Cleaver Of Sin

Chapter 553: Mad Six

With one last glance at the room, Asher turned and walked away with a calm expression that did not betray what he had just seen. Phasing out of the room, Asher glanced at the other door up ahead, his mind churned with imagination, wondering what would be there, he did not know, these people already had the organs of humans, Emovirae organs, what would be next, animal organs? Monster organs? Beast organs? The question lingered within his mind, not out of fear, but out of cold curiosity, as he understood that whatever lay ahead would only grow increasingly disturbing and increasingly unnatural.

Asher didn’t know the answer, but his thoughts did not stop him from moving forward, seeing was the only way to know, not guessing. He arrived before the third door, even without entering it, Asher could already feel a couple of presences, some hiding in the shadows as though guarding whatever was within the room.

’I could not read the Life Rank of these people hiding within the shadows as they are not releasing any presence,’ Asher thought to himself, then shook his head, he phased into the room with a calm thought and mind, as he was ready to see the most horrific things he could ever imagine. His emotions remained restrained, his thoughts steady, his breathing even, as he prepared himself for whatever truth lay beyond the threshold, knowing that hesitation would serve no purpose.

Stepping in, the first thing that greeted Asher’s gaze was bright white lights, unlike other rooms which were either dimly lit or perfectly bright, this one extremely bright. The brightness dominated the room completely, erasing any sense of shadow or concealment. Asher did not cover his eyes, the light did nothing to him.

His Star Sense was already scanning through the room before he even entered, but the moment he stepped fully inside, a piercing scream slammed into Asher’s ears, loud, guttural, maddening, deafening. It was not just one scream, there were about three different screams overlapping each other as the three voices cried out in mercy. Their screams were raw, desperate, filled with pain and terror, revealing suffering without restraint or concealment.

Before Asher was a scene that made his stomach churn. The scene was simply too gory, the room seemed to be a lab, various tables spread around the room, each high, and on three of these tables, a human could be seen strapped naked to it, they were alive, awake, naked, their eyes wide open. Their bodies trembled slightly, their muscles tense, their breathing uneven, their fear obvious, their helplessness certain.

Within this room were six people, aside from those strapped to the table, four men and two women, each wearing what seemed like a white medical coat, these six people arranged themselves well, two each focusing on a single person strapped to a table. Their movements were calm, precise, controlled, as though what they were doing was routine, familiar, and completely normal to them.

At the side were corpses of the dead, corpses of the killed, piled at the side of the room, blood pooling beneath the corpses and spreading across the lab floor, but it did not seem to disturb these six people.

The air had a strong metallic stench of blood that Asher felt as though his nose, tongue, and throat were about to explode outward. The smell was overwhelming, suffocating, invasive, filling the air completely, replacing freshness with decay.

He who had killed hundreds of people before could not even stand the smell of blood within this room, as the smell had completely replaced oxygen. It was excessive, unnatural, and overwhelming, far beyond what should normally exist.

”N...no...n..oo..no, pl...please, I have a son...a wife... please... do not kill me,” one of the people, a man, strapped to the table begged with a broken voice, tears pouring from his eyes. His voice trembled with desperation, his words fragile, his hope fading, yet he continued to beg, clinging to life.

A woman who was also strapped to another table cried her eyes out as she screamed trying to free herself from the straps that held her to the table, but it was futile as her struggles meant nothing. Her strength was insufficient, her resistance useless, her fate already decided.

The last victim within the room was a boy that seemed no older than Asher, he too bound firmly in place as he struggled and begged at the top of his lungs. But the six people within this room did not even hesitate at their screams, instead, they stared at them with big smiles, another one of these six laughing out loud as they all took joy and pleasure in their screams. Their reactions revealed enjoyment, satisfaction, and disturbing fascination.

”You screaming simply makes this more fun, urgh... I think I am becoming wet,” one of the two women held the man strapped to the table before her as though his screams gave her sexual satisfaction, ”scream more, I am cumming... Urgh, yes, LOUDER,” she shouted as though she was reaching climax, her expression filled with disturbing pleasure.

At another side, one of the men amongst the six stared at the woman before him with a wide smile, ”do not worry, by the time I am done with you, you will be free, you will join the stars, you will be transformed and no longer be bound to this life.”

Each of these six mad people took various forms of sick and deranged pleasure from the screams and horrific expressions of those on the table. Their focus remained absolute, their enjoyment clear, their actions intentional.

Then with a wide grin, the second woman amongst the six began, Astra energy formed in her hand, taking on the shape of a scalpel, and with that, she gently stabbed into the stomach of the boy lying on the table before her, and drew a long incision from his lower abdomen and up to his chest. Her movements were careful, controlled, and deliberate, showing precision and familiarity.

The boy screamed as the pain exploded within his mind, his mind threatening to break as he felt every pain, there was no anaesthesia or any form of drug to reduce pain. Besides, why should these six people administer it, they took pleasure and joy in their screams after all. His suffering was intentional, his pain desired, his agony necessary for their satisfaction.

Blood splattered against the white coat the woman was wearing, but she did not stop, her Astra energy bent under her skilful control, forming a retractor that held the flesh apart. She put her hand into the boy’s body, her gloved hand staining with blood, she raised her hand towards the bright light and looked at her blood-stained hand with glee and fascination as though the blood held something more, something deeper that only she could understand.

With that, she brought her hand to her lips and licked the blood as though she was a vampire, her body shook the moment she tasted it, her eye brightening as though she had just touched upon the elixir of life. Her reaction revealed obsession, addiction, and disturbing satisfaction.

She did not stop, her hand went into the boy’s body yet again, but this time, her two hands, they danced between his tightly packed organs as she tried to get as much blood as possible, then again she raised her hand above her head toward the bright light as though paying offering to some unseen being. Her actions were reverent, deliberate, and obsessive.

Then she licked every single drop of blood from her glove in haste as though she was addicted and could not get enough of it, the screams of the boy on the table before her seemed to even make the taste of blood even more sweet and tasty, reinforcing her disturbing enjoyment and satisfaction.
