Global Survival: I Got the D-Rank Personnel Simulator

”Cough cough, did we really escape? I’m not dreaming, am I?”

In the flesh pillar passageway, the researcher who had just woken up asked.

”If you’re awake, walk by yourself. You had it easy, passing out directly. You really scared me before.”

Another researcher whispered.

Lin Ye walked at the very front, holding the Cross Scepter. His mental energy was recovering rapidly, and it wouldn’t be long before it was restored to more than half.

Regina followed at the rear of the group. Although her condition wasn’t great either, she was at least in better shape than those two researchers.

A few surviving Red Frogs scouted the path ahead. Suddenly, Lin Ye lost contact with the Red Frogs.

Spatial fluctuations appeared ahead. Lin Ye quickly moved forward and soon discovered an old portal at the end of the flesh pillar passageway.

The portal seemed to have been activated recently, most likely the work of the previous exploration squad.

Lin Ye and the others passed through the portal and were teleported to another area.[Check-in completed: Raising Pool]

Ignoring the system message before his eyes, Lin Ye expanded his mental energy, wanting to sense the surrounding environment.

”Don’t use mental energy!”

The Captain’s warning sounded from afar, but it was already too late.

Lin Ye felt his mental energy slam into something like a steel plate, causing even his Consciousness to vibrate violently. Fortunately, he had the Seed of Spirit, his consciousness was connected to the divine seat, and, with the steady-as-an-old-dog Abyssal Eye, he didn’t suffer severe mental trauma and quickly stabilized his Consciousness.

”You’re actually okay? Dr. Wells almost sent himself off. I thought you’d be in worse shape than him.”

The Captain exclaimed in amazement. If he hadn’t undergone training in this area, his own condition wouldn’t be much better right now either.

”My mind is stable.”

Lin Ye looked around. He was deep in a narrow alley. Outside the alley was a concrete road with vehicles passing by.

It seemed they had been teleported into a city.

”The teleportation is random. I was lucky to find you so quickly. Don’t use any abilities that exceed normal human limits here, or you’ll suffer backlash.”

The Captain said seriously.

”Then you’d better go find those three people as soon as possible. If special abilities are suppressed, your squad members might be okay, but the condition of the other two will be very poor.”

Lin Ye had only given their wounds basic treatment before, planning to continue once they reached a safe place. He hadn’t expected this situation.

The Captain gave Lin Ye an address and hurriedly rushed out of the alley to find Regina and the others.

Lin Ye also walked out of the alley entrance. It was a city that looked utterly ordinary. As far as he could see, he didn’t notice anything abnormal.

Pedestrians on the road looked at Lin Ye. Some even took out things resembling phones to secretly take pictures. They weren’t afraid of the Nameless Armor Wreckage, seemingly thinking Lin Ye was doing cosplay.

Lin Ye didn’t take off the Nameless Armor Wreckage because it was still operating normally.

’Truly worthy of being an Abyssal Relic.’

Lin Ye, wearing the three-meter-tall Nameless Armor Wreckage, ran on the sidewalk. He didn’t know if this counted as violating traffic rules.

After all, there was no mech lane here.

Lin Ye had a high level of control over his strength. The sidewalk beneath his feet remained completely intact, which also made the traffic officers who had been watching him avert their gazes.

”Mr. Lin, over here!”

A researcher stood outside a clinic waving at Lin Ye. The address the Captain left pointed to this clinic.

”Why a clinic?”

Lin Ye took off the Nameless Armor Wreckage and entered the clinic. While removing it, he felt a certain uncomfortable sensation.

”Many of us are injured, and we’re all undocumented here. We can only use this place as a temporary base for now.”

The researcher replied.

Inside the clinic, injured people lay haphazardly all over the place. Even Dr. Wells was lying on a bed with a pale face, resting with his eyes closed.

”Aren’t you researchers? Can’t you handle such simple injuries?”

Lin Ye found needles, thread, knives, and various medicines in the clinic. He began treating the wounds of the injured people around him. Even without using abilities beyond the conventional, he was an excellent surgeon.

”We have treatment spray, we just can’t take it out right now.”

The researcher said helplessly.

In this area, using a spatial item would cause the retrieved item to be destroyed by spatial force. Multiple attempts could even cause the spatial item to disintegrate.

”These are basic procedures. Cutting, debridement, suturing, bandaging. Can’t you handle such simple operations?”

Lin Ye rapidly treated the injured, his movements more skilled than a worker on an assembly line.

”Uh, I studied liberal arts in university...”

The researcher helped Lin Ye pass various utensils from the side. He was quite good at this kind of work.

Before long, Lin Ye had treated all the injured. He walked out of the clinic and put the Nameless Armor Wreckage back on.

At that moment, the Captain also brought Regina and two researchers in very poor condition over.

Lin Ye simply treated their wounds while wearing the Nameless Armor Wreckage outside. They were lucky; the corrosive effect of that blood was also suppressed. Otherwise, in their current state, Lin Ye wasn’t confident he could save them.

”Dr. Wells’ condition has improved a bit. He wants to discuss our next course of action with us.”

The Captain found Lin Ye and spoke.

Lin Ye followed the Captain to the clinic’s backyard. Dr. Wells sat on a stone chair in the backyard. His mental state had indeed improved somewhat, but his physical condition seemed worse.

”I’m dying. This area not only suppresses all powers that exceed the norm, but it also continuously weakens the effects of various extraordinary powers. This is very fatal for me. If not for the support of various powers, I should have died long ago.”

Dr. Wells looked very calm, as if talking about a topic unrelated to himself.

”I will find a way to leave here as soon as possible. But this city is large. Without being able to use mental energy, I’m also not sure how long it will take to find the exit.”

Faced with the current situation, the Captain didn’t plan to use too much violent means. He was afraid of attracting the attention of the city’s authorities. Even if they were just ordinary people, dealing with them without using extraordinary powers would be troublesome.

And there was another possibility: that only *they* couldn’t use extraordinary powers.

That would be extremely fatal.

”I think we can go out in pairs to search for abnormal places in the city. If this city truly can suppress extraordinary powers, then the method to leave the city might be quite obvious.”

Lin Ye said casually.

”Huh? Wait! Your armor seems more complete now. Is it an automatic repair ability? But isn’t this place supposed to suppress extraordinary powers?”

The Captain suddenly said excitedly.

”...Oh, this is really... We’d better find a way to leave here as soon as possible, otherwise we might not be able to get out.”

Lin Ye hadn’t expected to encounter the extreme environment described in the system information so quickly.
