Global Survival: I Got the D-Rank Personnel Simulator

After stuffing the man into the coin slot space, the absorption from the driver’s seat stopped for Lin Ye.

The remaining five passengers in the vehicle didn’t comment on Lin Ye’s actions, as the cabin was filled with an atmosphere of quiet harmony.

Yang Lin nervously observed Lin Ye who had returned to his seat, thinking that the rumors he’d collected previously contained no information about the driver - he had assumed the driver wasn’t important.

Now it seemed that anyone who got involved with the driver probably died, which was why there were no rumors.

Having solved the ticket problem, Lin Ye continued driving the bus forward. Monsters would occasionally suddenly appear on the road, and ultimately all these monsters were crushed to death by Lin Ye.

Another monster appeared in the middle of the road, just as Lin Ye prepared to skillfully ram into it, the monster jumped up.

Thump!

A heavy object landed on the roof, a dark shadow flashed by, and a crack appeared on the left-side window of the driver’s cabin.

Lin Ye tried to attack the monster with his spiritual energy blade, but separated by the bus roof, his mental energy couldn’t control the spiritual energy on top of the vehicle.

Lin Ye hadn’t fully adapted to Robert’s body yet, and the range his mental energy could influence was very small. Otherwise, he could have easily dealt with the monster on the roof through the window.Lin Ye opened the left window, waiting for the monster to attack.

The dark shadow appeared again, and Lin Ye severed it with his spiritual energy blade.

A segment of dark green tail fell onto the road.

The monster kept moving on the roof while emitting screeching sounds similar to screams.

Lin Ye ignored the monster on the roof and continued driving forward.

”Do you need me to help get it down?”

Yang Lin nervously approached the driver’s seat, hoping to communicate with this mysterious driver through this matter.

”No need, let it stay up there. Did you need something?”

Once Lin Ye fully adapted to and enhanced Robert’s body, the monster above would only require one or two spiritual energy blades to deal with.

”Uh, nothing.”

Yang Lin returned to his seat - he didn’t dare tell his purpose to this driver who treated humans as bus tickets.

Lin Ye didn’t say more. The simulation mission so far had average difficulty, and he felt there was possibility of completing this simulation without consuming simulation attempts.

Just as Lin Ye was wondering if he could bring this bus back to the shelter this time, a passenger waving at the bus appeared on the right front side of the road.

There was no bus stop there - the passenger stood by the roadside.

’Should I stop?’

Lin Ye momentarily didn’t know how to choose.

He had already stopped once by the roadside before, so stopping roadside was permitted.

But he couldn’t determine whether picking up passengers roadside was safe behavior.

After thinking for several seconds, Lin Ye decided not to stop for passengers this time.

Because if roadside pickup was freely allowed, then there would be no need to establish bus stops.

So in Lin Ye’s view, letting roadside passengers board was very dangerous behavior.

The bus passed by the passenger at extremely high speed. As the bus approached the passenger, Lin Ye glanced over - it was a beautiful woman wearing luxurious red clothing and holding a red paper umbrella.

The bus successfully distanced itself from the roadside passenger, but before Lin Ye could sigh in relief, he saw the woman’s face again in the rearview mirror.

Now everything below her head had transformed into a mass of flesh spikes, with only her head remaining unchanged - even the smile on her face was exactly the same.

Lin Ye floored the accelerator, but the woman had already disappeared from the rearview mirror... Sharp objects began rapidly striking metal on the roof.

Tingtingtingtingtingtingtingting...

”If you’re so damn fast why do you even need to take the bus?!”

Lin Ye slammed on the brakes, trying to throw off whatever was on the roof. Rubber tires left skid marks on the road as Lin Ye’s head nearly hit the windshield.

Before Lin Ye could steady himself, the woman’s pale face appeared outside the windshield. Their eyes met, their opposite-facing heads separated only by a not-very-thick layer of glass.

”Hello.”

Lin Ye pushed himself away from the driver’s seat with both hands.

Numerous spikes pierced through the roof, shredding Lin Ye’s seat. If he had been even slightly slower, he would have returned to the prison transport vehicle by now.

The spike woman tore through the roof and entered the bus. She shook her head, numerous spikes quivering, slowly approaching Lin Ye.

Tingtingtingtingtingtingtingtingting...

Facing the spike woman directly, Lin Ye tried to sense her body structure, but before his mental energy could even approach her, his brain was struck by intense, sharp pain.

”Damn!”

Lin Ye involuntarily retreated several steps. His mental energy simply couldn’t get close to her, only able to throw spiritual energy blades from a distance.

The spiritual energy blades were easily dispersed by the spikes, forcing Lin Ye to continue retreating.

Dense spikes rained down toward Lin Ye like rainfall. Lin Ye could only forcibly execute his not-yet-completed shotgun blade technique.

Boom!

Compressed spiritual energy erupted forward from Lin Ye. The spike woman hung inverted from the roof, avoiding most of the spiritual energy burst. The rune trap Lin Ye barely managed to create had no effect, and the places where she was hit by spiritual energy only suffered minor injuries.

Having struggled to this point, Lin Ye had exhausted all options. Forcibly using runes while ignoring his body’s limits gave him splitting headaches and blurred consciousness - merely standing was difficult enough now.

But Lin Ye still assumed a boxing stance. If he couldn’t use mental energy, he still had this fragile body.

Before being pierced by numerous spikes, Lin Ye delivered a beautiful jab-step straight punch.

………………………

Buzz buzz buzz...

Lin Ye opened his eyes - he had returned to this prison transport vehicle filled with cold, hard atmosphere.

[Remaining Simulation Attempts: 9]

’Looks like I still have to be a good person. This time I can only let her board.’

Since he couldn’t win in a fight, Lin Ye could only pick up the big sister from the roadside.

The process was the same as last time, but this time Lin Ye demanded to drive first while also requesting a spiritual energy pistol from the captain.

He wanted to test whether driving first would take him to a different road.

The result was no - the road, stops, and passengers were all identical to the previous simulation, only the timing of encountering road-blocking monsters differed. Number One was probably killed by these monsters.

After handling the ticket issue, Lin Ye encountered the red-clothed spike woman again. This time he stopped by the roadside and opened the door to invite her aboard.

After boarding the bus, the spike woman didn’t transform this time, but the coin slot space didn’t open either. The spike woman didn’t submit a ticket, directly sitting behind the driver’s seat.

Remembering what happened to that family who didn’t pay their tickets, Lin Ye developed an unpleasant suspicion.

The moment the bus started moving, Lin Ye felt intense suction sensation - the seat below began forcibly absorbing his spiritual energy and flesh.

Even when moving away from the seat, the absorption didn’t stop, instead gradually intensifying.

Lin Ye had no choice but to pull over and turn to look at the passengers in the back row.

”I already paid my ticket!”

Seeing Lin Ye approach again, the boy excitedly shouted loudly.
