakness in front of the girls, especially in front of Lei Jun.

He stood up there, glanced down, and immediately felt dizzy, nearly losing his footing.

He quickly looked up at the sky, cursed a few times in his head, roared to give himself courage, and jumped with his eyes closed.

As he fell, he felt like his heart was going to fly out of his mouth, but after a few bounces, it actually felt a bit exhilarating, and he couldn’t help but howl a few times.

Now, only Lei Jun, Su Qing, and Su Ya were left.

Su Qing and Su Ya huddled close together, their faces pale.

Watching the others jump and hearing those screams didn’t encourage them; instead, it made them even more afraid.

So high, so fast—just watching it felt suffocating.

”Boss... I, I don’t think I can do it.” Su Ya’s voice trembled with a sob.

Su Qing also said with difficulty, ”Miss, we... we’ll just watch you jump from down here.”

Lei Jun walked over to them. She didn’t force them, her voice calm.

”Back on the plane, we all thought it might be the end. But we all pulled through. Now, with our feet on solid ground and absolute safety protection, do you really not dare to challenge yourselves?”

She looked at Su Qing.

”Su Qing, where is the courage you have when trying new recipes while cooking?”

Then she looked at Su Ya.

”Su Ya, where is the patience and meticulousness you show when organizing those complex walk-in closets? Isn’t that another way of overcoming difficulties?”

Tony had already come back up safely. His excitement hadn’t faded as he also came over to persuade them: ”Sister Qing, Little Ya, jump once! Feel it! That feeling is like being reborn! Like an out-of-body experience and then coming back! It’s very artistic! Very transparent!”

Lin Xiaoya also patted her chest and said with lingering fear but excitement, ”Really, I was scared to death before jumping, but after finishing, it feels great! It’s like all my worries are gone!”

Qin Yu gasped for breath and echoed, ”Yeah! It’s awesome! It’s worth a try!”

Everyone chimed in with their persuasion.

Su Qing looked at her sister and then at Lei Jun’s encouraging eyes, her heart struggling.

She remembered the despair when the plane lost control. Compared to the current safety, bungee jumping really seemed like nothing.

As the older sister, she should take the lead.

Su Ya was a bit swayed by what everyone said, but fear still had the upper hand.

Finally, Su Qing gritted her teeth: ”Okay... I’ll try. Xiaoya, shall we go together?”

Su Ya looked at her sister, then looked down, tears almost coming out, but she eventually nodded with difficulty.

The two of them supported each other as they went to put on the gear. Their movements were stiff, and their fingers were shaking.

When they stood on the platform, they didn’t dare look down at all. They closed their eyes tight, holding each other’s arms, their bodies shaking like leaves in the wind.

Su Qing felt her heart was about to jump out of her chest, while Su Ya felt like she was about to faint.

”Count three, two, one, we’ll go together...” Su Qing’s voice was shaking uncontrollably.

”Three... two... one!”

When the word ”one” left her mouth, neither of them moved. Their courage had collapsed at the last moment.

Lei Jun watched from below, understanding they needed a little ’push.’

She stepped forward a few paces and said in a steady, clear voice, ”Don’t think about it, just jump. Trust me, and trust yourselves.”

Perhaps it was because Lei Jun’s voice had a strange stabilizing power, or perhaps the sisters had truly exhausted all their strength for hesitation.

They screamed simultaneously as if using up all their strength, holding each other, and took a step forward—actually, they tumbled out.
