Chapter 83: The battle started

Ethan went to find a room for 4 hours. He didn’t want to waste time viewing the city. After booking a room with 50 contribution points, he created a small mental barrier and started practicing some battle songs he had heard in his previous life. Then he started modifying them according to his taste and need, as he needed more goosebumps.

Ten billion warriors would be present there, so the song would need to be loud enough to be heard by everyone and strong enough to be remembered by everyone.

His clones practiced for 3 hours and the song was perfected. Ethan smiled with satisfaction. One hour later, the battle would be started.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Ethan was watching as his core was still expanding. Then suddenly he remembered the world tree seed the Grand Supreme had given him.

So he immediately took it out and planted it in the center of his core.

As soon as the seed entered his core, it started absorbing energy, twice as much as his full core. Damn! If I needed energy from the outside world, the energy in the environment would become so thin that it would take days to recover, and the powerhouses would surely know something was wrong.

Then Ethan was thinking what to do.Suddenly he had an idea. He had an elemental domain—the thunder domain—but it did not help him much in battles, as the enemy would either be too powerful to be affected or too weak for the domain to matter. So he was thinking if somehow he could merge that domain into the chaos law...

[Ding! The domain can be merged with the law of chaos. Comprehend it?]

The moment he thought about it, instantly a notification came from the system.

It really can be done. Let’s do this.

”Yes.”

[Ding! Your thunder domain has been upgraded to Chaos Domain.]

Ethan felt a vast amount of knowledge come into his mind—what the Chaos Domain was, how to use it, its functions, etc.

Chaos Domain: It can suppress all elements. If the enemy is as strong as you or weaker, he won’t be able to use his elemental force inside the domain. If the enemy has twice your strength, then his elemental force will be suppressed by 50%. Besides, you can use all the elements. You can separate a space inside the domain, cut out the total space—no one would be able to contact others or get energy supply inside the domain.

Ethan knew the domain was far more than this explanation.

It was simply invincible. He now had one more trump card up his sleeve.

Xerox Planet.

All the soldiers who came here to participate in the battle had already entered the battlefield. There was a rule to enter the battlefield—one had to have base strength of at least 400 million. So if someone could make a stronger clone than the required power, he could participate with his clones.

But most of the clone techniques had the potential to make at most 2-3% power of the main body. So if anyone had enough stats to make the required clone, they could participate with clones.

But most of them were from low-level civilizations. Though they were contracted with the primordial humans, they were more laborers than members.

Battlefield.

It was a huge battlefield which could easily contain the battle of 100 billion people if needed.

One side of this battlefield had the aura of darkness and gloom. Though it was almost day, that place was dark as night. There, countless warriors were present.

Most of them had some similar features—pale skin. Everyone was extremely pale, red pupils, and their canine teeth were longer than normal humans. Besides, each and every one of them was extremely handsome.

Five billion warriors had 500 commanders. Each commander was radiating a terrifying aura.

Some of them were talking among themselves.

”Adrian, do you think those ants can leave a single scratch on me or not?”

Adrian said with a smirk, ”I don’t know about you, but I won’t let any of those fodder leave,” his drool coming out.

Vampires—the kings of darkness. Suckers of blood. Though they were not like in those movies where they would die under light, they preferred darkness. As 99% of the vampires had dark elements.

They normally lived on blood. The blood could come from their partners with whom they bond or get married, but human blood was a rare delicacy to them. That’s why so many powerful, genius vampires volunteered to come to this battlefield.

Because this battlefield normally contained the servant races of the primordial humans, and they were weak as f**k. They could drink blood to their hearts’ content, even took blood to give their loved ones.

The commander said, ”Silent. We have information—the Young Supreme of the human race has come here. We don’t know if he would participate in the battle or not. But be careful. That guy is a catastrophe.”

Many vampires stiffened when they heard the name.

They also knew about him—the man who created a legend in one day.

”Why would such a person come to this battlefield? There are countless other ones, even with the celestial races. Why didn’t he go there? Damn it!”

Some of the vampires were now panicking.

Ethan had already covered the entire battlefield in his mental domain. He could hear them chatting.

He smirked. So you like to drink human blood, you filthy bats. I’ll let you drink mine if you are capable enough.

Meanwhile, on the human side, they were not as panicked as before, because many geniuses had come this time. That resource point was really important.

”Hey, I heard the Young Supreme is here. Do you think he would participate in this battle? We would be honored to fight by his side,” some enthusiastic young men and women were talking among themselves.

One hour passed. The drum of war was activated. Countless warriors took their stance and started rushing toward their opponents.

They clashed in mere moments.

The vampires were super aggressive and powerful. They started shredding those humans with bare hands and drinking their blood like beasts.

