Global Survival: I Got the D-Rank Personnel Simulator

”The recent Nighttime Activities seem to have gotten a bit more difficult, don’t you think?”

”I think it’s fine. You can tell from the death toll that the overall strength of Survivors is increasing, so naturally, the activity difficulty would rise.”

”Quite a few big shots have advanced recently. This War Front activity won’t get harder, will it?”

”The system should assign tasks based on the strength of the Survivors. Otherwise, if they assigned you to a battlefield with Brother Lin, you might not even last a minute.”

”True. But will this kind of phased Nighttime Activity be different from before?”

”Hard to say. Hearing you mention it, I suddenly feel a bit uneasy.”

”Anyway, it’s best to prepare first. Better safe than sorry.”

”Exactly. I’m going to the Game Room for my spiritual energy circulation.”

”Sigh, I’m almost out of red coins.”

...After finishing his breakfast, which had a rather peculiar taste and texture, Lin Ye closed the Group Chat and the Music Box. He first went to the Rule Mining Area to mine for an hour, then returned to the Shelter, lay down on the bed, and began his daily simulation.

When Lin Ye regained his senses, he was already standing outside Ward 419. The door opened automatically, seemingly inviting him inside.

Lin Ye entered the ward and placed the pale purple Suitcase in his hand on the floor. Today, the young girl was more proactive than usual, which gave him a faint sense of foreboding.

”You’re here. Come, sit down. Would you like something to eat?”

The young girl spoke in a voice that would make anyone feel cheerful.

”You’re making me uneasy acting like this. If you have something to say, just say it directly.”

Lin Ye picked up the iced cola on the table and took a sip. He was already prepared to go on an adventure. The young girl had helped him many times before, so if she needed his help with something, he naturally wouldn’t refuse.

He could just treat it as completing a simulation task for the organization. While there weren’t ten Simulation Attempts here, the starting point was much stronger than over there.

”That host you gave me last time was quite good. I managed to gather quite a bit of free-floating mental energy from that Plane. Your share is already prepared; you can take it whenever you want. After that, I developed a technique that can move hosts of similar forms to other Planes. This way, I can travel to other Planes for leisure through this host Plane-hopping method. But there’s a problem with this.”

The young girl pushed a plate of cut fruit towards Lin Ye.

”What problem?”

Lin Ye didn’t particularly like eating fruit while drinking cola; it made both tastes a bit strange. But the fruit the young girl chose was different. This fruit, which Lin Ye had never seen before, paired very well with cola.

”The hosts moved over are too fragile. I can’t directly control such a fragile body. Moreover, the host’s growth rate isn’t sufficient. Usually, before they can grow to a certain level, they get eliminated by the locals because of their strange appearance.”

The young girl said with some distress.

”Huh, you mean you want me to go over and help you cultivate a host?”

Lin Ye felt this task was quite simple.

”If it were just cultivating a host, I could send Mia over for me. Although she’s a bit unreliable, one or two out of ten hosts would probably survive... But it’s not that simple. There’s a Plane I’ve always wanted to visit, but entering that Plane is very difficult. Right now, there’s an opportunity to deploy a host to that Plane. I need a reliable person to make a trip for me.”

The young girl looked at Lin Ye. This could no longer be considered a hint.

”I have a system activity to attend tonight. If I can return before that, then it’s no problem.”

Lin Ye downed the cola in one gulp. He was already accustomed to carrying out various troublesome tasks.

”That’s great. You need to go there and help a certain friend of mine with a small favor, and also help me cultivate a host. After you finish things over there, I’ll bring you back and send Mia over to take over... That friend of mine isn’t an easy person to get along with, so what you need to do might not be simple.

Apart from being able to pull you back, I cannot intervene in the affairs of that Plane. Over there, you can only rely on yourself.”

The young girl didn’t think Lin Ye would run into any problems after going over, but she still reminded him.

”Okay. By the way, I recently obtained a Falling Rule Fragment. What would be the consequences of using it?”

Lin Ye wasn’t very knowledgeable about this aspect.

”Falling? For others, the consequences of using it would be extremely severe. A single misstep, and even dying would be difficult. But you’re different. A single Rule Fragment can’t affect you. After all, the messy things inside you are far more troublesome than a Rule Fragment.”

The young girl said very casually.

This was also one of the advantages of the Risk Hedging Plan. Some not-too-major risks could be casually endured.

It wouldn’t get any worse anyway.

”Then it’s fine. Are you sending me over now?”

Lin Ye planned to research the Falling Rule Fragment after returning.

”Mhm, take this book.”

The young girl handed Lin Ye a golden book thicker than a dictionary. The moment Lin Ye touched the book, he lost consciousness.

”So you’re the helper my grandmother’s friend sent? You don’t look very strong.”

A crisp voice rang in Lin Ye’s ear. Lin Ye opened his eyes. The first thing he saw was a pair of light blue, slightly green eyes that resembled gemstones.

Standing before him was a golden-haired young girl wearing a luxurious dark red dress. She looked like a noble young lady from some story.

Lin Ye was inside a very luxurious room. He was currently a Tyrannosaurus rex only a little over a meter tall. His two small claws looked quite comical, and one of them was still holding the pale purple Suitcase.

”This is just a disguise. If I appear too powerful, I’d easily attract attention.”

Lin Ye casually made up an excuse.

”But true powerhouses wouldn’t care about such things... Whatever. Anyway, I don’t need you to do anything. You just need to follow me and not do anything unnecessary.”

The young girl seemed to have lost interest in Lin Ye. She turned and walked towards the door, gesturing for Lin Ye to follow.

Lin Ye didn’t mind the attitude she displayed. This seemingly very young girl was a high-level spiritual energy user. Coupled with her illustrious family background, it would be abnormal if she *weren’t* acting like this.

After following the young girl out of the room, Lin Ye curiously gathered information about this Plane. The Spiritual Energy Concentration in the environment was extremely high. The corridor was very wide, with many spiritual energy items used for decoration nearby. Some attendants and guards stood on either side of the corridor, bowing to the young girl.
