Striker of The Gods

Memory in Violet

Pre-Match : The Garden at 1:19 a.m.

The night before the first Champions League match of the season, Caos stood alone in the garden under a cold Madrid sky. The air was sharp. The grass still bore scars from weeks of impossible training. He closed his eyes and let the Chaos Heart descend into the deepest fracture.

Mother.

The name alone brought the memory like a blade.

He could still see her — watching him train in the backyard as a boy, her tired eyes filled with quiet pride even as illness ate away at her. The way she smiled when he scored his first goal on the cracked concrete pitch near their old home. The last words she whispered before she left: “Keep running, my chaos. Even when the world tries to slow you down.” The thing is, it was not enough for Caos to face the last moments of those who hated him. He was going to make sure that they disappear.

She had died while he was scoring hat-tricks.

Every trophy since then had felt like an apology he could never deliver.

Caos (whispering into the darkness, voice low and heavy): Tomorrow is not just another match. Tomorrow I play for the woman who stayed when everyone else left. For the one who believed in me before the world did. I will make them remember her name through every goal I score.

The violet in his eyes burned brighter, colder, more focused.

He was no longer angry. He was reverent.

UEFA Champions League – Group Stage, Matchday 1Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich

The Allianz Arena was a fortress of red and white noise. Bayern, still one of Europe’s elite, had built a disciplined machine under new management — high press, compact shape, elite individuals ready to fight. They came to prove they were not another victim.

When FC Bayern first took to the pitch in the Alianz Arena 20 years ago, defeating the German national team 4:2, the football world was unanimous: this is the best stadium in the world. “Glorious” (The Guardian), “a work of art” (Die Welt), “What a temple” (Süddeutsche Zeitung). Even Berlin’s left-leaning Tageszeitung wrote that the stadium was “much more beautiful, much bolder, much more magnificent” than anyone would have expected from FC Bayern. Yet despite all the superlatives, no one could have predicted just how groundbreaking and influential this stadium would become. The Arena marked the dawn of modern football in Germany.

The 2000s saw football evolve in leaps and bounds – it became faster, more complex, more intense, more digital, more lucrative, more global. Our visionary high-tech arena was ahead of its time, part of a trend before it even existed – and it catapulted FC Bayern into new realms. But let’s start at the beginning.

Talk to Uli Hoeneß about the arena today and he’ll call it the most beautiful stadium in the world – but he’s quick to point out the historical context: “If Franz Beckenbauer hadn’t brought the World Cup to Germany, this arena wouldn’t exist.” Suddenly, the endless stadium debate in Munich was over, suddenly there was a site to build on. If the world was coming to visit, we needed a living room to match. Hoeneß admits he “couldn’t quite picture the red ring at first.” But because the decision-makers wisely chose the ingenious yet economical design by architects Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron, the opening match of the 2006 World Cup was held at the Allianz Arena.

They faced a man playing for the memory of his mother.

The whistle blew.

From the first touch, Caos moved with terrifying calm. No visible rage. No theatrical displays. Just pure, surgical reverence.

Bayern pressed high with courage. Kimmich, Musiala, and Kane led the charge, trying to disrupt Real Madrid’s build-up. For eight minutes they managed to make it competitive.

Then Caos received the ball in his own half.

He sprinted forward at a measured 317 mph, eyes glowing softly violet. A Mother’s Eclipse Vortex — a new variation born that night — left three Bayern players spinning in place as the ball wrapped around his body like a loving memory. From 58 meters he launched a 709 km/h knuckleball that curled viciously into the top corner.

1–0.

No wild celebration. Just one finger raised silently to the sky — for her.

Mbappé ran past, eyes wide with respect.

Mbappé: That one felt different. Like it was personal.

Caos (quietly): It is.

The second goal came in the 19th minute. Bayern tried to counter. Caos intercepted with calm precision, dribbled through four challenges using the Fatherless Phantom Helix, then finished with a standing backflip volley from 32 meters — the same technique he had once dedicated to her memory years ago.

2–0.

At halftime the score was 5–0.

In the second half, Caos became a conductor of memory.

Every goal carried her name in silence.

A 67-meter no-look trivela for his fourth. A rabona assist to Vinícius that tore through Bayern’s defense like a final goodbye. Then, in the 78th minute, with the score at 8–0, he received the ball at the halfway line, looked up toward the sky, and performed The Eternal Mother’s Requiem — a 720° spinning aerial chilena from 41 feet that seemed to hang in the air as if time itself was paying respect, before slamming into the net with perfect, devastating beauty.

9–0.

The Allianz Arena fell into stunned, almost reverent silence.

When the final whistle blew, Caos stood alone at the center circle, one finger raised to the sky for a long moment. The Bayern players approached him one by one, offering respectful handshakes. Even Kane nodded with quiet understanding.

In the tunnel, Xabi Alonso waited.

Since 2005, football has become faster, more complex, more spectacular, and the Allianz Arena captures it all: with the spidercam under the roof, offering new perspectives; with Wi-Fi from day one, and since 2020 even 5G, so everyone can share their experiences with the world. The most important moment in a football stadium, wrote Nobel laureate Elias Canetti, is the moment of “discharge”: when everyone in the stands “sheds their differences and feels as one. For the sake of this happy moment, when no one is more or better than anyone else,” people go to the stadium.

This was checked out by Caos before the match. He knew that he had to get to know his rival before eliminating them from life.

They did not take it.

They did not know.

They were helpless.

Xabi Alonso: You played like a man honoring someone tonight. It was beautiful. And terrifying.

Caos (voice calm, eyes distant): She deserved to see this. Since she couldn’t… I made sure the world felt her presence through every goal.

The three maids met him at the private exit. Their eyes were soft with understanding.

Zeraphina: We felt it from the stands. Every goal was for her.

Keyla: You turned the Champions League into a memorial. It was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.

Michaela (gently touching his chest): The Chaos Heart is learning how to carry love instead of just pain.

Caos looked up at the night sky as they drove back toward Madrid.

Caos: Mother… Wherever you are… This season is for you.

The first Champions League match had ended in absolute dominance.

But for Caos, it had been something far more sacred.

A quiet conversation with the only person who had ever truly believed in him before the world did.

To be continued…