In the center of the battlefield—

500 humans died in one hit. Then they saw a gruesome scene—the blood of those humans started floating in the air and became a sphere of blood.

The blood sphere came to a young man with stunning looks, even more stunning than the normal vampires. The blood sphere came near his mouth and he swallowed the blood of 500 humans in one suck. A spirit master.

When the humans saw the young vampire’s face, immediately despair engulfed them.

”Why would he come here? Why would Samael come here? We are finished.”

Though they were losing, they still had some hope that they might have a chance. But seeing Samael, the supreme prodigy of the vampires, that hope was gone.

”If he is here, then the other four are also here?”

Even more despair engulfed them as soon as they thought this.

The vampire race had 5 supreme prodigies in the Emperor Realm. They could be compared to humanity’s ranks 86–90 in the Primordial Tower.

Samael, Ariel, Lorren, Thomas, Emma.

The five prodigies. Samael was ranked 3rd among them. If he was here, there was a possibility the other four also came here.

As expected, another side was also cleared by someone. This time, 1,000 people died.

The blood also became a sphere and entered a young man’s mouth.

Samael looked at him and snorted. ”Why are you here, Thomas?”

Thomas was 2nd in rank. He smiled, ”If a pathetic creature like you can come here, why won’t I?”

Samael’s face turned dark. Thomas was his eternal rival. He just couldn’t surpass him, no matter how much he tried.

Then, one side was cleared by 10,000 people. This time, it was a girl. Beautiful couldn’t even explain her—she was beyond the realm of words. This was Ariel, the 1st prodigy of this generation of vampires. They all came here to see who could kill more humans. Besides, human blood was very beneficial for them.

Lorren and Emma—a guy and a girl, they were siblings and both ranked 4th and 5th. They killed around 9,000 together.

Not only these 5 supreme prodigies, but also the other geniuses came.

The human side also had geniuses. They also cut down vampires like grass. But the killing ratio was far too big.

Humans didn’t stand a chance against those vampires.

They wanted to flee, but once one came into the battlefield—win or die, no fleeing. That would sully the primordial humans’ reputation.

One man and woman were talking to themselves.

”Brother, we will die here, right? Our planet won’t have any chance to become more powerful.”

”Don’t worry, sis. As long as I am alive, no one can touch a hair on your head.”

These were twin brother and sister. They were the hope of their planet. They became Emperors at the age of 25 and the primordial humans contracted them on a D-level contract because of their good potential. They came here to earn points to make their planet a better place. But now, seeing the vampires’ terrifying might, they lost their hope.

Thomas laughed out loudly, ”You filthy humans, you just exist to become our fodder. Don’t struggle anymore. Accept your fate and let us have a good meal... hahaha!”

He swung his hand—thousands died.

In this short period of time, more than millions of humans died. But only a few thousand vampires died.

The humans were in despair. Tears were coming down. They would all die. No one could win against those geniuses.

In this generation, humanity didn’t produce any monsters of their caliber—only him.

As soon as his face came into their minds, there was a glimmer of hope in their eyes. Maybe he would intervene.

While the carnage was going on, suddenly they heard a strange sound coming from the human side.

The sound could be heard all over the battlefield.

They didn’t understand the sound, but somehow it boosted their fighting spirit. That sound sent goosebumps through the humans.

They all looked to find the source. Even the vampires looked toward it. This song was very uncomfortable for them—it sounded like the sound of their doom.

When they looked at a single place, they saw a young man slowly walking toward the battlefield.

Twenty-nine people clad in battle armor were playing some kind of instruments in a single rhythm.

The sound somehow complemented the walking style of the young man in the front.

When the humans saw the face of the young man, some couldn’t control their tears.

They fell to their knees.

Then the billions of humans said in unison, ”We welcome the Young Supreme to this battlefield.”

It sounded like a cacophony of death to the vampires.

This time, it was their turn to start shivering.

Some felt their legs giving out. Even the five supreme prodigies—their faces were dark.

Suddenly, Thomas’s face turned ruthless. He shouted loudly, ”What if you can defeat those Supremes’ younger versions? We are not a bit weaker than your Supremes back then! I am not afraid of you!”

He charged toward Ethan like a madman. He would kill this bastard.

These five were all clones, but not something created by skills—created by rare materials. Each clone needed countless treasures to become as strong as the main body. If these clones died, they wouldn’t die, but the vampires would feel a pang in their heart.

Ethan calmly looked at the incoming ant—or rather, bat.

He then snapped his finger calmly.

Thomas who was rushing toward him was shredded into pieces and became cosmic particles in an instant.

Then everyone heard an authoritative yet calm voice.

”Did I permit you to move or speak, filthy bat?”

Thomas’s clone was gone. The clone contained a portion of his soul. That soul was also obliterated.

Ethan would start a carnage here now.
