Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme

”So what if he’s from out of town?”

Lin Mo’s gaze shifted, speaking in a calm and indifferent tone.

”So what?”

Young Master Zhu smirked coldly, pointing at the departing customers and spoke arrogantly,

”Kid, are you blind? It’s not just you outsiders, even locals stay well clear of me, Zhu Yinglong.”

”Now, I’ve booked this whole restaurant. If you know what’s good for you, get lost now!”

Lin Mo frowned slightly, ”The same goes for you; get as far away from me as you can before I lose my temper.”

”HAHAHA...”

Upon hearing this, Zhu Yinglong threw back his head and laughed wildly, full of contempt, ”Boy, you clearly have no idea what kind of figure Zhu Yinglong is in Shanghai!”

”You talk too much crap, bother me again, and don’t blame me for not being polite,” Lin Mo said in an indifferent tone.

Hiss!

At those words, the customers who had originally planned to leave all stopped in their tracks.

This was their first time seeing someone talk back to Zhu Yinglong so boldly.

And it was an outsider at that!

”Wow, this kid is really full of himself.”

”Does he not know about Zhu Yinglong’s background?”

”There’s a saying, ’even a powerful dragon can’t suppress a local snake.’ I think this kid’s never suffered at the hands of Zhu Yinglong before. By the looks of it, he’s in for a beating today.”

”Damn! An outsider dog dares to act tough in front of me, Zhu Yinglong? You’re freaking asking for it!”

At the same instant, Zhu Yinglong, furious to the extreme, clenched his fist and swung a fierce punch toward Lin Mo’s forehead.

Snap!

However, before his fist could land, Lin Mo raised his hand and delivered a slap.

The slap stunned Zhu Yinglong, and everyone present was shocked as well. No one had expected Lin Mo to hit Zhu Yinglong without a second word—how audacious!

Zhu Yinglong touched the five clearly visible blood marks on his face, his expression immediately turning ferocious, ”Damn it, you dared to hit me?”

The next second, Zhu Yinglong, as if gone mad, grabbed a stool and fiercely smashed it towards Lin Mo’s head.

But before he could get close, with a gentle pat on the table from Lin Mo,

Whoomp!

In an instant, the chopsticks in front of Lin Mo shot out like arrows, piercing straight through Zhu Yinglong’s shoulder.

Blood gushed out profusely, and Zhu Yinglong’s face went completely pale with pain.

Seeing this, everyone around was terrified.

Manager Wu, in particular, stared at Lin Mo with a face full of fear, ”It’s over! Young man, you dared to harm Young Master Zhu, the Zhu Family will never let you off.”

Zhu Yinglong’s face was ferociously staring at Lin Mo, ”Boy, nobody in Shanghai dares to lay a hand on me, Zhu Yinglong. You’re the first, and if I don’t teach you a lesson today, I might as well not bother mingling in Shanghai anymore.”

With that, Zhu Yinglong pulled out his phone and quickly dialed a number.

”Calling for backup, huh? You better call some of the toughest guys over, I don’t have much time to play with you.”

Yet Lin Mo remained fearless, looking at Zhu Yinglong as though he was nothing but an ant, his expression incredibly calm.

”Fine, you’ve got guts, just wait and see!”

Zhu Yinglong clenched his teeth in anger.

Soon, a swarm of men in black pressed towards the upstairs of Baifei Western Restaurant.

Those bodyguards all came uniformly before Zhu Yinglong, ”Young Master Zhu, what happened?”

”Are you f*cking blind, didn’t you see that this kid hit me!”

Zhu Yinglong cursed loudly, his gaze falling on Lin Mo with a fierce tone, ”Kid, if today I don’t make you crawl out of here, then I’m not Zhu Yinglong. Get on your knees right now, and beg for mercy, and maybe, just maybe, I’ll spare your dog’s life.”

”Is this the backup you called for?” Lin Mo glanced at the dozen or so bodyguards, his look filled with disdain, ”If it’s them, you can piss off. Annoy me again, and I’ll beat you to death.”

”Hahaha...” Zhu Yinglong punched the table, his face filled with extreme arrogance, ”Boy, each one of them cost our Zhu Family five million US dollars, and they can each take on ten special forces soldiers. You’re looking to die, aren’t you? I’ll grant your wish. Attack!”

The dozen or so bodyguards, with a fierce look in their eyes, didn’t say a word, raised their fists, and charged at Lin Mo.

Their shapes were fast, their Fist Winds like steel, brimming with power.

The surrounding people were terrified, for if all the punches were to land on Lin Mo, he probably wouldn’t just be injured—he would be crippled.

However, Lin Mo watched the dozen or so bodyguards as if they were mere ants, sitting still, not moving a muscle!

The next second, just as dozens of fists were about to smash into Lin Mo’s face, Lin Mo suddenly moved.

Striking as fast as lightning, Lin Mo grabbed the arms of two men and snapped them on the spot. Then, gripping their bodies, he hurled them around like shot puts, towards the people around him.

Bang Bang Bang!!

In an instant, before everyone could understand what happened, those dozen bodyguards were all sprawled on the floor, some with broken legs, others bleeding profusely, the scene too horrific to endure.

Seeing this, Zhu Yinglong’s eyes popped in disbelief, swallowing hard, ”Damn it... How can he be so strong?”

He didn’t have time to think further, Zhu Yinglong turned and ran without a word.

Lin Mo, however, didn’t even give him a glance, just lifted his foot and kicked, instantly, a stool beside him flew toward Zhu Yinglong’s back.

Thump! Crack!

Zhu Yinglong was sent flying to the ground, with at least a good five ribs broken on his back, squirming in agony, ”Ah!! It hurts to death.”

Lin Mo stood up and walked over to him proactively.

”You... don’t come over here.” Zhu Yinglong trembled all over with fear, as if seeing the Devil.

”Don’t be afraid, I’m not in the mood to kill now.”

Lin Mo stepped on his face with one foot, the tone of his voice cold and authoritarian, ”Remember this, just because I don’t want to kill now doesn’t mean you can continue to provoke me. If there’s a next time, not only will I kill you, but I might even wipe out your entire family backing you! Got it?”

”G-got it.” Zhu Yinglong nodded repeatedly, his heart filling with resentment. When had he ever been treated like this in Shanghai? He had always been the one who bullied others!

”Get lost, quickly.” Lin Mo nudged him with his foot, speaking indifferently.

”Yes, yes, yes.”

Zhu Yinglong, as if having received a pardon, despite being in severe pain just moments before, sprang up and ran out, full of life.

Seeing this scene, all those around were dumbfounded.

The Zhu Family was one of the top ten families in Shanghai, and this was definitely the first time they had seen Zhu Yinglong so thoroughly humbled by someone.

Just after Zhu Yinglong had left, Yang Chuxue expressed her concerns, ”Mo’er, we’ve just arrived in Shanghai and you’ve already hit him. I’m afraid he won’t let this go so easily.”

”No matter, if he dares to not recognize his place, I won’t mind wiping out their entire Zhu Family!”

(This is the seventh release, the chapter title was written as the eighth by mistake. I didn’t expect it to be so late, and now I’m extremely sleepy. One chapter is owed and will be made up tomorrow. Tomorrow will still have eight chapters as the base, plus the owed chapter, making it nine, and then depending on the situation for how many days I will continue to release chapters intensively. After the intensive release, I will return to four daily chapters and then take some rest before another intensive release. Thank you to the readers following the updates; I’m really too sleepy to continue. Everyone should go to sleep early, and I’ll try to release the chapters earlier tomorrow so you won’t have to stay up late waiting for an update.)
