Cleaver Of Sin

Chapter 598: Pulling Out All Stops

Asher immediately shifted into his Star Form, since his enhanced state using basic Star Energy enhancement was useless against Debro; there was no need to hold back anymore, it was time to go all out, it was do or die now, a decisive moment where hesitation meant certain defeat and an irreversible end, a threshold that, once crossed, would decide everything between life and death.

With that, his golden form vanished, and he immediately turned into an utterly white, human-shaped figure, his senses peaking to an extreme degree, time seemingly slowing around him as though reality itself had been dragged into a sluggish crawl, his physical capability rising as his body brimmed with immense, overwhelming power that surged endlessly through every fiber of his being, threatening to erupt outward like a contained supernova.

The entire transformation took less than a second; he didn’t bother delaying or waiting, he shot forward with supersonic speed that left the wind and air shredded violently in his wake, the atmosphere tearing apart as he moved, and before Debro could even blink or react, all he saw was a white fist crashing dead square into his chest with the force of a dying sun, the sheer density of power behind the strike compressing the space between them to an almost nonexistent point.

The impact exploded behind Debro, forming concurrent rings of destruction that expanded outward in violent succession, erasing everything within a ten-kilometer range with apocalyptic force and ruinous, crushing weight.

And for the first time, Debro shot backward like a discarded puppet, his body tearing into mountains with unstoppable momentum; then he crashed upon the surface of a lake, tore through it as though it were nothing more than mist, as he crossed into another part of the endless forest, his back slamming into various trees, boulders, and hills, his body carving deep trenches into the earth, sand towering into the air like colossal sand walls due to Debro’s body crashing into the ground with overwhelming force.

Everything within a twelve-kilometer range could only be described by one word; carnage, utter, mind bugging devastation that left no trace of what once stood, as though the land itself had been rewritten and erased under the tyranny of overwhelming power, reduced to a broken wasteland that bore the scars of a battle far beyond mortal comprehension.

Asher couldn’t help but click his tongue; although he had landed his attack, his punch had done zero damage, as at the last moment, even while caught off guard, Debro had managed to create an Astra barrier at that exact point of contact and immediately blocked the attack, hence saving himself from getting injured by Asher’s strike, his defensive instincts operating at a level that bordered on absurdity.

Truly, the man’s senses were too sharp; Asher couldn’t help but feel a creeping sense of dread at what kind of ability someone like Debro possessed, the man hadn’t even used it once since the battle started, which meant he had been holding back something far more dangerous all this time, something that could potentially overturn the entire flow of the battle in an instant.

Then suddenly, a rocketing explosion like that of an atomic bomb erupted outward in utter madness and devastation, the force expanding in all directions without restraint, everything within a twenty-kilometer radius reduced to nothingness from the point where Debro stood, as his Astra energy exploded outward in pure, unfiltered force and might, obliterating everything it came into contact with, leaving behind only ruin and emptiness.

”IF I CAN’T HAVE YOU, NO ONE WILL, ASHER WARGRAVE!!!!” Debro roared at the top of his lungs as he rose to his feet, his killing intent exploding outward and rising towards the sky like a storm given form.

The air shattered from his mere unleashed presence, the sky itself seemed to tremble and distort as he walked forward from the devastation of his own making, his aura warping the environment as though reality itself was struggling to remain intact under his pressure.

His hair flared wildly in madness as he gazed at Asher, his sick love twisting into its final, most toxic and corrupted form, a grotesque obsession that had long since devoured any semblance of restraint.

Asher’s eyes tightened; just by Debro unleashing his full presence and Astra energy, a twenty-kilometer radius had already been annihilated without effort.

Without missing a beat, Asher enhanced himself once more, a crackling sound like a trillion chirping sparks thundered outward across the battlefield as Asher activated a lightning skill of his; Lightning Armour, its manifestation violent, radiant, and overwhelming.

It was powered by Star Energy, layering perfectly over the Star Form, his entire body encased in his purple lightning armour, arcs of electricity dancing wildly across its surface, his fingers seeming to turn into lightning claws, two purple lightning horns stretching from a lightning helmet that covered his entire head and face. He seemed to have become a purple demon at that moment, a being that stood at the intersection of raw energy and destruction, radiating an oppressive and terrifying presence.

The enhancement further boosted his speed, strength, and power to an even greater degree, pushing him closer and closer to the brink of what his body could withstand without collapsing under the pressure of such immense energy.

But Asher felt as though it still wasn’t enough; at this moment, he was pulling out all stops, pushing himself beyond every known limit without hesitation, disregarding any potential backlash or consequence that might follow.

With that, Light flickered across him, layering over his body as well, focusing entirely on boosting speed rather than strength. Without missing a beat, Asher channeled all these enhancements into Virelass, who hummed intensely as though drunk on power, resonating with the overwhelming energy coursing through it, its presence becoming sharper, more dangerous, more lethal with each passing moment.

Asher enhanced his brain and central nervous system with Star Energy and lightning as well; every single enhancement was accounted for, every possible advantage seized with ruthless efficiency. A falling leaf seemed to take an eternity before reaching the molten ground beside him, time itself bending and distorting under the sheer intensity of his heightened perception and processing speed.

Debro groaned, and with a mere thought, Astra energy rippled violently around him, enhancing his body beyond the limits of a Wavestar Life Ranker, as he seemed to take a half step into the Void Life Rank at that moment, his presence swelling into something far more monstrous and incomprehensible.

Both of them stared at one another, their bodies boiling with immense yet perfectly controllable power and force, their auras clashing invisibly as the space between them warped and twisted under the pressure. They stared at each other like gods who could not rule the same heaven; one had to fall for the other to rise as the sole sovereign, an inevitable conclusion that neither could escape.

And as though fate itself had given the signal, they both vanished from where they stood with a speed that seemed impossible to measure or comprehend. The next fractured instant, they appeared at a singular point in space and time, their blades shredding through the fabric of reality itself as they reached towards each other with lethal precision and unstoppable intent.

The moment their weapons met, a colossal burst of energy thundered outward with world-rending, apocalyptic force that seemed to exist beyond every scale of measurement known to science. Space burst apart like an overinflated balloon, unable to put up any form of resistance between these two mad behemoths, as though reality itself was too fragile to contain the sheer magnitude of their clash.

Everything within a seventy-kilometer radius was ruptured into total, fracturing, colossal armageddon, the energies rolling outward endlessly as they continued to consume the battlefield without any signs of stopping anytime soon, devouring everything indiscriminately with unrelenting destruction and chaotic force.

A sinkhole of fifty-kilometer radius yawned open as though the abyss itself was rising to swallow the heavens whole. Sword marks, ravines, chasms, and earthquakes covered the remaining twenty kilometers and anything beyond that, the land forever scarred and deformed by the overwhelming power that had been unleashed upon it.

With their all-out, fully powered clash, they had displayed power that science itself failed to quantify or comprehend. They were no longer mere warriors; they were simply gods trapped in human bodies, beings whose existence defied logic, reason, and understanding.

The world of Crymora could only sigh at her inhabitants, as one day, her own children would be her undoing, their unchecked power destined to bring about a cataclysm so great that even the world itself might not survive the consequences of their existence.
