Gender-swapped Beautiful Girl, the Godly Rich System Takes Me to New Heights!

213: I hope you won’t be too disappointed.Coach Wang said, taking a deliberate look at Lei Jun as he formed a judgment in his mind.

This was undoubtedly some Second-Generation Rich who had a sudden whim to experience flying after watching a few aviation-themed movies.

He had seen many such cases; once, a boss’s son came in saying he wanted to get his license in a single day, but after being taken through a thirty-minute simulator session, he realized the difficulty and backed off.

Lei Ying quickly chimed in from the side, ”Coach Wang is right. Young Lady, look how complex this process is. Why don’t we sign up for a class and learn slowly?”

She felt a sense of relief, thinking the coach’s words would make Lei Jun give up.

Su Qing also nodded along. ”Yes, Young Lady, half a year isn’t that long. Safety is the most important thing.”

Lei Jun didn’t budge, looking at Coach Wang. ”I understand all the theory. I don’t need to practice on the simulator or do hands-on training; I can just take the exam directly. If you don’t believe me, let’s do the theory test first. If I fail, I’ll leave today and won’t pester you further.”

She was feeling a bit impatient, not because of the coach’s doubt, but because she felt the process was a waste of time.

Among the skills given by the system, all the theoretical knowledge was already included, as familiar to her as the multiplication table; there was no need to learn it again.

Coach Wang was momentarily speechless by Lei Jun’s certainty. He looked her up and down, and seeing that she didn’t seem to be joking, he started to wonder: Could this girl really have a foundation?

For instance, does her family own an airline, and has she been around planes since she was a child?

But even with a foundation, she couldn’t just skip the process and take the exam directly.

After thinking it over, he decided it would be better to let her try the theory exam.

There were 100 theory questions, all multiple-choice and true/false, covering detailed and miscellaneous points of knowledge. It was impossible for someone who hadn’t studied to pass; she would naturally give up then.

”Alright, let’s go take the theory test first.” Coach Wang put down his registration book. ”But I have to make it clear: the theory exam is out of 100 points, with 80 as a passing grade. Moreover, the questions are randomized, so you can’t just guess your way through.”

”No problem,” Lei Jun nodded.

The group followed Coach Wang to the theory exam room, which was filled with over a dozen computers. Only two examinees were there, both working very seriously.

The Invigilator Teacher was a middle-aged woman wearing glasses. Seeing Coach Wang bring in a young girl, she was also taken aback and asked him in a low voice, ”Little Wang, who is this?”

”She’s here for the theory test, let her try,” Coach Wang whispered. ”She probably hasn’t studied. Once she fails, she’ll know to back off.”

The Invigilator Teacher understood and set up a computer for Lei Jun, handing over an admission ticket. ”You have 45 minutes. Just click submit when you’re done.”

Lei Ying and the others stood at the door of the exam room, their hearts in their throats.

Lei Ying thought to herself: There are so many knowledge points in the theory test. The Young Lady only said she wanted to take it yesterday; even cramming at the last minute wouldn’t be enough. I just hope she doesn’t get angry when she fails later.

Su Qing held Su Ya’s hand and whispered, ”I hope the Young Lady won’t be too disappointed.”

Lei Yue’s answering speed was astonishingly fast. Her finger clicked the mouse with precision, finishing each question in less than ten seconds on average.

The Invigilator Teacher, who had been looking down at a newspaper, was startled when she caught a glimpse of Lei Jun’s answering speed and hurried over to look.

She saw the progress bar on the screen jumping rapidly; in just five minutes, 50 questions had already been answered.

”This girl is answering so fast,” the Invigilator Teacher whispered to Coach Wang beside her. ”She isn’t just clicking randomly, is she?”

Coach Wang was also frowning. He stood behind Lei Jun and checked a few questions, finding that every single one she answered was correct.

There was a question about aircraft engine models that was particularly obscure; even he would have to think for a long time to be sure of the answer, yet Lei Jun had clicked the correct option immediately.

The doubt in his heart grew: Just what is this girl’s background?

In less than ten minutes, Lei Jun clicked ”Submit Exam.”

The score immediately popped up on the computer screen: 100. The entire exam room went silent.

The Invigilator Teacher walked over quickly, staring at the score on the screen.

”100 points? Did you... did you study aviation-related subjects before?”

Coach Wang also leaned in, looking at the perfect score on the screen, equally surprised.

Lei Jun stood up and brushed off her clothes. ”I haven’t studied it; I just know it. Can I take the practical exam now?”

It took Coach Wang quite a while to react. He swallowed hard. ”You... you can. But for the practical, we use a simulator. First, let’s get you familiar with the interface.”

He no longer dared to treat Lei Jun as a ”Second-Generation Rich on a whim.” A theory score of 100 was right there, proving she definitely had a solid theoretical foundation. Perhaps she even had some skill in the practical as well.

The group arrived at the simulator training room, which housed several simulators identical to a real aircraft cockpit. The various buttons and control yokes were densely packed and looked incredibly complex.

Coach Li, who was in charge of simulator training, was a retired pilot. He was tall with an expressionless face. Seeing Coach Wang bring Lei Jun in, he immediately asked, ”Did she pass the theory? What was the score?”

”100 points, finished in ten minutes,” Coach Wang said with a hint of admiration in his voice.

Coach Li’s eyes instantly lit up. He looked Lei Jun up and down. ”Oh? That’s interesting. Come, sit inside and give it a try.”

He pointed to one of the simulators.

Doing well on the theory test was nothing; the practical was what really mattered.

This simulator was identical to a real aircraft’s cockpit. Just getting familiar with the buttons would take half a day, let alone taking off and landing. He wanted to see if she really had what it takes.

Lei Jun stepped into the simulator cockpit. The space inside wasn’t large, with two seats on the left and right, and the front was filled with instrument panels and control yokes.

She sat in the captain’s seat. As soon as her hand touched the control yoke, the functions of all the buttons automatically surfaced in her mind.

Which one was the throttle, which was the landing gear switch, which was the navigation system—it was as clear as if it were etched into her brain.

She felt a sense of relief, feeling that the simulator was as obedient as her own limbs.

Coach Li sat in the co-pilot’s seat, holding a recording sheet, his tone serious.

”I’ll first go over the basic operations with you. This is the control yoke, which controls the aircraft’s pitch and roll; this is the throttle lever, which controls engine thrust; the instrument on the left is the altimeter, and the one on the right is the airspeed indicator...”

”No need to explain, I know,” Lei Jun interrupted him. ”Just set up the scenario. Let’s do a standard takeoff and landing, and then simulate an emergency response for an engine failure.”

She didn’t want to waste time listening to basic explanations. With the skills provided by the system, these operations were more familiar to her than stepping on the gas pedal in a car.

Coach Li’s face immediately darkened. He felt that Lei Jun was too arrogant.

Even if she did well on the theory test, she shouldn’t treat the practical so lightly.

He said coldly, ”I advise you to first familiarize yourself with the interface, lest you don’t even know how to deploy the landing gear in a moment.”

”I really don’t need to,” Lei Jun said, directly reaching out to press several buttons to start the simulator.

The screen immediately displayed the image of an airport runway, looking exactly like the real thing.

She gripped the control yoke, lightly stepped on the pedals, and adjusted her seat position. Her movements were so proficient that she didn’t look like someone touching a simulator for the first time.
