Chapter 52: Forces from all over the world arrived

Today was the banquet of the Hunt Family for choosing their direct heir, who was rumored to be the supreme genius the planet hadn’t seen yet.

The Hunt Family was a top power on the planet, boasting three Emperors and four Kings directly in the family. Besides, there were so many Kings under them in their businesses and special forces. Every move they made would bring changes to the entire planet. Not to mention, the protagonist of this banquet was the mysterious Hunt Family heir.

As the only heir of the Hunt Family, Ethan naturally received attention from all sides. This banquet was Ethan’s first official appearance in the world of martial arts as a Hunt, so it was impossible not to cause a sensation.

Those invited by the Hunt Family included not only the families of Super City 1 but also other Emperor Families from other Super Cities, powerful corporations, influential lone martial artists who didn’t have families, vice chancellors of the top universities, and so on.

Slightly lesser King-level powers also received invitations, though not as formal. As for powers even lower than King-tier, they had no qualification to be invited at all. Of course, the Hunt Family would not refuse them if they actively wished to participate, but they were not qualified to enter the main hall and could only watch from outside.

As time passed, the entire planet began to buzz with excitement, as this was the first time this level of banquet was happening since the apocalypse.

Time passed, and the day of the banquet arrived. On this day, the entire planet rumbled. Flying jets of different sizes and shapes from countless powers all soared into the sky, transforming into myriad streams of light. Their direction was singular: the Hunt Family in Super City 1.

The Windsor Family was one of the most powerful families of Super City 6, alongside the Ashford Family. The Windsors were even more powerful, as their ancestor was a Level 4 Emperor.

”Oh, that’s the Windsor Princess, Rena Windsor. She’s actually going to attend the Hunt Family heir’s inauguration banquet!”

”Indeed, this inauguration banquet is also an opportunity. Who wouldn’t want to climb the high branch of the Hunt Family?”

”That’s true...”

Generally speaking, this was an opportunity to see the rumored supreme genius of the Hunt Family and, if the chance arose, make friends with the Hunts—especially with the heir.

Although the Hunt Family heir had never shown his face officially, his status and identity alone were enough to make many princesses and Heavenly Prodigies feel moved and offer themselves.

If one could be favored by the Hunt Family heir, it would undoubtedly be a meteoric rise, and the power behind them would also benefit greatly.

Therefore, many beautiful women from various powers prepared to attend the banquet to try their luck.

The Wolford Family was also ascending into the sky, preparing to head to the Hunt Family.

”This is the grandest banquet that is going to happen in a century...”

The Morningstar Family had also received the invitation. They were also preparing to go to the Hunt Family, even though they couldn’t tolerate each other.

Inside the flying car, a handsome young man in a blue battle suit with sword-like eyebrows and starry eyes had a cold glint in his eyes.

”Young Master, the Master has instructed us to attend the banquet to probe the Hunt Family heir. If possible, he asked you to challenge him to a duel and avenge your brother in front of all the powerhouses.”

Beside him, an old man with a goatee spoke with a serious expression. His body faintly exuded the aura of a King. With a King as a servant, this young man’s identity was clearly not low.

”Don’t worry, Uncle. I’ll surely challenge that bastard who hurt my brother and will humiliate him in front of everyone. I’ll make him beg for mercy.”

His name was Caseous Morningstar, the top prodigy of the Morningstar Family. He possessed a very powerful soul talent.”The battle body”,this talent could increase his combat strength upto 5 times in a combat.

At the age of twenty, he reached the realm of Master by clearing the level 5 of the warrior realm space in the battle tower with a solid foundation and after only four years and six months, he had already become a Level 9 Master. He would probably break through to Grandmaster realm very soon.

Caseous had been in seclusion and came out today to attend the banquet. He had been biding his time to show his talent to the world. This Hunt Family banquet was a good opportunity to let the world know the name of Caseous Morningstar.

”Ethan Hunt, I’ll destroy you and your family’s reputation!” Caseous’s eyes flashed with firm confidence and coldness.

Naturally, they had investigated and confirmed that the young man who attacked Cristan was Ethan. But they had to do it manually, as all online information about Ethan had been blocked—even the videos of him in the base city were deleted.

Super City 1, outside the Hunt Family estate gate.

Countless cars and jets covered the sky. Many types of flying jets hovered there. All of them were the latest models of the Alliance.

At this moment, the Hunt Family estate gate was wide open, welcoming guests from all directions.

