Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

The next day, the sun shone brightly.

Lin Mo let Xia Mengdie return to school first, while he and Lin Guang went to visit their cousin, Lin Yun’s home.

At the same time, at Lin Yun’s home, it seemed as if the entire villa was enveloped in festivity.

Many distinguished guests had come to give their congratulations.

It was no wonder, for Lin Yun’s intended, Meng Qiuping, was the sole heir of the Meng Family, which ranked third in the Imperial City.

However, within the bridal chamber, the expression on Lin Yun’s face starkly contrasted with the jubilation outside.

”Yun’er, you really are beautiful! I can hardly wait to have you now!”

Not far from Lin Yun stood a young man in a suit, smiling broadly, his eyes greedily fixed on her.

Lin Yun frowned deeply, looking at the young man with disgust, ”Meng Qiuping, show some respect! You will never have me.”

”Is that so?”

Despite Lin Yun’s attitude, Meng Qiuping maintained a gentle demeanor, smiling, ”From the moment I first saw you, I fell for you. I want you to be my woman, Meng Qiuping’s woman, no matter the cost.”

”You are shameless! Meng Qiuping, stop wasting your efforts. I will never marry you!”

Lin Yun bit her lip, speaking to Meng Qiuping with some anger.

”Don’t speak so absolutely.”

Meng Qiuping sneered coldly and commanded softly, ”Bring them in.”

The next second, several bodyguards pushed a man and a woman into the room.

Seeing the two, Lin Yun’s face turned pale with shock, ”Dad, Mom!”

Instantly, Lin Yun turned to Meng Qiuping and coldly asked, ”What have you done to my parents these past days?”

Meng Qiuping smirked, saying, ”Nothing really. It’s just that your parents owe our Meng Family two hundred million. Now, the company is facing bankruptcy. I’ve merely had people follow them to prevent them from fleeing, so for now, they have been placed under house arrest.”

”Now, let me ask you once more, are you willing to marry me, Meng Qiuping?”

There was a threatening tone in Meng Qiuping’s voice.

Lin Yun glanced at Father Lin and Mrs. Lin, and responded resolutely, ”Meng Qiuping, I’ve told you, I will not be with you!”

”I’ve also said, don’t speak so absolutely.”

Meng Qiuping’s eyes turned cold as he gestured subtly to a bodyguard behind him.

The bodyguard’s expression turned cruel and the next second, he grabbed Father Lin’s arm and twisted it harshly.

Crack!

A crisp snapping sound echoed as blood instantly stained the entire arm, and Father Lin’s arm was brutally broken.

”Ah!!” A piercing scream filled the room.

”Dad!!”

Lin Yun cried out in heart-wrenching pain, her beautiful eyes filled with fury, ”Meng Qiuping, you bastard!”

”You can call me despicable, shameless, but now, I have only one goal—to make you Meng Qiuping’s woman.”

Meng Qiuping snorted coldly, hands clasped behind his back, his tone arrogant, ”Just now, breaking your father’s arm was just collecting some interest. If you continue to be foolish, this young master might even break your father’s legs next! Letting him spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair!”

”Meng Qiuping, you disgraceful villain, don’t even dream of getting my daughter to marry you. I’ve been tricked by your Meng Family, and that’s my bad luck, but if you think you can use me to threaten my daughter, I’m telling you, it’s not going to happen!”

With those words, Father Lin attempted to bite his tongue to commit suicide.

Slap!

However, before Lin Guang could act, Meng Qiuping furiously slapped Father Lin’s face and grabbed his jaw with a venomous look, ”Old fool, you think you can die if you want to?”

”Someone, pull out all this old fool’s teeth. I want to see how he can kill himself.” Meng Qiuping said with a cold smirk.

Immediately, two bodyguards pinned Father Lin to the ground, and one of them took out a pair of pliers.

Just as they were about to start, Mrs. Lin broke down:

”Meng Qiuping, let my husband go! Let him go!”

”You beast, I’ll fight you!”

However, before Mrs. Lin could reach Meng Qiuping, he brutally kicked her away, sending her flying two to three meters.

Mrs. Lin spat out a mouthful of fresh blood and upon seeing this, Lin Yun burst with rage, ”Meng Qiuping, you won’t die a good death.”

”Lin Yun, I’ll give you one last chance, if you don’t agree to my terms, right now, I will cripple your father’s legs!”

Meng Qiuping scoffed, his foot pressing directly on Father Lin’s knee, his eyes fiercely cold.

As he spoke, Meng Qiuping exerted a little more force, and soon the sound of bones gradually separating could be heard, causing Father Lin to immediately cry out in agony, ”Ah ah…”

”Stop it!! I agree... let my father go!”

Tears streamed down Lin Yun’s face, and she desperately wanted to tear Meng Qiuping to pieces. However, her parents’ lives were in Meng Qiuping’s hands, and Lin Yun was utterly helpless.

As for calling the police, Lin Yun had tried that a few days ago. The police arrived and left within minutes.

The Meng Family’s energy was so immense that the Lin Family could not compete at all.

The key issue was that the Lin Family now owed the Meng Family two hundred million! The company was also in crisis, and the police could only turn a blind eye.

Seeing Lin Yun relent, a heavy lust appeared on Meng Qiuping’s face, and he said to a bodyguard next to him: ”Get ready for the wedding immediately!”

The bodyguard immediately ran out, and Meng Qiuping glanced at Father Lin and Mrs. Lin, and said lightly, ”Take these two old fools away.”

Then, his gaze settled on Lin Yun, suppressing the desire in his heart, and with a sneer, ”Dress yourself up properly, and don’t let the guests see your reluctance, or else, your parents will definitely suffer!”

With those harsh words, Meng Qiuping burst into laughter, extremely pleased, and walked towards the door.

In the room, only Lin Yun was left with a miserable smile: ”Who can save me?”

The Meng Family, as a newly rising powerful family in the Imperial City, although many people were unclear about the forces standing behind the Meng Family.

But one thing they knew for sure, they were not entities to be provoked.

After all, the Meng Family had risen to become the third-ranked family in the Imperial City in just a few months, which was enough to show how tremendous their family’s energy was.

Therefore, many celebrities and nobles in the Imperial City came to congratulate them.

Outside the door, there were already various luxury cars parked, showcasing an extremely lavish lineup.

And Meng Qiuping was beaming, greeting the wealthy and influential of the Imperial City.

However, in the blink of an eye, the sky suddenly darkened, and heavy clouds loomed.

Seeing this, someone from the Meng Family couldn’t help but whisper ominously, ”Young Master, nothing bad is going to happen today, is it?”

”Shut up!”

Meng Qiuping stared at him fiercely, his eyes cold, ”Today is my joyful day, Meng Qiuping. Who would dare to cause trouble at our Meng Family’s event?”

”Meng Tingpeng is right. Not to boast, but currently in the entire Imperial City, the number of people who dare to oppose our Meng Family definitely does not exceed three!”

A middle-aged man beside Meng Qiuping took over the conversation, his voice authoritative and confident, yet his gaze shifted to twelve men in red robes to his left, who exuded an eerily menacing aura, fierce and formidable.
