Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 1286: Chapter 1285: Nia Mitchell, You Deserved It

Nia Mitchell was crying uncontrollably, standing there looking extremely aggrieved.

”Master was too much, he should have talked to you properly, but Madam, you really did eat too much. And the stuff sold outside contains a lot of unhealthy additives like artificial colors and sweeteners.”

Frederick Goldsmith advised her with earnest sincerity, seeing her like this, he couldn’t help but sigh.

”Actually, the Master only pretends to be tough on the outside but is soft-hearted. Just now, he instructed the kitchen’s pastry chef to make a small ice cream cake. The kitchen is busy with it now.”

Nia Mitchell was taken aback when she heard Frederick say this, a bit incredulous.

”Did you say Uncle instructed the kitchen to make an ice cream cake for me?”

”Exactly.”

Hearing this, Nia Mitchell didn’t care that she hadn’t finished changing her shoes, she ran straight to the kitchen.

Sure enough, she saw the pastry chef in the kitchen working on an ice cream cake, and it was almost done.

Just needed the finishing touches.

Seeing the cake, Nia Mitchell was immediately overwhelmed with emotion.

”I need to go apologize to Uncle.”

After saying this, Nia Mitchell turned and dashed upstairs.

But unexpectedly, she was wearing a slipper on one foot and a sneaker with its laces undone on the other, not suited for running at all.

”Madam, change your shoes first, don’t...”

”Ah!”

”Bang!”

Don’t fall!

Before Frederick could finish his warning, Nia Mitchell, in her rush, had already taken a hard fall, sprawling out on the floor.

And just her luck, she hit her forehead on a step of the stairs.

Hiss——

It hurt so much!

Tears streamed down Nia Mitchell’s face again, pain radiating from her forehead, elbows, and knees.

Dazed and dizzy, she felt like her vision went black for a moment.

”Madam, are you okay?”

Frederick rushed to Nia Mitchell’s side, quickly helping her up.

”It hurts~~~~”

It hurt so much!

Nia Mitchell didn’t want to cry, being an adult, crying was too embarrassing.

But it really hurt so much.

”Hurry, go upstairs and call the Master.”

”Yes.”

A maid quickly ran upstairs, and soon Maxwell Peary appeared before Nia Mitchell with a panicked expression.

”What happened?”

Nia Mitchell’s tears had stopped by now, leaving only the redness and swelling from her crying.

Seeing her in this state, Maxwell felt his heart ache to the point of breaking.

All he could see was her forehead swelling into a bump.

”Madam hurried upstairs to find you just now, but she didn’t expect to fall here.”

Frederick briefly summarized what had just happened.

After hearing this, Maxwell’s face turned grim, and he immediately scolded Nia Mitchell.

”I told you to change your shoes, but you didn’t listen. Look where that got you! Didn’t anyone ever tell you not to run? You just don’t believe it, so you deserve it if you fall, no one will feel sorry for you!”

The CEO was still angry about the previous incident, and with this happening, he couldn’t help but lash out.

Nia Mitchell was taken aback by his yelling, sitting on the floor with teary eyes looking at him.

”Don’t look at me with that pitiful expression, you deserved it!”

Maxwell stood up angrily, not looking at Nia Mitchell again, turned and started heading upstairs.

”I won’t bother with your affairs anymore. Anyway, you don’t like me meddling in your matters, do whatever you want.”

Watching Maxwell’s retreating figure, seeing him about to leave like this, Nia Mitchell panicked completely.
