Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Shifting his attention towards the situation below the clouds to see if there was anyone from the sect currently lingering around on the tenth floor of the tower, the first thing Xuan Hao noticed wasn’t any specific disciple or elder from the sect, but instead a few familiar looking shops that had seemingly emerged around the resting area below. Selling things like what was available throughout the cloud plaza. Only of far lower quality.

Because of this, the resting area below at least had something different to do other than just watching the scenic environment of the resting area, as one could at least get something to eat and drink while potentially waiting around for someone to team up with to challenge the eleventh floor or a floor beyond that.

Outside of the new shops that had appeared, he did soon enough spot a few figures that had managed to reach the tenth floor and hadn’t yet proceeded to challenge the eleventh floor of the tower. Among them were none other than Mui and Song Jia, who had both somehow managed to reach the tenth floor of the tower even though their strength was by far the weakest among the people currently present on the tenth floor of the tower.

Reaching the tenth floor was understandable, but to do it so fast was what had been somewhat surprising to him, as the rest of the people present below had all reached the Soul Ascension Realm. Essentially, the only ones in the Domain Lord Realm or below currently present on the tenth floor of the tower were Mui and Song Jia.

And the reason why he didn’t spot anyone like Chu Yang or Pei Yang on the tenth floor of the tower was rather obvious, as those two should be in the process of challenging the ascension realm tower.

The large number of Soul Ascension Realm cultivators gathered together at the lower section of the resting area had most likely already passed through the eleventh and perhaps even twelfth floor of the tower and found themselves unable to advance any further and decided to return back to the resting area, either to find someone to team up with or just to relax and digest what they had experienced.

Just looking at how well these elders who had mostly joined the sect later on were conversing with each other filled with joy at the different deadly battles they had just made it through made it clear that the ascension realm tower was not just a great tool for tempering the strength of the sect, but also helped make these Soul Ascension Realm Elders recruited from outside the sect grow closer to each other and the sect, as they were essentially being forced to work together if they wanted to stand any chance of making progress in ascending the ascension realm tower beyond what they could handle on their own.

When the original elders of the sect began to catch up with these Soul Ascension Realm Elders, they would undoubtedly grow even closer to the sect and feel more like a part of the sect, something Xuan Hao couldn’t wait to see happen and undoubtedly also something Elder Song was looking forward to.

When the original elders of the sect began to catch up with these Soul Ascension Realm Elders, they would undoubtedly grow even closer to the sect and feel more like a part of the sect, something Xuan Hao couldn’t wait to see happen and undoubtedly also something Elder Song was looking forward to.

”But, to increase the chance of those breaking through to the Soul Ascension Realm surviving, I will have to obtain enough ascension coins to buy the ascension secret realm…” Muttering this to himself as he glanced down towards the lower section of the resting area where his youngest disciple had already grabbed hold of Song Jia and dragged her towards the staircase leading up to the eleventh floor of the tower, Xuan Hao turned back around and made his way in the direction of the spiral staircase leading up towards the twenty first floor of the ascension realm tower.

Not just because he wanted to get enough ascension coins to buy the ascension secret realm, but also because he had a feeling that he wouldn’t be able to hold himself back from buying some of the artifacts displayed throughout the cloud plaza.

After all, outside of artifacts suitable for someone in the Early Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm or Early Stage of the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm, there were also several powerful artifacts suitable for someone who had reached the limits of the Land Creation Realm. Artifacts that far surpassed anything he had encountered so far and undoubtedly also able to enhance his strength several times over.

As for what the appearance of these expensive artifacts on the cloud plaza meant, he knew all too well, as they should indicate the strength of the creatures and demon beasts, he would be facing on the next ten floors of the tower… And from the terrifying presence of the few artifacts that had reached the limit of the Land Creation Realm, even seemingly having partly touched on the Star Creation Realm, he had a feeling that he wouldn’t be able to reach the thirtieth floor of the tower with his current strength.

Maybe when he advanced to the Land Creation Realm and his divine physique awakened, but for now, it looked like he would soon enough encounter a floor that he wouldn’t be able overcome with his current strength… And to be honest, he was looking forward to it, as he hadn’t had an opportunity to go all out in a fight in a long time.

Not just because of a lack of opponents, but also because the sheer destruction caused to the surrounding environment in case someone at his cultivation realm went all out. The damage caused easily enough to wipe out a large chunk of the Star Shattering Sect’s current territory.

Along with that, also the fact that doing anything too flashy would undoubtedly draw a lot of unwanted attention to the Star Shattering Sect.

Before he reached the Land Creation Realm and had some assurance when it came to facing someone in the Star Creation Realm, he didn’t intend to do anything that could potentially attract unwanted attention to the Star Shattering Sect, as while he could escape, the sect couldn’t.

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao began making his way up the spiral staircase, soon enough finding himself on the twenty first floor of the tower… And without much suspense, he cleared the floor and soon enough moved up the spiral staircase towards the twenty second floor of the tower.

The time it took him to clear each floor increasing as he continued ascending the ascension realm tower without showing any signs of stopping. This smooth ascension without encountering any problems continued all the way up to the twenty-third floor of the tower where the strength of the creatures and demon beasts he encountered finally reached the Sea Formation Realm in terms of strength or the Late Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm. Finally becoming somewhat challenging for him to just breeze through without any problems.

Still, his current strength was superior to that of most Sea Formation Realm cultivators and could even be said to be comparable to some weaker Land Creation Realm cultivators. So although his speed of ascending the ascension realm tower slowed down significantly, it didn’t stop, as he continued moving forward.

Even the floor boss that he needed to kill at the twenty-fourth floor of the tower, a unique creature at the Peak of the Celestial Immortal Realm that took him two entire days to defeat because of its ridiculously terrifying vitality was ultimately beaten by him.

Only when he stepped onto the twenty-fifth floor of the tower did he get the feeling that he might not be able to advance any further with his current strength.

Not because the strength of the demon beasts and other creatures he faced had surpassed the Peak of the Celestial Immortal Realm, but instead because the demon beasts and other creatures he faced were no longer in the Celestial Immortal Realm. Instead, they were all in the Sea Formation Realm.

A Late Stage Sea Formation Realm demon beast he would normally have considered simple enough to deal with given just how vast his spiritual sea was proved to be an incredible challenge to overcome, as demon beasts inherently had a powerful vitality far surpassing that of human cultivators.

Not to mention, the battle inevitably ended up drawing attention from other creatures and demon beasts on the twenty-fifth floor of the tower. Forcing him to ultimately run away from an opponent that he was more than strong enough to defeat with enough time on hand.

From the twenty-fifth floor onwards, Xuan Hao realized that he would no longer be able to brute force his way forward, he had to challenge the floor and follow the task given by the tower honestly, as he simply wasn’t strong enough to force his way forward any longer, something that made him feel a bit desolate inside, but at the same time also made him feel fired up about clearing the twenty-fifth floor.
