Dragon Monarch System

Chapter 697 697:- Rune Formation

Sitting in the front of the mirror, Aditya noticed that Julia was staring at him. He could see her staring at his face in the mirror.

She had a small smile on her face.

”What are you staring at?” Meanwhile, a maid was busy styling Adityaʼs long blue hair.

”You have become handsome,” Julia replied with a smile. She loved staring at his face. This once used to be the face that she disliked.

Alicia always found the marriage contract with Aditya distasteful. She always wished to end the marriage contract. But neither her family nor even the Emperor of Echo Dominion had the power to do that. Now, things have changed.

”I was just thinking that with each passing day, youʼre becoming more and more handsome.” She wasnʼt just flattering him. It was the truth. Each time his Dragon bloodline evolved, Aditya slightly became handsome. If before he was 7 out of 10 now he would be 8.5 or even close to 9 out of 10.

”You know, I miss the time when you used to run away from me. You used to bite me.” Remembering the things that she had done in the past, Julia felt embarrassed.

”Youʼre not allowed to talk about those things.” It was just too embarrassing.

Compared to those times, Julia has grown a lot.

”Haha.....!! Why donʼt you come here so that we can bite each other for a while?” Aditya teased her.

Her face turned red hearing his words.

”Whatʼs the matter? Didnʼt you used to love biting me?” Aditya continued teasing her.

”If you keep saying that, then...”

”Then?”

”I will kill you 100 times.” Aditya felt like he could see imaginary purple cat cars on Juliaʼs head. She looked like an angry kitten hissing at its owner.

”Oh, I have missed this. It has been a while since I have heard this sentence.” Aditya said, looking at Julia in the mirror.

Hearing his words, she just snorted and ignored him.

Hmph...!!

”Hahaha....!!” If Aditya wasnʼt getting ready to attend Spencerʼs wedding or if they were alone at the moment, he would have continued to bully her.

Meanwhile, the maid who was doing Adityaʼs hair felt very awkward. She tried her very best not to interfere with the couple and become invisible. She even tried to slow down her breathing so that she could be invisible.

For a single like her, this kind of romantic atmosphere was unbearable. She felt miserable.

Click...!!!

”Aditya, are you done?” Alicia entered the bedroom wearing a green veil. The veil covered her face except for her emerald eyes and her forehead.

She wore a beautiful Kimono matching her eye color and veil.

”I am almost done,” Aditya replied while looking at himself in the mirror.

As Alicia walked inside, her eyes fell on Adityaʼs hair.

Aditya usually, more like always, keeps his hair down regardless of the occasion. He very rarely ties his hair into a bun, as he feels that bun does not suit him.

He has often thought of cutting his long blue hair short.

But today, Julia instructed the maid to change his hairstyle.

Once the maid was done, she politely moved away and gave the Emperor some space to look at his new hairstyle in the mirror.

”Itʼs not bad.”

”What do you think?” Aditya asked for Julia and Aliciaʼs opinions.

The maid had styled his hair with great care and skill. She had gathered a section of hair from the top and sides and pulled them back to meet at the crown of his head. The strands were then twisted and looped into a small, secure bundle, leaving the rest of his hair to flow naturally. The difference between the neat hair on top and the wild waves below was noticeable. The new hairstyle created a new look for him, complementing his facial features with the soft sweep of hair at the sides.

”You look really handsome in this hairstyle.” Julia and Alicia both agreed that this was a billion times better than his previous hairstyle. This hairstyle gave him a more manly look.

Just changing his hairstyle upgraded his look. Now, he looked more handsome.

”From now on, keep this hairstyle. It suits you really well.” Alicia said while staring at his face. Before, Aditya was 9 out of 10, but he was 10 out of 10. Just changing this hairstyle greatly improved his overall look

Aditya nodded his head in agreement as he admired his new hairstyle in the mirror. He couldnʼt help but feel pleased with the outcome. The haircut suited him perfectly and gave him a more professional look. However, he knew that maintaining this new hairstyle would require some effort. He would need to spend at least 10 minutes sitting in front of the mirror every morning and let his maid style his hair. Aditya knew this would add an extra task to his morning routine, but he felt it was worth it. He believed that the extra effort would pay off in the long run, as he would look more presentable and confident.

Alicia teasingly commented, ”I wonder how many women will fall for you today?” Her words seemed playful, but inside her mind, she was already planning to keep a close eye on him so that no woman could approach him without her knowledge.

Aditya responded with a smile on his face, ”I have a feeling that after today, I will at least have a few thousand marriage proposals.” His playful attitude matched Aliciaʼs, and he was enjoying this banter with her.

However, Julia, who was standing nearby, took Adityaʼs response seriously. She warned him in a serious tone, ”You better not do anything funny.” Julia was worried about Adityaʼs reputation and warned him not to indulge in any behavior that could lead to unwanted attention from other women.

Aditya asked a serious question, ”Do I look like a playboy to you?” His tone conveyed his earnestness. Julia and Alicia, who were present there, rolled their eyes simultaneously, indicating that his seriousness did not convince them.

