Global Survival: I Got the D-Rank Personnel Simulator

The attendant led Lin Ye on a leisurely stroll through the manor. Little Silver followed closely behind Lin Ye, curiously observing their surroundings.

Lin Ye: I’m touring the manor. You guys can go tour the manor too, record the nearby terrain and structures.

Lucas: Strange, the attendants outside won’t let me wander around at all. They said the family head wants to see us soon. What did you do?

Anna: It’s similar for me. The attendants here are all low-tier spiritual energy users. There are powerful individuals keeping watch in the shadows. It’s best not to act rashly.

Kumar: Then you need to be careful. I’m also not allowed to leave. If you didn’t do anything special, it means someone wants you to leave your room.

Lin Ye: ...Is it possible they just don’t dare to stop me?

Lin Ye also sensed the powerful individual watching him from a distance. That was a seventh-tier spiritual energy user.

Different from the others, the attendant guiding him on the manor tour was a fourth-tier spiritual energy user.

Lucas: Hard to say. If the strength levels differ, the story characters might indeed treat Survivors differently.

Anna: I feel discriminated against.Kumar: I wish these story characters would discriminate against me. It would make it easier to survive.

Lin Ye continuously memorized the manor’s terrain and structures. Little Silver, following behind him, suddenly stopped and tugged at the corner of Lin Ye’s clothes.

”What’s wrong?”

Lin Ye turned to communicate with Little Silver. He didn’t mind the attendant’s puzzled gaze; the other person couldn’t see Little Silver anyway.

”Yo yo.”

Little Silver pointed to a nearby building, telling Lin Ye there was something good inside.

”I see. Remember to remind me next time too.”

Lin Ye patted Little Silver’s smooth head and noted the building’s location.

”Excuse me?”

The attendant standing nearby looked suspiciously at the spot where Little Silver was, but he couldn’t see anything.

”Sorry, I’ve always had a tendency to see things others can’t. An old habit.”

Lin Ye specifically explained.

”...I see.”

The attendant forced a stiff smile.

Lin Ye smoothly followed the attendant for a full circuit, recording all the locations Little Silver indicated had something good.

After returning to his room, Lin Ye posted a simple topographic map of the entire manor into the chat room.

Lin Ye: It’s roughly like this. However, some details are uncertain, and there might be some hidden spaces.

Lucas: Amazing efficiency! But I’m feeling a bit unwell now.

Anna: Compared to my normal state, I seem somewhat weaker.

Kumar: Damn it, is this some kind of poison? Or some abnormal status effect?

Lucas: Should we act? But there are quite a few mid-level spiritual energy users outside.

Anna: Don’t be impulsive. This is their territory. The effects aren’t obvious yet. We should find a place to regroup first.

Lin Ye: I suggest you wait a bit. This manor has major problems. Right now, there’s more than one faction inside the manor attending the funeral. If we act now, some factions might join forces to eliminate us.

Lin Ye wasn’t afraid to fight, but once he displayed a certain level of strength, all factions in the manor might unite to eliminate them first.

After all, there’s only one inheritance. The strong will definitely be targeted.

Lucas: But I’m afraid someone might attack us soon. Our public identity is outsiders here to investigate the cause of death. Some people probably don’t want us investigating the old man’s death.

Anna: If someone attacks, we’ll have no choice but to fight back.

Kumar: Don’t rush. I’ve already slipped out of my room and am exploring the manor. The map Big Bro provided is quite accurate.

Lucas: You’re pretty efficient too. We’re still in the discussion phase, and you’re already out running around.

Lin Ye: Keep it up, I’m rooting for you. By the way, a high-level spiritual energy user is watching me from outside. You’d better not come near my area.

Anna: Is this the deterrence power of a third-tier powerhouse!?

Kumar: My legs feel a bit weak. Is it too late to go back now?

Lucas: Stop the nonsense. Post some useful information. That way, even if you die, you’ll at least have contributed something to the team.

Kumar: (Building photo) (Building photo) (Building photo) (Building photo) ...

Kumar started secretly photographing nearby buildings. The shooting angles were very strange, as if taken from underground.

Lucas: Why don’t you go inside? What’s the use of just photographing the outside?

Anna: Wait, that building earlier seems to be where important items are stored. My family has buildings with similar styles. The lighting and ventilation systems are practically identical.

Lucas: ?

Kumar: Such an important place must be very dangerous. I’m out, I’m out.

Lin Ye: Idiot, you got too close. That high-level spiritual energy user is coming for you.

Kumar: !

Lin Ye took out the Cross Scepter to admire it. Sensing the Cross Scepter’s aura, that high-level spiritual energy user immediately ran back.

Lin Ye: I lured him back. You better run fast.

Kumar: Thanks!

Lin Ye: No need. In this situation, I don’t dare to run around recklessly either. Remember to take a few more photos before you die.

Kumar: Damn it! This is really damn it!

Lucas: What’s damn it?

Kumar: I mean I’m seeing ghosts! A large number of semi-transparent, ghost-like things are emerging from underground! The manor is full of these ghosts now! Is the manor built on a graveyard?

Anna: It really is. But why are they all staying in place, not moving?

Kumar: Bad! The ghosts nearby are all looking at me! I’m going to be exposed!

Lin Ye: Run towards me. I’ll cover you.

Lin Ye walked out of his room holding the Cross Scepter. The attention of all the spiritual energy users nearby focused on him.

”Do you need anything?”

The attendant approached Lin Ye.

”Nothing, just coming out for a stroll.”

The spiritual energy in the environment gathered towards Lin Ye. Lin Ye compressed the spiritual energy inside the Cross Scepter.

That seventh-tier spiritual energy user appeared not far away. He didn’t attack immediately but stood there watching Lin Ye.

Lin Ye opened a corridor window. Outside stood a large number of semi-transparent figures. Kumar was sprinting frantically towards this building from a distance, followed by several mid-level spiritual energy users wearing cloaks and masks.

Seeing this scene, that seventh-tier spiritual energy user slowly walked towards Lin Ye. The spiritual energy and mental energy within him stirred, ready to erupt at any moment.

Lin Ye turned to look at the seventh-tier spiritual energy user and loosened a sliver of the seal on the Abyssal Eye.

The seventh-tier spiritual energy user immediately stopped. He didn’t know what the hell Lin Ye’s right eye was, but he could sense a trace of the Abyssal Eye’s danger.

Kumar scrambled past Lin Ye’s side. Behind him, those fourth-tier spiritual energy users who approached Lin Ye all had their vital points pierced from behind by Compressed Spiritual Energy Blades.

That seventh-tier spiritual energy user didn’t care at all about the lives of these masked figures. They were clearly not on the same side.

After dealing with the approaching masked figures, Lin Ye brought Kumar back into his room.
