Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

”Hahaha... Big talk! Do you really think Shanghai is your world now?”

Yang He’an laughed uproarly, then looked coldly at Lin Mo, ”Let me tell you, the matter is not over after you injured my son today!”

”I don’t like to repeat myself,” Lin Mo said, with his hand casually in his pocket and an indifferent tone, clearly not taking Yang He’an’s words to heart. ”If you think you’re up to it, feel free to come to me for a reckoning.”

Even if he wasn’t in Imperial City, what did it matter? Those with strength could soar high into the Nine Heavens and remain untouchable anywhere!

”Alright, alright!!”

Yang He’an was fuming, ”I want to see how a kid from Imperial City like you can cause a big stir in Shanghai.”

”That’s right, an out-of-towner, even we can take you down in Shanghai in a matter of minutes!” Zhou Li also chimed in, glaring fiercely at Lin Mo, with clear hate in her eyes.

Lin Mo, oblivious to their hostile glances, helped his grandfather Yang Weihai up with a gentle smile,

”Grandpa, let’s go, I’ll take you to get your body conditioned.”

Then, Lin Mo took Yang Weihai to a place called First-class Porridge.

After walking in, Lin Mo ordered the most expensive nourishing porridge, which was very beneficial for replenishing the body and nourishing the spleen.

Sitting at the dining table in the hall, Grandpa Yang Weihai was shocked when he saw the price on the menu,

”Child, this one costs sixty to seventy thousand.”

Lin Mo just smiled faintly, ”No matter, since you are my grandpa, you naturally deserve the best. Forget sixty to seventy thousand for a portion, if you think it tastes good later, I could even buy the entire First-class Porridge restaurant so grandpa can come and eat anytime.”

Hearing this, Yang Weihai’s heart warmed. Although it sounded a bit fantastical, people like Lin Mo and Yang Chuxue who cared about him this much were extremely rare in Shanghai.

”You are considerate, my child.”

Yang Weihai smiled contentedly, and then his gaze fell on Xia Mengdie, ”Mo’er, look at this old fool, preoccupied with family matters, I didn’t take care of this young lady. Is she yours?”

Xia Mengdie smiled sweetly and introduced herself, ”Grandpa, I’m Lin Mo’s girlfriend, my name is Xia Mengdie.”

”The young lady is really pretty. My grandson is so lucky to have found such a nice girl like you. Mo’er, you must treat her well in the future.”

”Grandpa, you’re too kind, Mo and I truly love each other. Besides, Mo is so much better than me, I’m just too happy to be his girlfriend.”

”Hahaha... This child really knows how to speak, no wonder she’s so likable.”

Soon, the porridge worth sixty to seventy thousand was served, and Yang Weihai took a sip, feeling rejuvenated.

Seeing this, Yang Chuxue felt a bit heart sore, ”Dad, eat some more. I haven’t seen you for a few months, and you’ve lost so much weight.”

As Lin Mo helped Yang Weihai with the porridge, he asked, ”Grandpa, what exactly has happened with the Yang Family?”

”It’s a long story.”

”No worries, take your time.”

”Our Yang Family was originally among the top three in Shanghai, both in terms of wealth and status. However, half a year ago, a family called the Gongsun Family moved in, growing rapidly. In just half a year, they became a dominant force in Shanghai.”

”Later, the Gongsun Family started the Commercial Association in their own name, demanding that every family join, with annual fees based on the familial ranking, highest to lowest.”

”At first, most families were unwilling, but any that opposed the Gongsun Family basically fell into financial crisis, with their family businesses constantly running into trouble.”

”Our Yang Family has been established for decades, never bowing to anyone. Naturally, I was unwilling to submit to the Gongsun Family. As a result, we were targeted by them and other families in a business siege, causing our stock to plummet and the Yang Group to be unable to recover.”

Upon hearing this, Lin Mo’s eyes flashed with anger, ”The Gongsun Family really dared to drive my grandfather’s Yang Group into a corner.”

Immediately afterwards, Lin Mo turned to look at Yang Weihai, speaking earnestly, ”Grandpa, you should rest well these days, and leave the company matters to me.”

”You’ll handle it?”

Yang Weihai could only offer a wry smile and shook his head, ”Mo’er, the entire Yang Group has already fallen into a desperate situation, and there’s simply no chance of it coming back to life.”

”Don’t worry, Grandpa, since I said I can handle it, it means I definitely can,” Lin Mo declared with a domineering look in his eyes. ”Not only will I revive the Yang Group from death, but I will also make the Gongsun Family pay the price they deserve!”

”Mo’er, don’t be reckless. Now, as the overlord of Shanghai, the Gongsun Family is absolutely not someone we can easily confront,” the grandfather’s face changed slightly.

”Don’t worry, Grandpa, I won’t do anything without assurance, you don’t have to worry too much.”

Just at this moment, a clamor of footsteps suddenly came from downstairs.

From a distance, Lin Mo could hear the conversation between several people:

”Baked Leader Li Ju, you must stand up for us!”

”What’s the background of the other party?”

”Nothing much, just a kid from Imperial City. But the way he conducts himself is outrageous; he didn’t only beat up my son but also made arrogant statements, claiming that no one in Shanghai dare provoke him.”

”How audacious! A mere outsider dares to spout such wild claims in Shanghai, as if I, Li Jun, don’t exist?”

”Take me upstairs to see who this kid is, daring to be so brazen!”

”Alright, Baked Leader, you definitely cannot let that guy off.”

”Don’t worry, I assure you I’ll take care of that kid properly!”

Hearing this, Yang He’an, Zhou Li, Yang Zihao, and a host of other direct descendants of the Yang Family all revealed a vicious smile.

An outsider from Imperial City daring to be so dismissive in Shanghai was simply courting death!

Very soon, people like Yang He’an and Li Jun had already made their way to the second floor of First-class Porridge.

The group filed in one after another, and behind Li Jun, there were more than twenty police officers following!

Yang He’an caught sight of Lin Mo immediately, and with extreme satisfaction, he sneered, ”Kid, you’ve got guts, hitting someone and still daring to sit here calmly, having porridge with my dad.”

Yang Weihai, seeing more than twenty police officers arrive, couldn’t help but feel a sinking feeling in his heart.

However, Lin Mo appeared indifferent, looking at Yang He’an and Li Jun as if they were mere ants.

”Kid, weren’t you very arrogant just now? Why aren’t you talking anymore! I think you’re scared stiff, not daring to even fart!” Yang He’an barked as he briskly walked up to Lin Mo, kicking the table and cursing, ”I’m talking to you!”

Yang He’an, believing that with himself and Li Jun bringing more than twenty police officers, Lin Mo definitely wouldn’t dare to make a move, became very arrogant.

Smack!

However, the next second, everyone was dumbfounded.

Lin Mo simply lifted his hand, and in an instant, he slapped Yang He’an, sending him flying seven or eight meters away, crashing into flower stands, shattering numerous potted plants, his body soaked in blood. Yang He’an lay on the ground, his face contorted in agony.