Alicia retorted, ”Youʼre a wolf...!!!”

Julia added, ”Yeah, wherever you go, you always attract women.”

Hearing this, Aditya felt wronged and quickly defended himself, ”Hey!!! Thatʼs not my fault. Most of those times, the situation is never under my control.”

The truth was that Aditya had a way with women, and wherever he went, he seemed to attract them like a magnet.

He had even pretended to be Aliciaʼs boyfriend when he went to meet her parents, but by the time he returned, she had become his real girlfriend and then his fiance. Similarly, after meeting Riya, she also became his fiance.

Lara, who had been in a centuries-long slumber, woke up and also became his fiance.

Sasha and Lilith were special cases. They had a mysterious illness due to which they could not touch any other male except Aditya.

Seeing their looks, Aditya knew that it was pointless trying to prove himself innocent, so he sighed out loud.

Sigh....!!!

”Alright!! Now that we are done, letʼs head out.” Julia was about to leave, but Aditya called her from behind.

”Wait.....!!”

Meanwhile, the maid quickly left the room without wasting a second. Now that she was done with her duty, it was time to leave. As for what her Master was about to do next, it was none of her concern. She was mature enough to guess somewhat what was going to happen.

Aditya kissed Juliaʼs cheeks.

Chu...!!

He did not forget Alicia. He did the same for her.

Chu...!!

”You two look amazing.” Both girls were pleased with his actions and his sweet words.

Both of them giggled after looking at each other. Both of them then kissed his cheeks in return.

Alicia kissed his left cheek while Julia kissed his right cheek.

”Hey!! No fair.....!!” Riya, who just walked inside the room, happened to see Alicia and Julia kissing Aditya.

She slightly pouted, feeling that she was left out.

Riya was slightly jealous.

But the next second, Aditya mysteriously appeared in front her and hugged her.

”I am always fair with you all.” Saying that he kissed both of her cheeks.

Chu....!!!

Scene Change_______

The Istarin Empire had a vast collection of islands, each with its own unique characteristics. Some of these islands were home to millions of people, while others had populations in the thousands or were completely empty.

However, there were certain islands that held a special significance for the Empire. These were the islands that were guarded and protected by the Imperial troops and Dragonians, as they contained rare metals like Mana stones. Other islands were protected for strategic reasons, as they held key positions that could impact the Empireʼs defenses.

While there were nobles governing some of the islands, the Dragon Monarch held direct control over most of them. Aditya was one such powerful figure who wielded significant influence over the islands, ensuring that they remained loyal to the Empire.

For example, in one of the Shadow Islands, a very special type of herb known as the Thunder Leaf Herb grew here. The Emperor had control over how this precious resource will be controlled and disturbed. The Noble who was in charge of governing Shadow Island obeyed Adityaʼs orders.

Something very exciting happened today on one of the islands in the Istarin Empire. The Prime Minister was getting married to his fiancé Aria on a beautiful island called Stone-Heart Island. As the name suggests, itʼs shaped like a heart and is covered in lots of trees and greenery, making it perfect for couples to get married.

Stone-Heart Island is famous for being a romantic spot, and many noble couples have chosen to get married there. Spencer and Aria also picked this island because they wanted a beautiful place to start their new life together. The islandʼs charm and beauty made it the perfect choice for them to celebrate their love.

The island was buzzing with excitement as everyone prepared for a big event—the Prime Ministerʼs wedding. It was a significant occasion that attracted the locals and other important people, including neighboring kings and emperors.

People were running around, ensuring everything was perfect for the wedding. Even the highest nobles of the Istarin Empire, along with their families, had come to attend.

The Emperor had invited all his allies, who also made their way to the island, to join in the celebration.

Riya transformed the island into a colorful paradise. Walking through it feels like stepping into a painting. The forest is now a carpet of multicolored leaves. The wind carries the sweet scent of newly transformed vegetation. Blue, pink, and gold leaves dance in the air.

Riya has been working on this island for three days now. She wanted to keep everything a surprise from Aria and Spencer. Only she and her mother, Amelia, knew how tough it was to prevent Aria and Spencer from coming here. They had to give them excuses after excuses.

Now, Riyaʼs present to Aria and Spencer was ready.

At the center of the Island, there was a large teleportation array.

It was only 8 in the morning, yet guests had already started coming. Most nobles came here with their partners. Some even brought their children, hoping that their children would bond with other noble children.

After all, having connections with other nobles could be really helpful in the short and long run.

The whole Island was protected using Rune formations. Due to Rune Formations, this Island was hidden from the outside world. There was a wall of fog surrounding this entire Island. Any cultivator below the 5th order will become confused after entering this fog. This fog will distort their sense of direction and will trap them inside.

There are also powerful rune towers that fire lightning bolts and fireballs if enemies manage to arrive anywhere within 500 meters of the island.

This whole island is protected with all sorts of rune formations.

There were also multiple 5th-order and a few thousand 4th-

order Dragonians guarding the whole Island.

The Safety of the guests was secured.
