Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”I am quite violent, aren’t I? Ever since arriving in this part of the starry sky, I’ve been relentlessly attacked and chased until I had to flee into the game’s starry sky, snatching resources from mere game players to recover my body, yet I still have so much fighting spirit...”

Jia Yan felt it was quite abnormal to be violent in this way.

Of course, even if it felt abnormal, he wouldn’t give up on his life, because this was the ultimate principle of his existence.

”Alright, Adisa just informed me that another civilization has been found by him. Should I attack the enemy’s spaceship with better battleships in one go, or should I play another round of the war game?”

”I guess let’s go for a game. After all, this is just a game. Otherwise, if everyone just follows behind me to pick up the kills, this game loses its fun. What a great strong one I am, haha.”

Jia Yan found some delight in it, discovering that due to player’s emotional investment in the game, some novel events had gradually started to occur.

”Ah!”

”Honey!”

”No!”

Jia Yan released his Brainwave power, observing intently inside the spaceship.

A large group of male and female player creatures were starting their shameless life.

”Damn it, turns out these players have such plans for playing this game. It doesn’t count as cheating if you fall in love in the game world. My God, how did I not think of this? Be a little less aloof, create a player like a goddess from Earth and have an extramarital affair with her.”

Jia Yan realized that he was rather naive, nowhere near the level of those experienced veterans from Earth civilization.

If he played along, even if Samo Ling found out about his deeds in the future, it’s just a game, right?

Ahhh, envy, jealousy, hatred.

Since Jia Yan tasted certain affairs with Samo Ling, he had been somewhat captivated by these things, and now imagining this kind of stuff makes his mind wander.

Fortunately, since strong ones are accustomed to seeing male and female players everywhere in the spaceship displaying lovey-dovey behavior daily, he returned to a normal mindset.

”Remember all those showing PDA, let them undertake dangerous tasks in the future, humph, how dare they throw dog food at my face.”

Jia Yan still held some grudges, even though those player who received Jia Yan’s hatred had no idea why they offended this strong one.

Of course, even players in the game know that their love will not last long, after all, this civilization has been in a constant state of war.

Some love-showing players were even assigned to work in different regions.

This made it less likely for them to meet each other, and some even broke up because of it.

No one knows that behind all this, there may be the unsmiling ’Lord Jia Yan’ pulling the strings in the shadows; they just reckon themselves unlucky.

Of course, Jia Yan, the mastermind behind it all, found it amusing, though no one knew.

In truth, a game is just a game. As Jia Yan invested more spirit into the game, he gradually arrived at some new insights or, perhaps, discovered a sensation that was different from ordinary life through this game.

Some players with similarly weak powers worked together to complete a task, supporting each other, and Jia Yan even saw that a Respect Level captain also indulged in this feeling of weakness.

He realized instantly that a game could also be quite good. Although others couldn’t discern the Respect Level captain’s strength, he could see through it at a glance.

But even though a Respect Level being should be vastly different from ordinary lifeforms, unlikely to even glance at a weaker being, in the game, he did not exhibit his power and mingled well with average players.

This made Jia Yan regret just a bit, so he decided to learn from this honored being, experiencing the sense of being weak.

There was no chance now; Jia Yan considered investing more spirit into another player’s body, but the thought was promptly dismissed.

After all, he wouldn’t weaken his own spirit for a mere insight.

The pressing issue was to increase the odds of his evolutionary success.

”Lord, we are approaching that civilization. This time, it’s a civilization that’s around two years old. However, in this game, the one-year and two-year marks are significant milestones. Their combat power will greatly increase. Lord, how do you plan to battle them?”

One day, Adisa arrived at Jia Yan’s seclusion place in the subspace.

”Oh, are we getting close?”

Jia Yan’s previous envious demeanor towards PDA players shifted back to a calm, strong-one expression.

”Yes, Lord, I came to report the combat power intelligence between them and us.”

”Now, having absorbed the resources of that one-year-old civilization, although half were expended by you, we still produced a hundred battleships. Moreover, our spaceship has grown a small level, expanding by a hundred meters, and your vehicle has been upgraded to another level.”

Adisa delivered the intelligence all in one go.

”As for the enemy, based on my observation, they have about a thousand battleships, and among them, at least a hundred are a level higher than what we own - mid to low-level civilization battleships, plus their main ship has already been upgraded to a kilometer in size; this two-year civilization’s development is very reasonable.”
