Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

It’s just a game, after all. Who would want it to be as strict as military management?

Since it doesn’t threaten their real lives, players are just players.

Especially in the initial stages, hardly anything is sacrificed, so they don’t care if they lose this game opportunity. Once they’ve played longer in the future and invested more, the game becomes a real part of their life, and they start to worry about gains and losses.

Naturally, this is exactly the same mentality as kids addicted to games on Earth.

”Oh, you don’t see me that way?”

Jia Yan, having transformed into an Earthling-like creature, silently observed the creatures around him.

Seeing that none of the creatures gave him even the slightest glance, and even a few, like that strong individual, sneered at him, Jia Yan instantly understood their attitude.

”Great, so those dissatisfied with me, besides you, are there others? Now I’ll give you a chance, stand up. No matter what the challenge is, if I lose to you too much, then I’ll give up the position of Captain.”

”Oh? Really?”

The strong creature, resembling a tiger but not entirely, only similarly menacing, heard Jia Yan’s promise and suddenly a gleam flashed in its eyes. After all, he wouldn’t want to have a superior that he’s mocked hanging over him, because when assigning tasks in the future, he would certainly suffer losses. No one could possibly hand good tasks to a subordinate who has excluded them, right?

So no matter who takes over when the slender creature steps down, it will definitely be better than having this scrawny creature as Captain.

”That’s right, what do you want to challenge me in?”

Jia Yan didn’t even ask if he wanted to challenge, from his attitude, he already knew he certainly decided to challenge.

”I want to challenge you in combat because besides needing good command skills, combat is also indispensable for every Captain. You better not say your body is too weak right now to accept my challenge.”

This strong creature sarcastically taunted Jia Yan, simply wanting to provoke him into accepting the challenge.

Even though he feels that this Captain, who dares to accept challenges from all creatures, should be a capable existence, but his current body is too weak, so much so that he thought, even if this Captain’s true body were a Respect-Level Being, it wouldn’t necessarily be able to defeat the same-level him with such a frail body.

Unfortunately, the physical fitness of Earthlings, in this Central Region of the Milky Way developed over unknown years, is simply synonymous with weakness and incomplete evolution.

”Sure, I accept your challenge.”

Jia Yan smiled in response.

If someone challenged his command skills, Jia Yan felt he would have to expend some effort, but if it’s combat, then it’s simple.

Even though this body is weak, the player characters in the game are all at the Initial Earth Level, so even if their physique is poor and they’re weak in all aspects, the same level is the same level. Possessing the body of the same level, as a Galaxy Level existence, how could he lose to other creatures?

Unless the opponent is also a Galaxy Level existence, but Jia Yan doesn’t believe a Galaxy Level existence would come to play a civilization game with no purpose like him.

”Begin.”

Soon, hearing that someone challenged the Captain over here, amidst the crowd of onlookers from other teams, two creatures started their attack and defense.

The two creatures, said to have a large disparity in strength, still appeared the same size and Brainwave Power to the onlookers.

Thus, all the creatures around were somewhat interested and eagerly awaited which of these two creatures would ultimately claim victory.

Some of the creatures were even secretly watching their own Captains. After all, they were players, wanting to obtain a good position to ensure access to good game benefits. If the challenge succeeded here, they might also try challenging their Captains.

Originally, such a casual game wouldn’t have serious consequences; at worst, they’d just stop playing. Wouldn’t someone find them in reality?

Boom!

Jia Yan and the strong creature crashed into each other, instantly colliding.

Honestly, the combat power displayed by Initial Earth Level creatures is not too different from the so-called martial artists on Earth, perhaps a little stronger, but far from reaching the level of those earth-shattering Strong Ones later.

Therefore, when Jia Yan and the strong creature attacked each other for the first time, the combat sensation they displayed was quite thrilling.

At least, it was fists-hitting-flesh.

”Oh...”

Jia Yan was slightly surprised during the battle.

Not surprised by the opponent’s powerful combat skills, reaching his level, the mere Initial Earth Level strength doesn’t hold any shock.

Instead, it was because he felt he seemed to have forgotten the combat style at Earth Level.

He even attempted to use Brainwave Power earlier, only to realize Brainwave Power couldn’t separate from the body.

Because Jia Yan entered the game through the game’s method, he couldn’t freely control this body as he would an Avatar; he still needed to understand the game’s rules and limitations to perform.
