Demon Cultivator in Abyssal Era

Chapter 121: Chapter 108: A Large Amount of Cause and Effect Points

The moment the Silver Knight appeared, even the temperature in the vicinity seemed to drop by a few degrees!

”It’s over, it’s over.”

Shen Tuhu’s pupils were instantly filled with fear and despair, his face turning deathly pale. Bloody and cruel scenes flashed before his eyes. He knew too well the fate of those locked onto by the Silver Knight! He had personally witnessed the brutal slaughter of the Awakened who came with him!

Unless one had flying equipment like Ye Junlin, escape was impossible!

The gap between the Awakened and it was too vast. In front of this terrifying entity, all resistance was futile; direct confrontation was out of the question.

He wanted to run, but the immense fear rooted him to the spot, unable to move his legs.

By then, the Silver Knight’s body was about to fully emerge!

At this critical moment between life and death, a fierce gleam flashed in Shen Tuhu’s eyes. Suddenly, a toy-like hand appeared in his grasp, and he viciously struck at the ”Extreme Dao” that held him!

Artifact: [Hand of Resistance (Treasure)]!

In the instant the artifact activated, an invisible large hand burst forth, delivering a fierce push toward the ”Extreme Dao”!

This was one of the precious artifacts his family had prepared for him, capable of effectively preventing enemies from getting too close!

To Shen Tuhu’s surprise, the Extreme Dao reacted swiftly, or perhaps it had been guarding against him all along. In a flash, its left hand caught and blocked the Hand of Resistance, yet despite this, the potent inertia of the Hand of Resistance still pushed it back a step.

In stark contrast, Shen Tuhu used the counter-force to propel himself backward swiftly!

At the moment of departure, Shen Tuhu distinctly sensed the cold killing intent in the eyes of the Extreme Dao!

Yet, he was not the least bit afraid, instead smiling!

Because by now, the Silver Knight had emerged, drawing its sword and charging at his Extreme Dao!

”Dare to mess with me? Let’s see how I play you to death! Trying to fight me? You’re way off!” Shen Tuhu laughed heartily in his heart.

In his view, no matter how strong the Extreme Dao was, it couldn’t possibly be a match for the Silver Knight, though perhaps it could buy him precious time to escape.

With this thought, Shen Tuhu rolled and deftly dissipated the momentum, climbing up from the ground and speeding away.

Before exiting the restroom, he glanced back, hoping to see panic in the Extreme Dao’s eyes.

Yet to his surprise, the Extreme Dao hadn’t even attempted to flee, merely standing there, cold black eyes fixated on him.

Just as the Silver Knight was about to reach it, a giant fist suddenly materialized in the air. With the sound of the air fiercely compressing, the fist slammed into the Silver Knight’s chest!

In Shen Tuhu’s incredulous gaze, the chest plate of the Silver Knight shattered with a bang! The terrifying force seemed to transform into a tangible shockwave spreading in all directions, as the Silver Knight’s massive figure was blown away, crashing through the wall behind and being directly blasted out of the building!

Shen Tuhu was stupefied. In the next moment, he felt a dense killing intent locking onto him!

His hairs stood on end, and without a second thought, he turned and ran, while within him surged a massive wave of disbelief—he had never imagined anyone could confront the Silver Knight head-on like that!

This was immediately followed by profound fear, as he heard an intense whooshing sound from behind, as if someone was rapidly closing in on him!

Without the slightest hesitation, he turned and hurled a dark seed heavily onto the ground.

In the blink of an eye, the seed quickly grew into countless vines, completely sealing off the hallway outside the restroom!

Artifact: [Forest Prison (Treasure)]!

This was an extremely powerful binding artifact, and its cost was extraordinarily high, causing Shen Tuhu a pang of heartache.

But seeing through the gaps in the vines how the Extreme Dao was blocked, Shen Tuhu felt it was worth it. The Extreme Dao punched at the vines but failed to break through, merely staring defiantly at him. Meanwhile, the Silver Knight was closing in once again, making Shen Tuhu laugh heartily!

It seemed that, though the punch earlier appeared formidable, it hadn’t caused any fatal damage to the Silver Knight.

Shen Tuhu turned and dashed out of the hallway, the deafening clash of metal behind him indicating that the Extreme Dao and the Silver Knight had resumed their battle!

”Good! Let them fight like dogs, it’d be best if they both died!” Shen Tuhu thought viciously to himself.

Yet he also knew the Extreme Dao could only delay momentarily, defeating the Silver Knight was not realistic.

Shen Tuhu was certain it was impossible for an Awakened to possess such terrifying power, even a genius of Ye Junlin’s level couldn’t come close! The sudden punch just now must have come from a supremely precious life-saving artifact!

Without that artifact, the Extreme Dao was doomed!

”But that guy is strong, he should be able to hold back the Silver Knight for a while! I need to seize this opportunity to escape beyond its surveillance range!”

”However, relying on him alone isn’t enough!”

Suddenly Shen Tuhu remembered something—earlier, a girl seemed to mention that a certain someone was in the restroom on the third floor!

The layout of this mall’s layers was similar on each floor, meaning the third-floor restroom was directly beneath him at this position, very close by!

Without any hesitation, Shen Tuhu leaped down, wielding his Horse-slaying Saber, and slashed through several veins in the third-floor restroom!

He had discovered a peculiar pattern: these scattered veins seemed to have a certain connection with the Silver Knight. Cutting them off would surely draw the Silver Knight’s attention, and by the time it arrived, it would find the girl hiding in the restroom, buying him more time!