As for someone potentially causing trouble? The names of the three Emperors emitted an aura that even low-level Emperors would dread, enough to deter those with impure intentions. No one or no force dared to cause trouble at the Hunt Family banquet.

”Ashbourne Family has arrived, presenting the heir’s congratulatory gift: Phoenix Root!”

”It’s the Ashbourne Family from Super City 7. That old ancestor from the Ashbournes is quite famous.” Some people from various forces discussed quietly.

”The Frost Family has arrived, presenting the heir’s congratulatory gift: one bottle of Elemental Force Gathering Jade Marrow and five Blue Flesh Fruits.”

”Oh my god—the Frost Family even brought out Elemental Force Gathering Jade Marrow! That’s a wonder that can heal the core even if it’s damaged very badly!”

Many people’s eyes turned red upon hearing this.

Each of these gifts, if taken out individually, would be enough to make people flock to them, but now, they were all freely presented to the Hunt Family heir as congratulatory gifts. This couldn’t help but make people envious and jealous.

”Windsor Family has arrived, presenting the supreme treasure: a Level 3 Force Weapon—Shadow Sword!”

As the announcement fell, a radiant and charming woman arrived carrying a pristine black box about 1.5 meters long. She smiled sweetly, her beautiful eyes sparkling.

”It’s the Windsor Princess...what a beauty.”

”Alas, such a beautiful woman...we can only admire her from afar, yet she wants to give herself to the Hunt Family heir. It’s truly infuriating to compare ourselves to others.”

Many male prodigies from various forces sighed inwardly. They were not qualified to pursue the Windsor Princess, yet she only wished to be noticed by that mysterious heir.

Subsequently, numerous forces arrived one after another, presenting congratulatory gifts. There were large corporations and the top universities from all over the world.

It could be said that every force that received an invitation came. These forces were all King-level or above and were qualified to enter the Hunt Family estate gate.

As for those Grandmaster forces that weren’t even King-grade, they could only present gifts and then stay at the banquet outside the gate. These forces had no complaints, as they truly weren’t qualified.

”Alliance Vice President Leon Gravis has arrived.”

The moment the announcement was made, the entire area went dead silent. Even the sound of heartbeats could be heard.

Alexander and his two sons came in a hurry.

”That’s Master Alexander and his two sons. They came personally to receive the Vice President.”

”I feel honored just to be present here and see their divine presence once in my life,” said some martial artists emotionally.

The air grew thick with heavy pressure. An obsidian jet arrived above the gate but didn’t land.

The hatch opened. Leon was stepping out.

He wore a formal suit. His hands were behind his back as he stepped into the air.

A horrendous pressure immediately engulfed the crowd. It was not a physical pressure but a spiritual weight—the urge to kowtow before a higher being.

Leon descended as if he were walking down from a star.

Slowly, his feet touched the ground.

Alexander stepped forward and shook his hand.

Leon laughed heartily.

”Alexander, you old fox. You sure know how to move fast. That boy just came yesterday, and already you threw such a grand party. You’ve tricked me into this, huh?” Leon snorted in mock anger.

Alexander laughed too. ”What are you talking about, Vice President? He is, after all, the blood of the Hunts. Of course I would arrange such a small banquet.” There was a hint of mockery in his voice.

Leon said, ”Anyway, I’m not here to see your old rotting face. Where is the boy? I’ll give him his gift personally.”

Alexander said, ”Please, come inside.”

Everyone heard the conversation. Caseous heard it too.

Everyone felt as if they had been struck by thunder.

They had heard the rumors about how monstrous a genius this mysterious heir was—the Hunt Family had advertised it efficiently. But most thought it was just exaggeration.

But now, it seemed the rumors were not false at all. Even the ”Human Calamity” had come personally. Damn!

Now they were all eager to know who this genius was.

Meanwhile, Ethan had finished dressing in his room.

He wore his combat dress.

He was dressed in white—white so pure it almost hurt to look at. A fitted, high-collar shirt hugged the lines of his lean torso. Slim, tactical-cut pants tucked into polished combat boots with alloy insets. Over it all, he wore a long, flowing trench coat that reached his ankles, its high collar framing his face in stark elegance. A thin alloy belt closed it at the waist.

He knew tonight wouldn’t be a normal banquet but a banquet of supremacy.

His mental domain already covered the entire Hunt estate and many areas beyond.

He could clearly see how many people had come, who they were, and what they were saying. Even the Vice President had come—and hadn’t yet presented his gift.

He was eager to see what that big shot would give him.

Moreover he was actually excited today. If anyone challenge him tonight, he would use his heavenly asura technique to it’s fullest.
