Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 1294: Chapter 1293: Future Mother-in-Law Answered the Call!

Matchmaking?

Is there some mistake?

Tara Jameson stared incredulously, eyes wide, at Aunt Zhou, who was discussing by herself on the other side.

”Aunt Zhou, I’m not ready to find a boyfriend yet.”

She said it apologetically, her meaning quite clear.

”Listen to the young girls today, back in our days, a girl your age would already be married and have kids. If you don’t start looking now, by the time you want to, you’ll be considered an old maid.”

Aunt Zhou disapprovingly looked at Tara, then turned her gaze to Tara’s mom and dad.

”The family I’m proposing, they’re trustworthy. The young man is a chef, has a golden career, skilled hands that can survive anywhere.”

”And look at your Tara, she only knows how to study. Let them meet first.”

”They can talk, technology is advanced now, you can call or go online, and as soon as Tara graduates, they can marry, wouldn’t that be great?”

Aunt Zhou spoke incessantly, repeating her persuasion like brainwashing.

Listening to this, Tara felt a headache coming on.

”I’m definitely not going to check it out.”

Saying this, Tara prepared to return to her room.

”Look at your Tara’s attitude, while I keep telling the groom’s side that Tara is kind, virtuous, and efficient. Her current behavior is making me lose face.”

”Don’t be upset, it’s not Tara’s fault. She just got back, and she has no mental preparation yet.”

”I don’t blame her. If kids turn out like this, it’s because parents spoiled them. So are you going to see the family or not?”

”Let’s just see them, tomorrow I’ll take her to the city.”

Tara’s mom agreed outright, disregarding Tara’s objection.

Hearing her mom agree, Tara turned around and went back into her room.

How can they be like this?

Tara sat at her desk, feeling wronged, and tears welled up in her eyes.

About half an hour later, Tara’s mom entered her daughter’s room.

”Aunt Zhou suggested this match at night, refusing would be rude, right? If you really don’t want to talk, just go and take a look, then find an excuse to turn it down later.”

Tara’s mom sat lovingly at Tara’s side and reached out to stroke her hair.

”Tara, be honest with me, did you find a boyfriend at School?”

She could sense the slightest change in her own daughter.

Tara had been distracted all evening, and Tara’s usual polite nature had gone, showing none to Aunt Zhou tonight.

This kind of behavior lends itself to suspicion.

Upon hearing this question from her mom, Tara fell silent.

”Silly girl, tell me, where is he from? How much do you know about him? Don’t get deceived, alright? Although the family always wished for you to marry someone local, if you really like someone and they’re good, dad and mom won’t oppose it.”

What parent doesn’t want the best for their children?

Tara was about to speak with teary eyes, but unexpectedly, her phone rang.

As Tara saw the caller ID, she was ready to hang up, only to have her mother reach out and take the phone.

”Hello?”

Tara’s mom answered, curious to see who was on the other end.
