Striker of The Gods

Blood in the Rain

Pre-Match  The Garden at 1:57 a.m.

The rain fell in sheets over the ruined backyard. Caos stood motionless in the center, water streaming down his bare torso, violet energy flickering like dying stars beneath his skin.

He was tired of easy annihilation.

Caos (internal, voice echoing through the Chaos Heart):

I have grown bored of breaking the weak. Sometimes, an unusual thought comes to my mind. I feel like rain is nature’s way of prompting us to take a break from our work, to rest. Because, like I mentioned earlier, the effects of rain are a complete opposite to what a sunny day brings.

A nice, bright day can improve our mood and help us comfortably work under the warmth and light. Whereas a rainy day can prompt us to go under our covers and sip on something warm and soothing. Maybe that is why even just the sound of rain can help me feel more relaxed.

Tonight I want resistance.

I want them to bleed, to fight, to make me remember why I still step onto the pitch.

Not for glory.

Not for records.

For the memory of my mother watching me train as a boy, believing I could be more than the pain she left behind.

He opened his eyes. The violet glow was focused. Hungry for something real.

La Liga – Matchday 7

Real Madrid vs Girona

The Estadi Montilivi was a cauldron of Catalan fire. Girona, the surprise package of recent seasons, arrived with fearless attacking football and tactical intelligence under their coach. They lined up in an aggressive 4-2-3-1: Dovbyk leading the line, Aleix García pulling strings in midfield, and Blind and López forming a solid defensive core. They had studied every match. They came not to survive, but to challenge.

Social media was already a battlefield before kick-off.

#GironaVsTheStorm (trending in Spain)

”Finally, a team that might make Caos sweat. Girona has no fear.” — @LaLiga

“If anyone can stop the violent apocalypse, it’s this Girona side. They play without respect.” — @TheAthletic

Real Player Comments (Pre-Match):

Aleix García (Girona):

We are not going to park the bus. We will attack. If we lose, we lose playing our football. Caos is the best in the world, but even the best can be made uncomfortable.

Artem Dovbyk (Girona):

“I have watched him destroy everyone. But I am not afraid. I will run at him. Someone has to.”

Mbappé (teammate):

Girona plays with courage. This might be the first match this season where we actually have to work. I’m excited.

Vinicius: Madrid hay uno solo!!!! A muerte con este club. SIEMPRE REAL MADRID!!!! We are going to win. No one can stop us.

The whistle blew under pouring rain.

For the first time in weeks, the match was not a slaughter.

Girona pressed high with intelligence and bravery. They closed spaces, doubled up on Caos, and forced him into uncomfortable areas. For twenty-three minutes they made it ugly, physical, and genuinely competitive. Dovbyk nearly scored on a counter. Blind made a heroic block.

Caos felt something stir—not anger, but respect mixed with challenge.

Caos (internal, during a break in play):

Finally. Something that refuses to die quietly.

Then he answered.

In the 29th minute he received the ball deep, accelerated to 329 mph through the rain, and performed a drenched Self-Conquering Requiem that left three Girona players slipping in the mud. From 48 meters, he unleashed a 703 km/h knuckleball that curled viciously into the top corner despite the heavy rain.

1–0.

The Montilivi roared with reluctant admiration.

Girona did not collapse. They fought back.

In the 41st minute, Dovbyk scored a brilliant header on a corner. 1–1.

The stadium exploded. Social media went nuclear.

@ESPN:

GIRONA JUST EQUALIZED AGAINST CAOS. This is the most alive any team has looked against him all season.

@FabrizioRomano:

Real Madrid 1-1 Girona at half-time. The impossible is happening. Girona is not afraid.

Caos’s eyes narrowed. The Chaos Heart flared.

In the second half he became something else.

He scored in the 52nd minute with a powerful header from a corner, dedicating it silently to his mother with one finger to the sky.

2–1.

Then, in the 67th minute, with the rain pouring harder, he received the ball at the halfway line, looked at the exhausted Girona players with something close to respect, and performed the Rainborn Eclipsea 720° spinning aerial chilena from 39 feet in heavy rain that left a violet trail through the water before slamming into the net.

3–1.

Girona kept fighting. They pulled one back in the 81st minute through a brilliant team move. 3–2.

But Caos had the final word.

In the 89th minute, with the pitch a mud bath, he sprinted 45 meters at full speed, dribbled through three challenges in the pouring rain, and finished with a no-look rabona volley from 28 meters that curled perfectly into the far corner.

4–2.

Final score: Real Madrid 4 – 2 Girona

For the first time this season, it had been a real fight.

Caos walked off the pitch with a quiet nod of respect toward the Girona players. No disdain. No cold indifference. Just the smallest acknowledgment that they had made him work.

Post-Match Reactions:

Aleix García (Girona):

We lost, but we made him bleed a little. That’s something. Respect to him; he is from another planet, but tonight we reminded him we exist.”

Social Media:

“Finally a match! Girona took it to Caos and made it 4-2. This is what football should look like.” — @Marca

“Caos still won, but Girona earned respect tonight. Best match of the season so far.” — @ESPNFC

In the tunnel, Xabi Alonso patted his shoulder.

Xabi Alonso:

That was the first real test. You responded like a champion.

Caos nodded, violet eyes calm.

Caos:

They fought. I respected it.

But I am still far from satisfied.

The three maids waited for him with quiet pride.

The season was evolving.

And for the first time, Caos had faced something close to resistance and found it strangely refreshing.

To be continued…
